Myself 🙋🏼♂️ and Ellie 🙋🏼♀️ both met each other in college where we both studied travel and tourism 🌍 back in 2009. We decided to start our RUclips channel just before the pandemic started to bite around the world as we thought wed love to capture our memories as well as make informative honest videos about different resorts and hotels to help other travellers decide what might be right for them when booking their next trip abroad. Wow, this looks like such a lovely resort guys! Such a good video to show us around and everything the resort has to offer! The pools and beaches look lovely as well, doesn’t look cramped at all and loads of space! No doubt you had a lovely stay here! Looking forward to watching more of the trip! 🤩🤩🤩
Aww this hotel was lush guys the space honestly when you see our second hotel it’s kinda cramped and worse when your neighbour on the sunbed you can lick their armpits 😂 we loved this hotel first time in a Marriot owned hotel we’d stay their again 😍 thank you both hope your having a great weekend PS Keiran I’ll msg back on WhatsApp tomorrow probably 💙

I LOVE the buffet restaurant, so much choice and quality of food also looks good, I would come back 10kg heavier 😜🐷🐷🐷

We aren’t usually a fan of buffets however this was a good one, so much so we both put on a lot of weight! The scales were screaming at us when we got home 🤣😆

WOW….we tend to do Greek Islands, Canaries, Portugal etc as we love to walk and explore,so self cater………but your complex looks absolutely amazing with so much there! Maybe we will broaden our horizons 😊
I know what you mean we also love to walk and explore and finding lovely little restaurants. Europe is prefect for that! But there are so many good all inclusive resorts out there and this one was amazing we loved it 😍 we don’t like to sit in a hotel all day long so we still got out about and explored pretty much most of the island which was fab! I’d recommend Mauritius and we know of a couple out there at the moment doing self catering and looks like they are also having a fab time 🤩

Don’t be disappointed honestly it’s a beautiful hotel. We loved it 😍 yeah sea shoes are a must definitely worth getting before you go! Have a lovely time :)
@@JamesandElliesAdventures can we get sea shoes in the shop at the hotel? Also do they supply things like shower gel, shampoo etc or do we have to bring our own?
They do have a shop in the hotel but I’m not sure if they sell sea shoes or not sorry. It would be cheaper to get sea shoes before you go.
Yes the rooms have shampoo and shower gel etc even body lotion which was quite nice :)

We have stayed at the international next door twice now, we had a look around the Westin on our 2nd visit at it had only just opened, it’s a lovely hotel, we do really like the intercontinental though, we watched one of your other videos about anantara and agree the hotels with character theme are better than some of the new modern. We didn’t the think much to Anantara We are planning a 3rd visit for our 10th anniversary next year…although we would like the Maldives too 😆 but feel more to do at Mauritius would you agree?

The intercontinental looks lovely too. We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin 🤩
Don’t get me wrong the Anantara was nice but we much preferred the Westin.
Definitely more to do in Mauritius but I would say if you haven’t been to the Maldives you should try it the beaches and the experience in general was just incredible and would go back in a heart beat. James was worried he would be bored in the Maldives but he also had the time of his life 😍

Hello, thanks for watching :)
The pools are better at the Westin but the beach is better at the Anantara so it depends if you are pool or beach people. A big con we feel for the Anantara was there wasn’t shaded areas on the beach!
The Anantara is a newer hotel and will be more beautiful in a few years time whereas the Westin was well established and such a beautiful resort.
Rooms were lovely at both and food was also good at both but if we had to choose one to go back to it would have to be the Westin :) I hope this helps :)
Heyy this is a great review. Nothing else like this online. We have just booked this place for June and we're really excited. I was wondering if half board includes all 4/5 restaurants for dinner at all?

So half Board you would but it’ll be the same with 3 of the restaurants we’re they give you a “supplement” of I can’t remember 1500/2000 rupees each but the meals cost 4500/4800 each. Best ask when you arrive nothings really all inclusive anymore isit 🤕.

Hi guys - going to Westin Turtle Bay in late June / early July this year - mum and dad and three teenagers - can you give us a heads up please in dress code at night ? Trousers for me and my two boys or can we wear dress shorts etc etc ? And the girls ? Cheers !
Hello, men can wear dress shorts, my husband wore shorts every night with no problems :) and for the ladies I just wore dresses in the evenings and even one night wore shorts and a nice top :) have a lovely time, the Westin is a really lovely hotel and Mauritius is beautiful 😍

Hi, love your videos! I’m deciding between Constance Belle Mare and Westin Turtle Bay - I’m looking for quality breakfast buffet, water sports, good beach - what’s your recommendation?
Hello, thank you ☺️ we haven’t been to the Constance belle mare but it looks lovely so we can only comment on the Westin. We really loved the Westin and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The beach was okay at the Westin but I think the belle mare beach is better! I hope that’s helps ☺️
We are visiting in November and have read the dress code for men is long trousers in all restaurants and bars, is this case or can smart shorts be worn in the evening?
I wouldn’t worry I don’t wear jeans or trousers I’m not going to make myself uncomfortable on holiday Feck that! I wore normal shorts and cargo shorts and they didn’t batter an eyelid so don’t panic 😉
Can you swim in the sea? It looks very rocky and shallow? Amazing video btw 😊
It was fairly rocky and a lot of sea urchins but we did see people swimming a bit further out. Thanks so much :)
Does the season tastes restaurant offer an English breakfast?
Hello, yes you can get sausages, eggs, beans etc, but I can’t remember if they have bacon or not. The food was good, we enjoyed it :)
has anyone been to here and lux grand gaube? this doesn't seem quite as nice and is basically the same price? looks like lots of supplements etc. great video btw :-)
Thanks we want to try and help we hate when you go all inclusive but hotels hammer at your wallet to get more out of you 🤦🏼♂️ they shouldn’t call it All inclusive should they.
No we haven’t been Liz grand gaube we really want to go but it was out of our price range they wanted double and some for elephant we paid for this hotel 😰.

Awww thank you so much we try to give the best info we can about the hotel so people know what to expect and not get any shocks when they arrive. When we book hotels there’s never good videos and what’s at the hotel etc so that’s why we love doing these. If we help atleast 1 person we’ve achieved our goal 😃
