Yes you can since Dr Ph Martins iridescent ink is quite thick. I would suggest putting the ink in a separate ink well and mix it with distilled water before use.

Do you have to have a special pen to use this paint?
This is called an oblique penholder, specially designed for right handed calligraphers. I am using a pointed nib to write these.
