@@jamer25 Oneirophobia and the first disciple are in my top 5, I very much enjoyed oneirophobia and not so much this one, but at the end music is a matter of preference
@@punchline1729 agreed. First Disciple is up there with Unmade, Last Stand, Soul of Crota, and a lot of other final boss raid themes. I will say though that the rest of the soundtrack for Root of Nightmares is amazing and is in general one of my favorites for a raid soundtrack (even if the raid itself is disappointing for me). I’ll have to play more of Salvation’s edge though to see if it can beat Last Wish for my favorite raid ost.
@@jamer25 for this raid I very much like the herald of finality High action version, destiny music archive has uploaded it today give it a lesson
@@punchline1729 I have listened to it but unfortunately I still have ptsd from that boss on contest.
I’m gonna be honest the theme for taken taniks sounds better than the witness theme. Personally this is probably my least favourite finale boss theme for someone whose the biggest bad of Destiny 10 year journey his theme is very underwhelming it’s not bad but I still prefer the herald of finality boss theme than him
I think it works in the context of the story, we aren't killing the witness in the raid. It's not a bombastic victory theme, because we barely won. We just stopped the final shape to buy us time. Make your own fate and stronger together are the real witness theme

I love M. Salvatori but this isn't acceptable for a boss of this magnitude. The boss in the seasonal activity has a better theme. Hell, a fan made a better theme than this called Self Justifying Teleology that actually turns the darkness motif heroic during dps. This is so disappointing.
oh NAH
Bait used to be believable
This isn't even made by Salvatori
this isnt made to be heroic🤦♂️ it is made to show you how urgent this fight is
@@Spyroab_ mfs when they can't understand stories and realize that we aren't killing the boss, but quite literally saving the universe in what it's its last 5 minutes.
