In this video, Chris will be reviewing the all-new Morimoto Hybrid headlights for the 18+ F-150!
When the Morimoto XB Headlights came out in late 2018, They set the bar higher than everything else in the aftermarket, and they’re still the benchmark by a longshot to this day. But for many enthusiasts looking for the best, the XBs were simply too expensive. With the introduction of the new Hybrid version, there is finally an XB that everybody can afford. Using a combination of both LED & Incandescent bulbs (thus, “Hybrid”) these offer much of the same amazing features that the originals do for those who want to be XB-ballers on a budget.

One of my Led 7443 GTR switchbacks went out well only the Led part that would illuminate when the low beams are on. The amber on it still works tho. I dont know which ines to purchase from your site there’s alot to choose from

On all your bulb review videos you test the lux at the same distance and conditions. STock, the 2018 F150 is about 280lux in low beam, what are the Hybrid XB's? And what are the newest gen of XB's putting out?
The Lux number will always moves between tests, as they are not going to have the same enviroment everytime, as much as we try to keep them the same. With that said, the tests that we performed in the videos showed that the hybrid headlights had the low beams had 960 Max Lux, and the high beams had 1480 Max Lux. For the full XB Headlights, the video test showed that the low beams had 1360 Max Lux, and the high beams had 1410 Max Lux. Let us know if you need anything else, and I iwll be happy to help!
They almost got it right but still left out the low and high beam bulb replacement feature and also the led DRL should be switchback. Still would go with the alpha rex nova series
That's the whole point of an LED Projector, so that you don't need to replace a bulb! If for some reason you ever have a Defective unit, it'll be covered with the No-Questions-Asked 5-Year Warranty and you'll receive a whole new Housing for that side!
As for the Switchback DRL Feature, that comes with the Higher-Tier XB LED Housing.
@@HeadlightRevolution and what happens if the LED burns out 6 years after you bought it you then have to buy a whole new unit instead of say the replacement bulb form say headlight revolution that has a lifetime warranty that I currently own BTW I would happily spend more money on a lifetime bulb setup and a housing that accepts said bulb then one that If went out I would have to go spend another 800 dollars on

They will be, but they have told us that it wouldn't be until late 2020, so a little longer and we will have them for ya!👍

When I click the link for the led turn signal what color do I choose? Amber or switchback?
That's completely up to you! We personally really like the switchback option which will run white, and then flash amber.
Website says note that of you have 3157 turn signal you need to add/order 7443 bulb. Do these bulbs include the turn signal socket then? The turn signal socket for the 3157 is 3 tab, and the 7443 is the 4 tab.
That socket will come with the headlights, so you will just have to get those bulbs! Let us know if you have any other questions, we are here to help!
@@HeadlightRevolution i bought the gtr bulbs but my socket is defected, one clicks in the other will come out, right out of the box, i need a replacement of the turn signal socket

How does the brightness and beam pattern compare to the XB?
The XB would be brighter, they have a similar beam pattern!

They will not, unfortunately. We haven't heard any word on a chrome version.
Is the 5 year warranty for the headlights offered through you guys? Or through morimoto
If you need to file a warranty claim you can go through Morimoto. They will be able to get you taken care of once you provide your information!

As soon as Morimoto makes them! We haven't heard word on a HYBRID series for the Silverado's yet.

I like them more because of the turn signal switchback feature....wish these had switchback
They are a decent option, of course they can't compare to the Morimoto XB LED Headlights but they do alright!

Why you don't compere Manifacure Led with morimoto? Do if you really analyst
Because this option is for people that have the non LED spec truck. If you have factory LED housings you would be in the market for this product. thanks for commenting though.
How do i adjust them

@@HeadlightRevolution yes this is my second passenger light the low beam is intermittent. The DRL no longer works on the driving light (extra bright) mode.
All plugs are tight and packed with dialectical grease
Is there anything for the 2021 f150?
No full assemblies just yet, if you have halogen lights we should be able to get you set up with something though!

I don’t get why they wouldn’t make the low beam leds replaceable. It’s crap if it burns out you gotta take the whole assembly out? Wtf
Take a look at any vehicle that comes with OEM LED, it's all non-replaceable. This is done so that the housing can be made as efficient as possible for cooling, performance, etc.
It's covered by a 5 year warranty, if you do happen to have a failure it will be covered. I understand it's a bit of an inconvenience,having to remove the headlight and what not, but seeing as the OEM lights only have a 1 year warranty I think 4 extra years beyond that is great!

The full XB housings are that premium piano black!
This morimoto its ugly and I won't pay dime for that. and its never better than factory LED.
Everyone has a different opinion.
