In this one we fit a Cooling fan override switch to Spike's Hayabusa to help the bike stay cool when sat in traffic or queuing.

I have an 04 LE Busa. Same overheating issue. I installed a 2nd fan on the radiator and increased the amperage on the fan fuse, Then when you refill the bike you to have to "burp" the engine after you fill it with antifreeze mix. Lean the bike while it's running way left and right. You need to get the air bubble out of the head. Once the fill tank level goes down after the leaning, top off the filler tank and you should be good.
Just splice two wires into the Temp sensor fan switch wires...slice and solder one on each... Then route up into a simple on off toggle switch and its all your done alot cheaper and easy enough .....Plus its cheaper I do like your videos though Dude alot....By the way where did you get your black screen from as i really like that also...keep um coming Dude nice one

The problem is your air inlet temp sensor. It gets hot when driving slow couse it’s above your engine. Making a low fuel air mixture. Creating more heat. You have to move the sensor to cooler position or put some isolation around it.
Much easier is just use good quality Coolant in Your bike and make sure that all sensors are workink correctly. My gen 1 busa been sitting in traffic for hours and never had this issue.
And ours was exactly the same brother until we started to do spain and portugal trips where temps out there were 35 to 40 degrees then we had probs 😬this little mods sorts thoughs type of temps.We never have the need to use it in the uk with our weather lol

I own a 04 busa and i had that problem before and i fixed with $26. To fix that problem all you have to do is go to your local auto parts store and get a radiator fan switch from a 1988 3 cylinder suzuki swift and a thermostat from a 1991 1300cc 4cylinder Suzuki esteem and swap those two things. By doing that your changing the fahrenheit degrees where the fan starts cooling. Now your fan will start working at 190 degrees instead of 221 degrees like the bike use to work from factory. And that’s it problem solved. No need to put extra buttons or nothing like that and the cooling system will run normally and not overheat any more 👌
Broo my hayabusa 2003 turn the fan on but dosnt turn off , i have to stop the engine and let the swtch on and then by 2 minutes the fan turns off , the coolant is blouble a little but the temperature is un mid not see hot, what you think ? Im thinking thermostate
noss el 5 estrellas probably its the radiator it might be dusty and it doesn’t let the coolant flow like it should I heard that testimony before from one of my guys that i hang out alot. Yo pienso que eres latino por que veo 5 estrella puede ser el radiador tapado y no circula bien hermano verificate que estoy seguro que tiene que ser eso y de una ves le haces los cambios termostato y fan switch 👍
I check the radiator and is clean , the Bike is only 5,898 miles , but it was stop , the thermoswit is new , the only thing i didnt check is the thermostate

@@jaymed5228 siii brother soy boricua , pero como te dije chekie el radiador y se ve fluyendo , el coolant switch se lo puse nuevo y todo esta bien me falta el termostato mano a ver , por que la motora no se calienta, osea no pasa de la mitad pero el avanico se queda prendio no baja la aguja de temperatura solo si la apago como te había dicho y pues la motora solo tiene menos de 6mil millas corridas , ni la he corrido casi desde que la compre cero millas

hello dear i have a hayabusa. i. start my ride after 20 moin maybeh. the water start boiling and allready i did my fun manual and the temrature is normal and water is boiling can u halep me ?
Maybe you have an air lock in the system, faulty thermostat or the wrong coolant mixture🤔
How did you get the headlight blue on that lends? Did you just paint it or what
It's a tinted headlight cover which can be found on ebay😉
Having these same problems with my 07 every time I stop it pumps out all the coolant
Change the coolant and make sure you have the correct mixture also make sure there is no air locks and it should be fine. The fan switch was an extra for when travelling to very hot places and works a treat👍

Looking for a need ur advise. i'm thinking to buy this custom 2000 Hayabusa- the engine got big bore, it's also got two manual fans with the switch. the normal temp gage don't work. So he got digital temp gage on the handle bar. When i test ride the bike, the digital temp gage was reading: 220 & when i stop it jump to 260, while two fans was on and running. but slowly it came down. IS THIS NORMAL TEMP ?
Hi the fans should kick in around 104 c which is around 220 f ! the bike should run alot cooler than that !!! something in my opinion is wrong and def not normal ! hope this helps

Ah one tip,
If your bike gets realy hot, don’t turn it off, keep your fan on. once it a bit cooled by the fan. then turn it off.
best is to turn off the bike once standing still for a red light or what ever.
