One of the most underrated artists of the century
" I am nice but Royce ...He is on a whole other level . I get anxiety from rapping alongside him and if he is not in your list i'm sorry but i can't take your opinion seriously " Eminem
The Controversity Almuddy is too
Brandon Ayong never heard that interview but I felt that from Em whenever they rap together. Like Em is going 110 and Royce 90 but it equals out every time
He's DEFINITELY a SCARFACE, one of the most underrated in the hip hop industry
He will always be in my top 5 with Styles P and Jadakiss
Man their interviews are 10x’s better when they actually like the artists instead of just talking about the gossip
Greenboyz89 No Angela 🤷🏿♂️
Marcus Coffey 🤣😂✌🏻 lets be fair tho, Angela tends to disagree with them, and Charlamaine tends to contribute in that aspect at times. They all love gossiping. Nothing to do with Angela.
Greenboyz89 oh I think it’s better without Yee 😆 but it is a dope interview
rumor has it rumor has it “”””
But unfortunately the gossips gets the likes
16:59 lyric Breakdown
18:37 talking little bit about Eminem
18:51 Nick Cannon situation
20:13 charlamagne talking about Eminem like a racist 😂
22:08 about yelawolf situation
23:50 about Detroit situation
24:40 about Tee Grizzley situation
27:42 about kash doll
30:00 & 33:40 about his Dad
31:00 about marriage & his wife (about Loyalty)
34:17 about album title (allegory)
And rest of the time he talking about general things, slaughterhouse,HipHop,kids, family and stuff...
I hope this can be useful 😊👍🙏
Chandu Gonuguntla So no Lord Jamar talk😁?
Jerome Brooks nope 👎🙇🏻🤷♂️
Here's a like for the Effort
Chandu Gonuguntla damn champ! Salute
May god bless you!!!
Respect for not adding “Eminem” in the title. Royce deserves his respect
Yeah, but why you have j cole profile picture. He trash
yeah I like Em but Royce is dope enough for his own name to be click bait
@@MrShaiya96 eminem would like to have a word with you.
Agreed. Charlamagne of course couldn’t stop himself from bringing Em up though.
@@MrShaiya96 J Cole aint trash you dummy. If you dont like him then cool but if you think he is trash your opinion is irrelevant.
Most importantly he's almost eight years sober and his skills have gotten better since then. Much respect to him for that change.
He sobered up and realized theres more to rap about than his gun and his dick 😂😂😂
THIS PART ❣️❣️❣️
The Book of Ryan was a dope album as well.
Man it was nice. Overlooked and underrated.
Layers is dope too.
Death is Certain is an underrated gem.
IF YOU LISTEN TO REAL HIP-HOP
ruclips.net/video/lkpX4idPjrE/видео.html
J. P. This album and Layers are the dopest.
All Royce need is a fedora and a pack of Newports and we got a podcast 😭
ZaddyGhost I’m weak 😂
😂😂😂
Yo
🤣
Microphone check one, two, what is this 😂😂😂
His new album is undeniably flames 🔥 he won me over, also his last album was dope
your opinion is undeniably garbage since you obviously been sleeping way too long lil buddy
All his albums are dope. Shouldn’t have taken you this long
Royce is simply legend. Recognized or not, his contribution to hip hop will always have an undying imprint. Bless to all those that feel and know the same
Lol no he's not
Zac Smith obviously you need to be educated do some research, you probably loosely use that word on wack niggas like young boy or lil baby or young thug.......loser
Definitely. When it comes back around to people wanting to hear quality skill & content Royce will be one of the guys those future MCs will have to study.
@@DJBANnumb3r1 Facts Lil baby trash asf
That Goat ring is hard. Royce so underrated glad he’s getting all respect and props he deserves.
almost the most expensive knuckle duster
"I'm not standing next to Nothing I ain't sure about" That's Prolific!
Dollface Couture only because it validates your feelings for Eminem
Nah... thats a fact of life... one Royce articulated masterfully. Nothing to do with Eminem for me... btw not here for your projections either...
Top of the most underrated rappers of all time. He's a true MC. Lyrical assassin.
Royce so beyond being a “rapper” now. Dude is damn near a hip hop prophet. One of the Goats in Hip Hop, there’s more than one, and most are underrated.
Facts!
The real deal real shit!
Royce way past the rapper level he a NC
Goats?? Lmao no
Is that why he's wearing the goat ring??
Royce dressed like a therapist.
Yeah lol Looks clean
Shit with that freestyle from LA Leakers, he just talked the rap game out of depression
😂
Like an adult.
Lol
Man it’s so refreshing hearing someone that doesn’t have an inflated ego and has things to say that layman can relate to. Big up big homie Royce
To skip the many ads, fast forward to the end, then rewind to the beginning.

