The best shortboard I have EVER had was from proctor and just ordered a twin from him in that vein of seeing how far I can push a twin. Really stoked to dial that world in
Ryan has a relieving perspective on surfboard design. Something that the mainstream surfboard industry will never understand. Every one of his boards that I have ridden have been magic.
Go watch Harley Ingleby surf a mid length probably the most underrated surfer on different size boards around, he's been surfing asymmetric ,mid lengths , mals and everything else for years.
Very interested interview. Its very interested that Dan Mann and guy share 2 important aspects. First, both of them look to shape for more common and unperfect waves that most os us have daily. Also, that they both have decided to experiment moving to widest point back between feet instead of in the middle. Cool!
Thanks man super appreciate you sharing this conversation, helping to expand by ever-growing understanding of this realm of riding surf craft super grateful brother!
