@@hip-hophistorybuff Absolutely the way I look at it and I know it's of subject regarding this project.. But if there was no Muggs people like Alchemist and Dj Lethal wouldn't be as successful they were like Dj Muggs Apprentices
@@hip-hophistorybuff Yeah bro. He's dropped a lot of projects over the years. He did one with Futurewave a couple years ago that I like. It's called Gorgeous Polo Sportsmen. He also dropped a tape with Daniel Son a few months ago called Northside. That's a solid project, too. His best stuff's been dropped since the mid to late 2010s...but lately he's def gotten better, 💯
@@jessesteele7269 Okay remember hearing about those and I recall him having polo themed songs and titles so that kinda caught my attention lol. Just never felt the urge to really tap in until Muggs.
I agree with 4 mics bruh. Reading the other comment, he is sort of like a Canadian Joey badass. I think his best project was bakin soul, it’s the one he did with cookin soul behind the boards. Definitely 90’s vibes on that one.
@@TheMicklachey Yeah that’s who came to mind forsure bro. I’m going to check out the Bakin Soul joint. Good look on that recommendation. Did this project meet your expectations?
@@hip-hophistorybuff Bro, I've been listening to this more & more and I'm going 4.5 mics.....You know what I love about Raz? He to me, sounds more like a 90's rapper than any of the other mc's of today. He reminds me of 90's Wu Tang The flow and sound gives me those vibes
@@obeii1805 I didn’t know a lot about him, but he has a decent size following. I would say after listening to a couple projects he might give off Joey Badass meets Bishop Nehru vibes. He’s his own artist of course, and doesn’t sound like them exactly but you might get that feel from his music.
Dope project and Dj Muggs never disappoints with thr production
@@jordanolafson80 Always can count on Muggs

A solid conceptual body of work from the rugged veteran and a true mc with the special vision. Just imagined Guru Jazzmatazz and Muggs toghether

Yeah! It was pretty much what I expected. I agree with you as far as the beats. Some of muggs’ best in a while
