This makes me cry as a Single Mother with two teenage Son's and neither of them have their Father's. One Father is deceased and the other just left his life. I tried working thing's out with him and he chose drinking and women over his Son. After almost a year of dealing with that I just couldn't do it no more. His alcoholism and abuse wasn't something I wanted my Son's to learn. I'd rather raise my Son's myself and struggle than have any man teach them how to abuse women.
As a 30 year old man with 6 kids, 5 boys and one daughter this kills me!!!! This is extremely relatable. I lost my dad at 7 to suicide, he missed all my birthdays even before that. I barely have any memory of him anymore. I'm 14 now, striving that one day I'm gonna be a dad, and I'm gonna treat my kid(s) right, and I'm spending the rest of my life with my amazing girl.