You as well 🙏🏾
Same to you my brother
You as well!
Right back at you brother
Royce has been in my personal Top 10. And I still believe "The Book of Ryan" should have been nominated for a Grammy last year!
The book of ryan....was decent .... but it wasnt poppin....he will always be king of mixtapes / mixcd
Royce is on OG status so young Mcs need to reach out to him for information and knowledge that he wants to guide you thats to me its so genuine Thanks Royce for Allegory that i listen everyday all day.
I love seeing royce all over the map getting the recognition he deserves
Shit is making me so happy.. a God tier lyricist on the breakfast club.. I fucking love it.
True
Love to see it!
Royce is dressing his for his role and position in life. Its called clarity. When you know better , you do better, and look better. Notice every high powered artist looks the part. Much Respect to this grown powerful black man.
Clacci38 acting
Royce and 50 cent is the only time this clown CTG dont hate on Eminem while they there...
I paid that attention
He don't want to get jumped 😂
I said the same thing lol
I peeped that shit too lmao. Nigga be on his best behavior with that shit. Royce would put him in his place. 50 would just whoop his ass.
he don't want that problem lol
Royce been NICE . . . Who knew the original "RENEGADE" (Jay & Em) was with Royce & Em first?
Royce cadence was basically eminem's dead wrong cadence. That's why it was easier to take him off and added Jay. That's why it's so dumb that renegade is debated on who killed who. Doesnt matter. It was em song. Jay z just filled it in and killed it. Jay z and em in their prime shouldnt be debated
@@rogso6581 facts
Royce actually killed it
@@WarrenGdog28 I know that verse raw but it was an easy swap
Do you have that song?!
He does not get the recognition he deserves
Well it's hard he's best friends with hip hop founder eminem and the bar is held high 😡🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️😡😡😡😡😡😡
great ness Eminem is not the founder of shit
great ness wow lmao
I believe half of that is by design, half is just the climate of music. Royce is a recluse, doesn’t go out much, stays to himself, doesn’t take his social media as gospel.. he kinda repels the potential shine he’d usually get. Mix that with the substance of his music & what all the streamers gravitate toward.. they don’t click like that. But us real ones know.. & I think that’s all Royce cares about is the quality of his music & those who truly appreciate him. Them fickle dudes don’t even belong around here.
@I Am you. eminem turned rap into poetry he is the david blaine of rap it's just magical.
I love that Royce and Eminem constantly work on their art and their craft to get better with every album. It shows they actually care about their projects
Eminem last 2 albums were dope. Quit hating
@MrSpliffstarz Relapse was dope.
MrSpliffstarz Revival was dope lyrically, people just weren’t used to hearing Em with a message (even though he made Toy Soldiers, Stan and others) even though they say he never has a message.
Nathaniel Seaberry is lyrics the only criteria to make an album good?
john wayne I said the album was good lyrically, the message was good, some of the songs didn’t hit so it hurt the album. It wasn’t his best album but, it was five times better than most of the albums that came out that year.
if I had a dime for everytime Charlagmane says " therapy" I would be hella rich
Getting on my nerves with that shit. We all don't need it
Yeah I think because he talks about in his back. Nothing wrong with that but does become to redudant.
Than you could finally afford to go get some
Khol Milk he gets so excited when he hear someone other than himself is in therapy lol
CTG understands that therapy is very important and it is
His last album captured my musical soul. (Hotep!) Can't wait to hear this one. This brother is such a gift. I wish more people supported him.
This kind of conversation, this don't happen at this level, and the sheer insider info feel of this interview, this is a Master class.
Royce is one of those artist who have made not just an impact on hip hop. But a mark on hip-hop
The fact that Royce keeps getting better with time is scary, sheeeeesh!
Mannn.. Royce's press run/promo for this album as been impeccable! Putting in that work!!
Glad to see Royce's growth reach this level, he's always been a lyrical monster but with the time, growth & things that he's overcame it's a testament for anybody to keep pushing & better yourself. Salute to the OG Royce!!
Wish this interview was longer, Royce is a true hip hop artist who has such a unique style and delivery. On top of that, the brother is an OG now and moves like one.
This interview is one the best ones. Once you realize what’s important like parenthood and learning from mistakes. Being sober changes life’s and your whole perspectives
Royce is a damn legend. This guy is amazing at so many damn things and even after YEARS of rhyming, not only is he BETTER, but he's still consistent and never slacked. It's miraculous.
Easily the most underrated lyricist EVER.
I've always been a casual fan of Royce, but I never listened to an entire Royce album until now. Dope as hell!!
This session of the expression of love for their wives is great. Growth in life is important and working on and improving yourself are signs of wisdom.
So much luv for the brotha, Royce... I've been listening to the album since last week, a definite elevation and awareness of self... Great interview!!!💜🤎🖤
This second act of Royce’s career is amazing. Shows how you can evolve as an artist
DJ Envy, you make me cry when you talk about your relationship with your wife. That's beautiful. I'm glad that we get to hear about relationships like yours... gives me hope. Thank you ❤️ #Bernie2020 #ShahidVsPelosi
Becoming better through sobriety in hip hop..cheers and respect to Royce.
Royce sure does educate on his lyrics and never changes who he is. it is something to truly appreciate.
Speaking your truth but having someone else involved in your truth.....such a resonant part of the conversation with me.
Growth is a beautiful thing when it's given time and space to occur 😉👍🏾
Royce eff'd my head up with the ice cream truck song origin 🤯 . I've never heard of Harry c Browne before now. I'm disgusted, but not suprised when it comes to this racist nations history. Royce is the truth lyrically and intellectually ✊🏽💯
His recent L.A Leakers freestyle that just dropped few days ago is straight-up fire, just raw uncut intricate bars. I loved it. Royce is being appreciated and recognized more which is so satisfying to see.
This was a very good interview. I love seeing men mature and have their music reflect it.
Royce be having them BARS. 🔥
3 mins in and I can already tell this is going to be a dope interview.
Thankful for Royce and his contribution to music! It’s artists like him that remind us to stay grounded and to grow on a personal level. It’s hard to accept spiritual enlightenment when you’re in an industry that’s becoming more shallow and superficial each day. I will def be listening to him even more now! 💯💯💯💯
You gotta love listening to royce talk, the amount of articulation and intelligence behind what he speaks on is boggling.
Shout out to Royce! Detroit is a different kind of tough.
This interview was a great message all us black men should hear.

