Yutaka Yamada is such an amazing composer, his work on Tokyo Ghoul is truly memorable. I would love to see you check out his other tracks with vocals like Glassy Sky. He also actually made the Vinland Saga and Great Pretender soundtracks, they're so damn good, especially Vinland Saga being already à masterpiece of an Anime mixed with the beautiful OSTs it only gets elevated more :)
Indeed, i think Glassy Sky is an even bigger and more memorable soundtrack. This one is probably more expanded with the instruments, and effects, but Glassy Sky gives even better impression, with the vocals, and beautiful melody.
@@emmanuela7528 it's easily one of his best works to date . Tokyo ghoul might be more favoured and popular but it didn't feel so damn ethereal and painfully beautiful like Vinland saga.
Yutaka Yamada is one of the best when it comes to Anime OST, such an amazing composer, every work he has ever had his hands on was enhanced by so much and made so much more emotional with his soundtrack, absolute King.
Atlas' channel has become this wholesome place where anime and gaming community gather and vibe along. I have so much appreciation for your work. (Pls do Gehrman)
Atlas: bothers himself too look up translations and analyse entire vocals of a song. Also Atlas: Doesn't even bother to Google Translate 1 single German word to learn the full title of a song and get the context of it to analyse it with the song
In that first section where the notes drop off and leave a ton of space, it almost seems as if it represents Kaneki's world and understanding growing bigger.
There’s so many good Tokyo Ghoul tracks, it’s hard to pick just one. Incidentally, the title translates to “Light and Shadow”. As for other Tokyo Ghoul tracks? Symphonie (very Carl Orff Carmina Burana-inspired) Shreds of Light Schmetterling (Butterfly) Auferstehung (Resurrection) Donnerschlag (Thunderstorm)
I’m just addicted to your videos man. Love hearing what a pro thinks when listening to the music I love. You need to check out some of the music from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Particularly the Shinobi Owl and Owl Father themes. Two themes for the same character in different battle that borrow from one another musically. Would love to hear a reaction!
I am really glad that you did Tokyo Ghoul ost, I'm looking forward for you to react to ashes on the fire from AOT and AOTF-S1, also would recommend to try some of Evangelion rebuild movies soundtracks like Sin, From the dark, God's Gift...
The greatest tragedy from this soundtrack is the unreleased OST from the s1 finale. The most powerful, beautiful, haunting piano instrumental I've ever heard and it's not available anywhere!
I would recommend you to check the 1st opening of Tokyo Ghoul called Unravel. I know it's not a soundtrack but it's fire! Also, Sadness and Sorrow soundtrack from Naruto would be cool too. Actually, almost every soundtrack from Naruto is pretty good.
I hope you would react to the other version of licht und schatten (including "On My Own"), cause all of them are very good. Oh and thanks GutsBerserk for recommending it.
If we are doing anime OST’s, perhaps requiem of silence is one to consider in future, even the name has great meaning behind it. I’m not so good at reading music so your breakdowns really help
To truly understand the soundtrack you need to watch this masterpiece, to feel all that pain the characters went through... and trust me the next time you listen it you will start crying
Idk if Atlas reacted to it before but I feel like it would be awesome if he reacts to any Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, the Jazz is insane, it’s super dynamic and the groove is just brilliant. But tbh, tons of people know about this track already… I still want to recommend it though

Some fools once said Fromsoft didn't have much musical hits before the later 2 Dark Souls games, but I came from their games before those times, and I would consider giving the music from their mecha series Armored Core a listening to. Not only did Fromsoft have a blast with it, but so would the community to a degree. Armored Core For Answer ost Spirit of Motherwill (might come up "spilit" from translation) is an enjoyable one. Armored Core V ost Mech Dinosaur is also fun one. The thing to note is that these are themed fitted for giant robots fighting.
Atlas you need to listen to Sajou no hana- mayuiro from the anime “is it wrong to try to pick up girls from a dungeon.” It is a masterpiece of a song, and it’s impossible to not enjoy it.
Day 4 of asking for you to react to Requiem of silence from Re:zero starting life in another world. Composed by Kenichiro Suehiro, I don’t know if you’ve reacted to one of his songs before but honestly this OST is a masterpiece. To give some context on the series as a whole, the mc has been given a return by death ability in a new world he’s been transported to. He is forced into situations beyond his limits and has to watch his friends he’s made along the way on his journey die in horrible ways. It’s honestly quite similar to Berserk where the mc Subaru is struggling against the odds stacked against him and has to make his way out without giving up.
Please give The Weight of Lives ost from Attack on Titan a listen. It is one of my favorite ost's ever. One of my favorites parts of the whole song is the drums. The drumline on this song is perfect and it progressively gets more intense. It truly is a masterpiece.
No se si podras pero reacciona esirnus de hiroyuki sawano, es mas o menos reciente de la pelicula Gundam Hathaway Tambien hay otros temas buenisimos pero ese es el que mas me gusto ya que es epico y emocional lo que transmite.
Day 13 of requesting House of Sacred Remains from Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. Beautifully atmospheric level track and one of my fave's from video games in general. It'd be awesome to hear what you think of it.
Metaphorically, Tokyo Ghoul describe the mental struggle and disappointment of one self while undergoing transformation from an immature teenager into a cruel cannibal grown up who he once despise. He don't want to be a part of violence in the adult world, but he end up to be the worst of all. That's how I interpret this anime.
Tokyo Ghoul has enthralling ost's, I knew you'd be impressed with this composition
Man ur everywhere stop
The legend is there
TG and TG:Re OST's are some of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. Both are masterpieces.
The season 2 ending still gives me chills
Pls stop..stoop!!

Yes Glassy Sky is a must to check out after this one!!

Actually listened to Vinland Saga today and I loved it.

100% agreed

My personal favorite is kevin pekin. He did tower of god and made in abyss
I really hope he does unravel and more tokyo ghoul tracks.

I love those 2 series you reacted on, dark souls and attak on titan. And it's Tokyo Ghoul!!!
Man you are my favorite bald guy now
If you really do like synthetic elements mixed with organic elements, then I suggest Reluctant Heroes from Attack on Titan.
Yes! Finally some Tokyo ghoul Ost
Beware of the feels
I always loved that soundtrack, bring back so many memories🥺

What if I told you...
That you are absolutely fucking correct!🙂

Loved your reaction and breakdown as always!! Would love it if you could react to 'Ashes on fire' and 'The Other Side of the Sea' from AOT :D
Owari no seraph ost : 108, just an amazing ost
Yutaka Yamada is amazing. The Tokyo Ghoul OST and Vinland Saga OST are both exceptionally well made.
The greatest tragedy from this soundtrack is the unreleased OST from the s1 finale. The most powerful, beautiful, haunting piano instrumental I've ever heard and it's not available anywhere!

There's Wanderers, On my Own from the same anime.. and also glassy sky.
Every time I listen to these OSTs, I want to re-watch Tokyo Ghoul.
Escuto essa música a anos e até hoje é incrível.
Indeed it is
Has he done Unravel yet?
Probably already heard it. Its not like you could escape this opening when being on the internet
you should listen Tokyo ghoul opening called unravel its an incredible song
Don't forget Glassy Sky. One of Yamada's another amazing work for tokyo ghoul.

One of the most emotional music themes in anime, IMO. Sorry for my english.
