I love this video! Again reminds me of your first Maldives series and love that it was a long one! 🤗 Always makes me chuckle when you say you’ve hit the jackpot if no one is in the aisle seat! We were always the same! 😂🙈 A great tip I was given years ago, if you book the window and aisle seat, unless the flight is super busy the middle seat is unlikely to be taken. It worked really well for us most times and if anyone did ever book the middle seat they were always happy to swap to the aisle anyway so you haven’t lost anything! ☺️ Looking forward to next weeks video!

We do it’s amazing when no one sits next to you we had the most annoying people next to us that woman when we wanted to get up she just shuffled her legs and wouldn’t move 🫠 I mean WTF who does that so Ellie was annoyed then when we came home I had a guy that had ADHD and wouldn’t sit still I nearly slapped him one 😆. We’ve tried doing the seats like that but the system has a hissy fit and doesn’t let us 🫣 so we give up. Thank you so much 💙💙💙 got the hotel tour out This Sat then our room tour separately which is a very short vid then we got vids going out for Best North beaches and then South beaches on the island 😜. Gosh, that sounds horrendous, some people are just bloody rude. That would have been my worst nightmare! 😲 It’s a while since I’ve booked seats, perhaps it’s not a thing anymore then. That’s a shame. 🙁 Looking forward to the rest of the series. Your room looked awesome, so can’t wait to see what the rest of the hotel is like on the tour. And keep those longer videos coming! We just wish some planes just had 2 seats so you don’t have some weirdo stranger next to you then it’s not Badgetting up and going toilet. Aww we’ll we have one other video over 30 mins the rest are around average 15 mins apart from some room tours are like 4/6 mins so far 😬
That’s why we used to like Emirates 777, there are a few 2 seater rows at the back. No annoying people stopping you getting out for the loo! 😂 Look forward to the 30min vid! 👌🏻

The upgrade was so good unexpected and such a lovely treat the room was amazing. Stray animals aren’t for everyone they only came up to us as we love animals and we entice them near us 😍, a lot of the hotels have stray animals not loads and loads like just the odd here and there we probably just made it look like there a lots but you don’t have to worry 🙂. Vacations are for eating and drinking anything you want! 😁 bob sometimes tries to behave himself on what he has on vacation but for me that’s part of the fun. What a king travel day you had! But holy crap your room is gorgeous! That large balcony is amazing!! Loved it when Ellie said “why are we only here for 5 nights???” 🤣❤️
Yeah we try to behave but it lasts all of about 2 minutes when we get lunch or dinner 😂 we think FAQ it! We’re in holiday let’s enjoy ourselves we don’t eat like pigs at home 😆. Good on Bob for staying strong 💪🏼 I couldn’t do it though too much hard work give him a high five from me 😎. We never ever get upgraded either and it was so nice I wish we stayed a lot longer at this hotel 😏 just wish we always got upgraded though haha that would be nice. Loveeee a travel day! It was interesting to see Gatwick again, we’ve not been for years now! Looks like you had a great flights as well, have that spare seat is lucky too, definitely let’s you relax so much more without having a random next to you lol! So funny how fast you was having to shop at bath & body haha, Ellie smelling as many candles as she could as you had to rush, getting 3 free was ace though! James trying that egg was hilarious 😂 some plane food is just not good at all haha! Can’t believe how beautiful the Mauritius looks and the hotel grounds look so lovely! The room you got upgraded to is amazing too, looks huge and those balconies 😍 Looks like the best start to the holiday, can’t wait to see more of the island and the other vlogs! Love Gatwick it was so good to fly from there again and so many more food options at North terminal which was great to see :) definitely feels like you’ve won a decent flight 😆 it’s nice to be able to spread out a bit! Haha I’ve never smelt so many different candles in such a short amount of time I looked like a proper nutter but so chuffed with the deal they had one it would have been rude not to 🤩 I woke james from a sleep to make him try it, poor james 🤣 I just get so much enjoyment from watching his face try plane food 😆 I’m so evil haha! Honestly Mauritius is such a beautiful country, you and Ollie would love it so much to see and do that’s why we love it so much

Good morning elle and James.can you stay on any part of the island. I love animals like the look of feeding giant tortuise was just wondering if easy to do day trips,from any part of the island.have a lovely Sunday
Yes you tend to stay on the coast (north, east, south or west) but it’s very easy to do day trips from anywhere on the island. If you didn’t fancy hiring a car like we did then the best way is to hire a taxi driver for the day (not expensive) and they will take you where ever you want or they can even suggest an itinerary for you :) Would definitely recommend Mauritius. Ohh your flying from a different airport from us and your only staying around the corner were in Melleiha. There is a trip you can see all the beautiful scenic spots in a jeep 4x4 that’s a good trip! See the blue lagoon if it’s your first time too. (It’s mega busy though 😳) you have to see Valletta too and see the upper/lower Barrakka gardens. You’ve got Mosta Dome which is cool to see too :)
Nothing wrong with Indulging on holiday .. I tend to do the opposite and drink less and eat healthier for some weird reason .. loving the journey so far .. gonna show my mrs later .. who did you book thru .. or did u do it all yourselves .. love the air tag idea too .. looking forward to next video Lee

Yeah we’d say it’s great we’re both vegetarians and we didn’t have an issue a lot of hotels offer some good food now - I know we are terrible at showing the food (we need to get better at this 😅) but the food we had was some of the best we’ve had on holiday so far 😘 👌🏼. I think it’s because we eat healthier at home and don’t particularly drink at home so we go crazy when we’re away 🤣 we use an agent to book our holidays and if you follow us on Instagram and want those details happy to share :) yes apple air tags are great wouldn’t travel without them definitely worth getting :)

Yeah we’d say it’s great we’re both vegetarians and we didn’t have an issue a lot of hotels offer some good food now - I know we are terrible at showing the food (we need to get better at this 😅) but the food we had was some of the best we’ve had on holiday so far 😘 👌🏼.

We got sooo lucky with the upgrade, the room was stunning 🤩 most definitely that’s what holidays about. Doesn’t matter how many pastries are eaten at breakfast we deal with it when we get home 🤣
