@@9395gb In an industry full of excessive surgery and focus on looks it's fair to say 3 people in the industry that avoided excessive surgery have aged beautifully. In fact a more natural aging should be celebrated so people stop chopping their body up for competitive reasons only to end up broke and disfigured.

@@kristalraya730 Okay, boomer. The beginning of modern cinema doesn't mean it was the "peak" of cinema. While amazing at the time, a lot of those movies were marred in censorship and technological constraints that make them a bore for most people to watch today. The best movies from the '70s to early 2000s are still immensely enjoyable now to people who were born much later, and make up the bulk of all the "best of all time" lists.
As an eighties kid who saw Beetlejuice in theaters (and dressed up as him for Halloween) I am extremely excited to see this sequel in the theater with my kids. I’ve always been a big Tim Burton fan, and I love all the actors involved. Can’t wait.
Same here. My girl and I were Beetlejuice and Lydia last Halloween and will wear the costumes again to see it in theaters opening weekend!

Although it’s been over 30 years between the movies when I saw the first trailer of beetlejuice beetlejuice it is as if we only left these characters five minutes ago .
He effortlessly eased right back into beetlejuice.
He’s a legend in his own right .
You can't replace Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice. He's the only one that can play the part.

Originally stand-alone movies from the 80s finally getting sequels now can feel especially promising. Certainly in reflection of Blade Runner 2049 and Top Gun Maverick. Beetlejuice 2 can be another timely affirmation of how revisiting a vintage universe can still nourish our movie magic.

As soon as I found out that there was going to be a sequel, it's as if I couldn't wait another minute for it, despite having managed to wait three-and-a-half decades already. Several months is nothing compared to that, but the super excited and impatient little kid in me -- who couldn't wait for the first movie to come out on VHS -- made a special return just for this. I'm just ecstatic that I'll be seeing this one in theaters! I honestly cannot express how giddy I am about it.

Home Alone 1&2, series of unfortunate events
We saw a special screening of the new one at a brew house movie theater. They made special beer and drinks and a whole meal that was themed with the movie. We LOVED it. Definitely see it in a movie theater, it’s worth it!

All 4 of the folks in this interview have been doing what they do so well for 40+ years. It's sad to me that the number of up and comers to take there places aren't really there. Entertainment is really going to be hurting in 10-15 years.

This is awesome - a real sequel with core cast members, not a crappy remake that no one wanted in the first place.
I was 11 when Beetlejuice came out and as a kid - it was perfection. I can't be the only person who also watched the cartoon.

As an 80’s child I can say these wonderfully talented performers have aged well, leaving behind so many entertaining moments. And the 2 actresses are still stunning, in a way demanding respect. Since I’m a guy, I hope I’m certified to say lol most of us appreciate and admire that kind of beauty and talent…inside and out. All you guys continue being great 👍🏻

Practical effects win over CGI like Catherine said, it’s all about style and fun and honestly it makes it feel more real by not being perfect in a way
I think she described it best, "perfectly imperfect". That's what made the 80's movies and their special effects so great and beloved.
