you talked about key on usb power check your main fuse box in the engine bay they have some usb power outlets that can power on all the time by moving the fuse over one area. check it out dodge is known for that
@@ChadMyers73 I have the same exact truck with the same setup same radio. I spliced all my wires and get nothing on the speaker side of It. Do I need to splice the amp wire? Or I'm just wondering where I went wrong. Also the harness I got has a parking brake wire witch u plugged it and still yet has no sound coming from any speaker. But does turn on and shows my backup camera
@@ChadMyers73 Ah I see. I wanted to get the same stereo for my 2000 Civic but I don't have controls. I bought an Accord steering wheel with controls to swap on but I'd have to mess with the clock spring. Now I just gotta find a double din, android auto, with a volume knob, 200-250 Price range. Wish me luck 🤞
From the factory, no. But you can get a mirror kit and plug it into your phone to directly mirror your phone. Then open RUclips on your phone and it'll show up on the Sony.
Where does that Sony USB cable from the back of this unit go, where do you keep it?
It’s all in the video
@@ChadMyers73

Your phone
@@ChadMyers73 Can you say "hey Siri" and your phone recognize it if you don't have the option to add a microphone?

How do you feel about the lack of a volume knob? does it bother you?
No not really because of my steering wheel controls.

05 Cummins. I’m running 63mm 5 blade, 50hp injectors, airdog, intake, 4” turbo back, built trans, triple disc. Any suggestions on the smarty s06 settings?
I think I would try HP tuning
Can you watch RUclips videos on it?
Unfortunately no
Been looking for a decent CarPlay radio for my 2012 super duty
I’m happy with this Sony so far.

How do you like the sound quality?
Sound quality is very nice I did it to my factory infinity speakers
