Omg.. I swear i was thinking yesterday about it and wondering why jonas noell didn't publish a video about it yet!!! Next time I'll think about a million dollars 💵 😅😂
Another very good tutorial. It's always the little stuff that impresses me. Inverting a map and changing the RGB Offset - how do you even come up with that?
Haha actually I just came up with this while doing this tutorial. Couldn't understand why inverting a mid grey map results in a super bright output. Not really sure what 3ds Max is doing there, but it doesn't make sense.
@@JonasNoell Do you know what RGB Offset does, by any chance? Is it just a shortcut for the advanced adjustments or is it something completely different?
If I understand it correctly it just offsets all the RGB values with a certain amount. So basically just makes the image brighter or darker @@pixelquarry
Nice and detailed tutorial, as always! Thanks. I saw a similar tutorial a while ago for Blender, but I was too lazy to try and replicate it inside V-ray, and I wasn't sure if I would succeed with that :D By the way, vertex paint is a cool feature that I have never really used, even though I know about its existence. I always tried to use gradient ramps and UV Map modifiers with different Map IDs. Speaking of, are there different Map IDs in Vertex Paint or is it strictly bound to vertices (one layer, basically) by definition? I see in the modifier there is a variant with either vertex color or with a map channel. Does this mean that you are essentially drawing a bitmap if you choose the map channel?
You can have multiple map channels by adding multiple VertexPaint modifiers. Having it set to (the default) VertexPaint mode just means you are drawing in map channel 0 and with the other option you can define which channel you want to use.

You are now officially nominated to the VRay tutorials OSCAR award ! 🙂
Haha I didn’t know that existed 😀
Mind blowing. The way the water accumulates where it makes sense is just :chef's kiss: Amazing, Jonas!

Our favorite vray guide🔥...yesess sir
Danke Jonas, danach habe ich lange gesucht. Deine Tutorials sind absolut super.
Freut mich :)
Advanced material made easy .. thats sums your tutorials 👍 great as always
So cool! More of that, please!
Keep it up!!
you are great jonas💙
bro. the absolute mad man. you actually did it! thank you!
Great tutorial as always!
Glad you liked it!
YOU ARE AWESOME !!! GURU!!
thanks for the video!!
thanks
nice. I had a tutorial for that and it was published in 3dartistonline magazine. My method was to composite 3 noises together.
great tutorial, thanks
Amazing 👏 🙀

You are the best
Awesome! Thanks a lot! I Was looking for that effect and can't afford it myself.
Great tutorial as always.
Hi Jonas - out of topic question: How to use ALPHA channel in animation to add background? (e.g. adding Clouds video)
Another amazing tutorial, thanks!
Can we use vraydisplacement modifier? why after adding vraydisplacement, the puddle decrease reflectivity? what can we do to have either?
Thanks a lot.its perfect
nice
You teach V Ray very well. It is very good. Do you also create materials with Substance Designer?
Normally not, for me I find it better to do that in V-Ray directly as I only need to render it there.
i love you dude

@@JonasNoell got it. Definitely need to try. Thank you again!
@@JonasNoell Maybe a Vertex Paint tutorial with some of your clever applications of this tool?
Hi Sir can we only upgrade by monthly payment..not by a full payment one payment...???
Have monthly membership on Patreon
@@JonasNoell can you plz sir male a video on unwrap modefier and also a fabric texture video
Is that shader works with Chaos Vantage?
Good question, I have never used Vantage but since the shader is quite simple I guess it should
I tried to do it myself very successfully, trying several sets of PBR materials. Too bad I can't comment on uploading pictures on youtube
Great to hear! Yeah, unfortunately RUclips doesn’t upload pictures! But I’m sure it looks great 😊
I LOVE YOU
Is it possible to upload the scene to another site?
Because the current site does not work for me
You mean Patreon? What doesn't work?
@@JonasNoell Yes Patreon.
Is it possible to send the entire scene with the materials and settings?
I'm sorry put they are only available on Patreon. What doesn't work for you exactly?@@BASSAMALZAIDY-m7t
@@JonasNoell Ok, thank you, but I don't have any money.
I wanted to know the scene settings with textures
thanks
