Bald Eagles Jackie and Shadow 🦅🦅❤️ I invite you to watch the second part of the snowy adventures of Jackie and Shadow on 30th and 31st March 2024. You'll see Jackie completely covered in snow & Shadow coming for his afternoon snowy shift. The weather is wintery this spring but the view is breathtaking. You can admire an amazing sunrise and sunset in winter scenery and beautiful colours. You'll also see pretty close-ups of both Jackie and Shadow in the snow. 🦅🦅🥰

After having so much snow is it possible that the nest has water inside from after the snow melts ?
@mamaryfromthesouth9869 While it’s unlikely that the nest itself accumulates water from melted snow, bald eagles’ diligent incubation efforts ensure their eggs remain warm and dry even in challenging weather conditions. Their commitment to parenting is truly inspiring! 🦅❄️

Poor guys. 😢 A warmer climate would seem to benefit the pair much better.
Will they maintain their nest when they realize the eggs are not hatching? Do they locate a new nesting area or will they come back to the same tree? Lastly, will they stay as a pair or will they find new partners? Thanks for providing all of these lovely an exciting videos. We started watching in February and it has been so eye-opening to watch this majestic pair.
IF you go on the live feed, there are links that answer your many questions. Bald Eagles are unaffected by bad weather and at this point we already know sadly, the eggs will not hatch. There have been previous years the same thing has happened to them. Remember Eagles are predominately found in Alaska. Eagles mate for life.
@GiGiLuvsKatz 1. Bald eagles inhabit even Alaska and they are used to severe weather conditions. 2. They will be in the area and it will be possible to watch them all year round. However, they will not spend their time on the nest with no eggs or chicks to look after. 3. They will come back to the same nest in October to prepare this nest for the next season. 4. They will stay together.
