This video has convinced me to start doing that
Tomo could you re-upload that backing track on your website? We love the track! Thanks so much!
After this video, I turned and looked at my guitars like a man who could no longer please his wife.
But you can buy her machine heads, pickups, new set of strings, new pickguards etc to please yourself.
hahahaha...
@@vailgrass is this a situation when you can file for divorce for safe energy, but childrens (memories) can't afford to do this?
This comment is too Good..😂
Felt that
So nice that this young lady finds time to give lessons.
Robert Gandy The teacher is Tomo not the lady
Dhruv Prakash that was the joke
r/wooosh
aaah the old reddit switcharoo
Robert Gandy I know right the Asian dude Tomowonton tries way too hard to sound good
This perfectly illustrates the difference between the master and the apprentice. While both are insanely good, the apprentice is fully engulfed by her own playing with occasional reaction towards the teacher. The teacher on the other hand is fully aware of his surroundings and reacts to every note of his student, occasionally taking charge and steering the music in the right direction, then backing away and letting his student shine, this is the level of playing I truly admire.
Thanks so much for your writing!!
Sounds like a narration in an anime.
@@suryagurung7793 man😂🤣
I thought Andrea was doing her rhythm thing and Tomo responds with mind blowing solos. Yeah, he let his student shine because she deserves it.
@@gohjohan His solo was really incredible though. I have to imagine he played like that simply because he knows the potential in the student and is giving her the road map to the place she's headed; wherever she wants.
Boys, she did this on a squier! YOUR GUITAR DOESNT MATTER!!! She slayed this shit 🔥🔥🔥
Facts, it’s the guitarist not the guitar that makes the instrument sing
@@Fxeye-ir9ck And also the setup!!! any decent guitar can play like a million bucks with the proper tlc
it still does. if you are a great player, it will be obvious no matter what kind of guitar you play, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the tone of her guitar kinda sucks. if she played the exact same notes in the exact same way on a quality instrument going into a quality amp with the same recording equipment, only an idiot would deny that it wouldn't sound much, much better. so in conclusion, you don't need a good guitar with good equipment to become a virtuoso, and neither will it make your talent any more or less clear to the listener, but it sure as hell will sound better on a record or in a live show.
but that's impossible... she's not playing a custom shop strat through 35 pedals and a $5k amp...
Squier is enough. It's not about the gig, but the Man behind the gig
That's kind of apropos of nothing. Sounds like BigSh00ts is jealous of people who have nice gear; they make him angry.
@@profd65 it was a joke
You know what? This made me pretty satisfied with my Squier Strat.
AND she's probably at Berklee rockin' out in a video that's been viewed over 445,000 times because she's more concerned with the art of playing and producing great tone and she's not (as much) worried about the brand on the headstock of her guitar. Reality is knowing that on her absolute worst day her tone with that guitar would sound better than most of us with the most boutique and expensive gear on the market.
I got the Am7 in the beginning but thats where you lost me
Don't worry!
You can absolutely tell she's in awe of her teacher. What an incredible opportunity to be able to play with Tomo.
Thank you! She did a great job!
Tomo's ability to compliment another player's style with his phrasing is what always gets me. It always fits so perfectly. And she's lighting it up too of course, best of luck and great playing.
Thank you!
Yes, a good example of a a player who puts the ego aside and is open to dialogue with other musicians.
This guy is just an awesome teacher from what I’ve seen, I’d love to take lessons (but I’m a percussionist so RIP)
This young lady has a great sense of rhythm and chord knowledge,
Andrea is so awesome!!
I'm posting a critical and negative comment to make myself feel better
Master Exploder fuck you
@@kiddbizniz6945 he's right tho: there's always room for improvement.
Master Exploder not the point, it’s pointing fun at people who are mean just to make them feel better. they don’t care about helping the person become better
@Master Exploder oh look your doing it too
@@jschroed19 no hes not...
Something's wrong with my Squier it doesnt sound like that....
Seriously tho great playing on both parts :)
No no... just up to the set up. The neck angle, pickup height, the saddles height... then good tone!!
Then get an American strat 🎸😂
@@TomoFujitaMusic i think I need an expert to fix all that
TomoFujitaMusic - I love how simply you put that sir, yes anyone can set up their Fender to play pretty darn well in about an hour or two with some simple tools and reading internet articles.
@@ezraandaria9085 no bro go check paul Davids video. I think its called "5 settings everyone should know" or something like that
People just underestimate the joy this gives students/beginners. They just wanna feel like part of the band lol. It’s so much fun to have experienced players behind you making it sound real. You could play 2 chords over and over again and a drummer/bassist/lead soloist can come behind you and straight make you feel like something lol. It’s awesome. Please guys, jam with your beginners. It’ll raise their confidence so much.
So nice to hear that! Thanks so much! I teach much more detail video lessons and super easy theory lessons at my Guitar Wisdom! Just added new lessons!!

Okay this is some really crazy playing by this girl. Really mad.

Lol I’m really mad too
@@oliverjackson3761 why does it matter if it is a woman that plays better?
Oliver Jackson You sound ignorant...
But can they play Smoke on the water ?
no one can, shit's too difficult
Only Rudy A d o b e can!
You must like Pink Floyd bro
@@ManuelGarcia-wo4ju No that's megadeth.
i think they can what they are playing now are far more better and more difficult than smoke on the water lol. cmon man.
a few things. 1st. She kicks ass. 2nd, not afraid to show the squier headstock, AND makes a SQUIER sound like a custom shop Fender. What a badass.
The cool thing is, now shes sponsored by fender.🔥🔥🔥
That 32nd note strumming is crazy
Thanks!
It wasnt you doing it tomo you darn punk
Especially when it's a 16th note triplet...

Very happy to hear that this video could give some inspiration!
Andrea will work harder and harder! I will push her more and more!
I hope you'll share her progress occasionally. Perhaps a few details on the techniques you're having her work on so viewers can learn along with her. Thanks.
Yes, I will do that. Let mw share a few points that we are working on.... You're welcome!
Thanks for sharing Tomo!
She's so close to play what's really inside her mind when improvising over the song.
Keep goin' Andre, you're such an inspiration for me.
Cheers from Argentina!
Las Expresiones faciales de la chica me encantan, se ve que siente la música desde el corazón!! buen Jam°°
Damn, she is great! A diamond In the rough. Definitely going to be hearing more of her after she graduates!
Just came from Tase Wolf's video, I think the future for female guitar players is looking bright!
Me too bro!
Love that she played a Squire on this, it helps get rid of misconceptions about cheaper brands when you can shred on an axe like this!
The claw hammer rhythm is natural to this girl. Truly a joy to watch!!
Andrea is so good!
Love that she playing a Squier, excellent talent
