“Do you know how angry I am at myself?” Sure she was SAYING that, but body language never lies. Deep down she was loving every moment. Seriously though, this is my favourite movie love scene ever. Not only does Gemma look incredibly sexy in this scene, but I’m lovin how she was all stern & authoritarian towards Bond at first, but then she let her guard down & softened right up. Loved seeing the transition 👌💯
I wonder who thought of this scene? The director? One of the writers? Or Daniel or Gemma themselves? Because whoever thought of it is a visual GENIUS! The kissing scene is absolute eye candy to look at and is extremely easy on the eye - it is the definition of ART in my eyes 💯
That hotel room is a sniper shot through my aesthetics... I wanted so bad for the movie to pause and just show me this ultra modern minimalist black and white hotel room...
Maybe it’s because I used to work on film sets and worked at movie studios but when they enter the hotel, based on the sound when they start talking I can tell this is a studio and not a hotel.
Bloody hell...he's quick wid da oneliners! If I was agent Fields I'd probably b looking for a notepad n envelopes. Doh!! I had some reservations about Daniel playing James Bond but he's just really rather breathtakingly cool n sexy!
@@electricmaster23 I've always perceived it as a phallic nod; pens, stationary. Then there's the whole "sheets" on the bed, by analogy to "sheets" of paper? IF MI6 is so smart, how come they keep sending hot, susceptible 20-something women to try and get Bond to behave himself?
Jeffrey Gillespie because if it was a guy he would beat the shit out of him and tie him up somewhere .
then send a wodin big fat and ungly with a stick he will be good then. 😅😅😅
Well, then it would not be fun for James.
Well I guess it is their way to controle him and know what he is going to do. I dunno if it’s that but it could be...
Welp, not in this (Bond's) universe
It took him less than a minute WHAT A LEGEND!
Only in the movies kiddo
lol
@@gmar7836i didn't use the stationary line, but managed a 1min pickup at a bar. it was no questions asked and i kept my kidneys so I call it a win
This scene is kinda sad as well, This whole movie is it’s Bond’s rebound from Vesper, the only woman he’ll ever really love
Not really, bonds always been a seducer
@@bubalfred260 everyone can seduce for a one night stand but he truly loved Vesper and did send an Email to M for his resignation of the MI6
Until Madeline came into the picture
You can still love a woman and sleep with others. Something people will never understand about men.
I can't believe she was only 22 when they filmed this.
She fit
She was 20 actually she’s the hottest Bond Girl
gross age difference
@@roll14tideroll i mean they’re both adults and Craig was only 40 when this was made. It’s not really that bad
@@oliverrasmusson2362 Yup! Plus he's James Bond. He'll forever be sexy and ageless. That's the whole point of his character. Lol
Bond is probably the only man in the world that could use the word stationary to seduce a woman

hpa2005 what means stationary??
@@albeertoh2131 basic items for taking notes like notepad + pen with hotel name
@@forgotaboutbre Yes, that's what stationery means. But "stationary" means unmoving and fixed in place.
@@ebola-chan8118 He obviously meant stationery. Derp prize for you.
The coolest keys throw in history!
This ones amazing but I prefer casino royale when he crashes the range rover
The best part in Quantum of Solace 😏
She is absolutely gorgeous.
Her and Monica Bellucci are the hottest Bond girls to me.
The French woman that played Severine (however her name's spelt) was also a hottie
Gemma Arterton is a Goddess.

I’d probably miss the signals and foolishly be pulling the pen and paper I always have in my bag out, saying “it’s ok Mr Bond, have these” doh
even the look on her face is awesome -after he tosses the keys...yes ma'am.
She was 22 years old when she made this movie! I feel do old
bob roger she didn't look 22. She looked 30+

Bond's self confidence, sharm...and sex less than 1 minute.
impressive! i should work on myself

I tried that pickup line but it doesn't work quite as well in a nightclub
u think she smells like strawberrys
I wouldn't know...but Trevelyan would!
The party later on took place on 8.23.08 (August 23 2008) beginning at 8pm as per the invitation. Only spotted that the other day.
I know what 007 is saying but by referring to "stationary" i'm guessing he's alluding to the double entendre of a writing utensil?
What is the original meaning? I only got the writing one.