@@cycthegreat cause that's what Royce's target demographic is, you dumbass

This is one of those albums that come along once in awhile, that has so much knowledge and feeling involved that you don’t even appreciate how much your enjoying it until you’ve listened to every track and think, Damn it’s over and it leaves you wanting more, great album back to back classics I’m expecting the next will be the same.
Royce Da 5'9" is so underrated and humble. His media run for The Allegory album has been amazing!
I could listen to Royce speak ALL DAY
Highly intelligent human being.
As he preaches reparations for slavery.
Pleasantly surprised when I saw Eminems name wasn't used in the interview title. Royce finally getting that shine he's been deserving :)
Awesome show!! Real Black men Talking!! We need more of that kind of sharing and caring!!
I can honestly say, this was the first time I listened to a Royce album front to back....Woooow! I can say, this is a refreshing album....respek! Im sure he wont sell millions, but this is a platinum feeling! Salute Royce!
Do yourself a favor and go listen to "Book of Ryan". In my opinion, I think it's better than "The Allegory".
Royce Da 5'9 looking like Dame Dash mixed with a bit of Scarface the Rapper LOL 😃
Also mixed with Jermaine Dupri and a bowling ball
@@PhillyDjHook 🤔😂🤣🤣

Dame Dash, Scarface, you obviously don't know nothing about Royce or even Dash and Face
I am so proud of Royce. His personal growth continues to inspire. He deserves so much more credit for his art.
Royce words are powerful in his lyrics and interviews. This man is always 💯 A Icon & legend.
Royce is FOURTY TWO. Understand this, I'm 32 and remember so many people telling me do you really plan on rapping your entire life? Absolutely. The older I get, the more I find myself leaning towards spoken words. Nonetheless, I respect this man for bettering himself. I know pain on the deepest of levels, yet joy at it's peaks. And I plan to share it all, while giving my all. Live your lives, y'all. Keep God first. And protect your loved ones; by being there for them, while having the willingness to build your community via local relationships, that can/could possibly and eventually, move towards a much brighter future, globally.

Another classic
It's amazing how much Royce has grown as a human being. He is truly a living legend.
I love what Royce is doing with hip hop and being a positive role model for the youth! Congratulations on your sobriety too @Royceda59
We need more dialogue like this. I feel enlightened. Great way to start my day.
I had never heard of this Royce Da 5'9. I just listened and became a instant follower.
Royce is one of the few veteran artists who still put out real, thematic albums.
Love this dude,he's on top of his game now more than ever

I still listen to Book of Ryan.. Phenomenal album. Haven’t heard Allegory yet but I’ll definitely listen today
Both great albums.
@@reggiechambers1939 I wouldnt say Allegory is great. Production kinda weak.
Shiddd I thought production was phenomenal for most of the songs.
@@reggiechambers1939 production was on point especially Pendulum FUBU and Upside down

This album is on repeat every song has substance . Congrats Royce!
Royce dropping names and gems this entire interview. Respect.
His last 3 or 4 albums have been amazing. Allegory is another one. And the fact that he produced the entire album and still rapped his ass off says alot about Royce
Joshua McRae Layers, PRhyme 1&2, Book of Ryan, & Allegory. Royce has put his foot in his last 5 albums ass. All while dropping “Trust the Shooter” & “Bar Exam 4” mixtapes
