Made in abyss is a metaphor for man descending into the darkness. He stops being human, not human again, and has a great similarity with Dante's hells, that is why when you speak of humanity, you speak of a great, terrible and crude history.

And despite how degenerate and dark the Abyss (more precisely, the story) shows itself to be, us, the viewers will keep watching/reading. Even though the author put disturbing innuendos, questionable morality, and gore on children in this story: we still keep watching/reading.
Because of morbid curiosity. The only way we can see the truth of the abyss is if we ignore everything and just keep on falling down like Riko and Reg into this beautiful depiction of hell. This manga is humanity's true form and that makes me question a lot, and its either we stop watching/reading to acknowledge the disturbing nature of this story and be disgusted by it or we just keep descending into this twisted beauty because we want to see what comes next.
And this is why I love MiA but I cant recommend it to everyone. Its beautiful hell and morality becomes so twisted that you gotta hold on tight to your past morals to remember them and just keep descending. Remember that Ignorance is Bliss so just keep on falling. There's fun in that descent that I cant explain properly.

The song is from the soundtrack album for 'Dawn of the Deep Soul' which constitutes a sequel film to Made in Abyss season 1 and, effectively, its 2nd season.
The lyrics to the thematically similar 'Hanezeve Caradhina' in season 1 were gibberish and I believe that was almost certainly the case for this song as well. Mr. Penkin was able to assemble a small group of musicians to record the songs for S1 so I can't imagine the studio cheaping out on a theatrical film.
Once again your analysis of the piece is, in broad terms, very accurate. In spoiler-free terms, the song starts playing at the conclusion of a false climax and then transitions into a warm sleepy scene whose significance isn't yet clear, and finally into an artsy dream sequence/flashback.

I love watching and learning from your videos. It's like showing a friend, or having a friend show you a soundtrack, and then talking about the moving parts of that music piece, the feelings, the instruments, the meaning. :) I don't really have many people who enjoy soundtracks and how they intertwine with characters and ideas in the story, so this kinda satisfies my need to hear/see people react to good music. Thank you for reacting to this track. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :)
I agree, there is a lot of different feelings shifting throughout the song and history. I love how it approaches and kinda explains Bondrewd's (from the anime) character with that sickly synth and children's choir. Funny story: The organ part of this track played one night when I was commuting from work just as I was merging onto a deserted highway. The darkened world, the sensation of rapidly increasing speed (well, as rapid as a little, old econo car can achieve with my less than leaden foot ;D), the very mechanical vibration of the car and the song...it was just really epic. XD
Awesome reaction. You are so good at picking up the meaning behind each section, some of them I didn't even recognize until you explained it.

The treat is the actual villain and the lyrical part that comes after that represents to me his arrival in the scenary... personaly I can only feel madness and despair from that lady's lyrical, wich fits him perfectly... deep madness and despair, like an abyss. Definely my favorite part of the song because it tells how degenerated the vilain is. And sure, the "hope" that comes after is equaly good, I haven't got to that part of the history just yet, but I feel they will find some way to defeat that crazy man (as far as I have seen he is the best villain from every midia not just anime)

I think you should listen to Hanezeve Caradhina in order to give more context.
Yes, its a separate song, but it sets up a lot of what this song does.

You will >love< The Rumble of Scientific Triumph.
While Transcendance and Henezeve drips with human emotion and beauty. The Rumble of Scientific Triumph festers and oozes that beauty twisted on its head and interweaves sinister and ominous curses with the overflowinf blessings of humanity.

There is a weird nostalgia I get from this particular song as the first one, Hanezeve Caradhina, was so impactful when it first hits in the anime.
Contextualizing the final part of this song as hope, given the scene that it plays during, makes it feel that much heavier as it didn't strike me as a very hopeful scene until you brought that up and I realised it kind of is.
Oddly enough, even though I love the manga and anime, I am just as excited that Kevin Penkin will be the composer for the third installment of the anime and hoping he continues this Hanezeve arc.
(and yeah it is in a made up language as far as I have read)

I’d recommend anything from Vinland saga. Pretty much everything is great and draws out a lot of the same meaning as pieces from Berserk in regards to a lonely fight and a hard life.

This song it's telling the story of the abyss..the intro..the "white wisels"...expectative of the journey behind...then BOOOM! Organ apears, its like the abyss thelling "this is me...Masive..and you ar a litle human being"...then calm again but motion feeling whit flute sound...then light apears and hope comes in a form ov voices...an so on.
    UFF!
(I hope some one cand understand me..i dont speak english sorry)
