Hi from Grand Prairie Texas!
Hi I use to live in Grand Prairie but now live in Virginia Beach VA. Can't wait to get started on this
I just found you on & so excited to learn your techniques, awesome tutorials
Thank you so much for putting this on you tube. For a beginner like me it is very useful. Took your advice and drew out the patterns you used as you did them, on the blank flower square x
I've just found you on RUclips. I'm now a fan. Love your work.
Hi Helen thank you for this great tutorial. You gave me enough courage to try the tulip on a project I already started. It’s a little rough but I’m impressed with it. Looking forward to more of this. J

Looks like everyone's enjoying the Flower Power Quilt - a - long so far. Share your finished blocks on Social Media and be sure to mention where you saw it - "Helen Godden Quilts" on FB and RUclips.
I can't find the photos on your website. Followed your instructions that you gave on block one. Still can't find.. Help. Thank you
Thank you I’m going to try this 😀🤞
Hope you enjoy! Best of luck with the Quilt-a-long. Please consider subscribing so I can continue to make more quilting educational and inspirational videos! Many thanks
Thanks. Yes already subscribed. I tried block 1. And like you say about yourself I don’t do straight lines however I do like them to be reasonable, I found my lines wiggling too much into another section and so when complete I went over with sharpie, that led to a thicker black line in some sections - I just can’t win! I would like to show you my block but not sure how to send. I have your fb page too. Btw can’t wait for 2nd block I’m determined to improve 😄 thanks
I painted my tulip so it is ready
looking forward to seeing a painted version. Remember to add #Flower Power when you post your finished block photo and we will flood the internet with beautiful flowers
Wow that is beautiful. I’ve been doing mini fabric mosaics lately. I may do one in that.
You made it look so easy but I guess that come with many hours of practice
Beautiful idea, love it! When you use a Sharpie on fabric, does it not bleed when you wash it?
Just playing now with plain white fabric to practice the quilting, I plan on doing it with applique, I hope....
I love.the way.you're doing this quilt. I want to do a few like you did with the painting. Jay try. Thank you very much. 💗🐇🐣🐰🐣🐇💗
謝謝指導……🥰
wow .....love the way you make quilting interesting & your way of teaching is outstanding . where are the blocks people are finished, being posted ?
Hi! Everyone is encouraged to share their work on Facebook and Instagram, using the hashtag “FlowerPower”!
Is the end product a quilt, e.g. lap quilt? Or a wall hanging? I’m thinking this would not be washable?
Hand wash is ok...I generally only make wall hanging/art quilts
Hi can I use this foot on my longarm its a sweet sixteen, not the set down one. Thanks and take care.
All Handi quilter feet are interchangeable
@@helengodden2283 thanks Lady take care
☺
Helen , what foot are you using on your sixteen? Need one. Love my panda pencils.
Hi Delilah, Im using Handi Quilter's MircoFoot. You can watch my unboxing video where I take it for a spin here: ruclips.net/video/eUktglTllX4/видео.html. They are available to purchase from your local Handi Quilter dealer. Please subscribe for more quilting education & inspiration!
I am in Awe. I tried finding you on Facebook but wasn’t able to, please help. Thank you.
Hi, Helen I would like to know the size of your fabric ? I know that the patterns are 8” .
Hi Vicki, I cut my fabric 11" so I had plenty of room for boarders and things.
Helen Godden Quilts Thank you, I am just practising, l just can’t get the threads right, only have a little machine, just don’t know what settings to put them on.
what is that white thing you used to thread your needle? Any idea where I can get one or two? Or four?
Hi Jan, that is my new SewMate Needle Threade!. Available from my website, helengodden.com/product/sewmate-needle-threader/. Such a handy little tool!
How do you keep the marker from going on the light box when drawing
Hi Helen , I am so frustrated, my stitchers are very small, can’t get them the normal size. Just doing the Daffodil, and just watched you do the Daisy .
So slow the machine down to half speed and move your hands the speed they wish to go. If your stitches still look too small, slow machine even further. Adjust your machine to suit the confidence of your hands.
Helen, I just discovered your quilt-a-long. It looks intriguing! When you color the block with Inktense pencils, do you wet the fabric after or just leave it dry?
You colour in with the pencil and paint over with a wet brush to dissolve the pigment into the fabric, a bit like watercolours.
Are you working w stitch regulator? Where is your setting set to, please. And thank you
No I am not, just practice.
Wow..I just found this...where do I to join.
No sign up, just download the pattern from the photo album on my facebook page 'Helen Godden Quilts' and get started! It's free to join in anytime.
What machine is this?
Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen
Hi Helen, I’m not on facebook, can I get the patterns somewhere else. Thank you Philippa Taylor
Somewhere I thought I saw you show how to bury your threads with dental floss and a needle. Where can I find that?
I did that in a LIVE on "Helen Godden Quilts" on Facebook. Live #3 I think. I am planning to create a seperate Lasso Method Video for you all. Thanks for your Subscription.
Thank you!
Certains veulent toujours qu'on les soutienne meme s'ils font plein de sales coups aux autres mais eux ne soutiennent pas les autres .... je n'ai aucune obligation de soutenir qui que ce soit, ce sont aux gouvernements de créer un système equitable et fonctionnel ... et même si j'en avais les moyens je ne vois aucune raison de soutenir des individus qui m'ont bien arnaquée et contre lesquels je n'ai meme pas pu obtenir justice, voire être écoutée ... d'ailleurs je ne vois absolument pas pourquoi il faudrait aider sauf ses proches et amis parce qu'eux c est évident ne le feront jamais et certains ont certainement bien plus de moyens que ceux à qui ils demandent de l'aide;
That was "great",
