The best one is Flydigi Vader pro 2, it have so many customizations, you can change your weapon within 0.5 sec, that’s just the basic stuff, it offers so much more. It also have 6 additional buttons…

Yep. I have a Razer Wolverine Tournament edition as well. Best elite controller on the market. I used it for DS3 PvP and it’s still serving me well in ER.

love my elite 1 controller bc the paddles are in the best position for me. Elite 2 paddles are slightly different position and doesn't fit my fingers as well
Bought myself a Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition. Now I can swap weapons ingame like Steelovsky!
i finished ds, ds2, ds3, sekiro and elden ring on my xbox 360 controller and its now after a decade starting to break, i am very devastated

Any experience with 8bitdo controllers? They have extra buttons on the underside grips. Could be nice for binding to run.
I'm still using a busted ass 360 controller lol but shopping for a new one

Glad I saw this video before I went and bought the Xbox Elite Series 2. Just bought the last Razor Tournament Edition in stock :D The separated D pad buttons I really love .. im a nut case tho cause I also bought the Razer Wolverine Ultimate. Will share my thoughts after I use both :))
How does the Tournament Edition feel when compared to the Ultimate?
@@bigdobiz7378 I'd go with the Ultimate after using both. Ultimate just feels better in my hand and it has 2 extra buttons on the back. RT and LT have a steeper slope as well which naturally feels better for me.

Tell me more my dude. These paddles on the back seems quite weirdly placed. You have no problem reaching them?

Attaboy!! I’ve used razers tournament and ultimate as well as chroma v2 controllers. However I like the ultimate for its extra back buttons to be honest, chroma would be better but the placement of back/start buttons there is terrible
You don't feel like the paddles on ultimate and Chroma are placed in way less comfortable position in comparison to Wolverinte Tournament Edition?
I wanted to get myself Ultimate, but changed my mind when I've seen these paddles.
@@Steelovsky dude I started with the tournament, because I bought the ultimate and I hated the paddles. But then I decided to use it and for some weird reason I prefer them to even elite controller paddles now. I’m pretty sure the shape and placement is like that so it feels more natural to utilize the top 2 paddles as well. It’s weird but I just got really used to them!
I've been using the same controller for all ds 1-3 and sekiro and now i've already broke 3 of my controllers in elden ring
Have you tried the dualsense and/or the switch pro controller?
I've played with Dualsense, and to be fair - I was kinda disappointed. It seems like Sony doesn't improve ergonomics of their controller, but rather focus on - from competitive perspective - useless features like haptic rumbling. PS5 controller feels more or less the same like ps4 dualshock 4 to me.
I have no experience with switch pro controller, but I really like its height. It seems like clawing that controller should be quite comfortable even for people with short fingers.

Bongos is out of the scale. SSSSSSSSS tier to say the least.
I can't stand how the xbox-design controllers always have lopsided joysticks. I prefer the balanced even joysticks of playstation designs. Part of the reason why I just don't buy any xbox/xbox-format controllers even if they might be high quality.
how about the regular xbox one controller?
Haven't used it outside of few occasions in esport bars, but it uses pretty much same layout like my current controller.
I'd say I would rate it same as PS4 Dualshock 4. Is oki, but its design is far from perfect, as objective of both, Ps4 and Xbox One controllers are to lay good in hand with default grip. If you're doing more advanced gaming, I'd suggest to look for something better.

@@Steelovsky the Keys are mechanical and are much easier to press. The Controller is also great to hold and with the additional buttons, you can configure everything as you want. You can definitely play Elden ring better with it. I've already prepared a good combo for EL 😅 clear purchase recommendation 👌😊

You talk a lot about hard swapping. It’s so easy with those buttons on the back right?
I wouldn't say it's easier, as I don't use paddles for swapping at all.
That being said, by having run/roll on right paddle, you make it less likely you're going to fat finger something, as if you would hard swap with claw, so it may help with consistency of swaps.
@@Steelovsky Sony and Microsoft should provide a default controller with the buttons on the back so you can customize and assign what you want. If the goal of designing a controller is to be comfortable there is no reason not to do it. And the fps developers put something on their games to prevent the players to jump/shoot/aim. Because these controllers are expensive and they don’t last long.
I play on ps5 and if I buy the razer controller do you think I can use it?
Afaik they don't have ps5 compatible controller yet

I can do tier list for best mices I've ever used, but not sure if that's any relevant with ER's input lag :P
@@Steelovsky Ahah it was just a joke, I feel like I'm almost the only one playing with keyboard for soulborne pvp and I don't understand why everyone uses a controller instead

Didn't try Elite 2 yet, but I've heard it is better than first Elite in almost every way. Definitely going to test it out at some point :]

@@dvckenTo be fair, the default control scheme is garbage. Once rebound, kbm is fine - still not as good as controller for a lot of things like swaps, but no longer the awful trash the default scheme is.
