Bruh royce be in 100 interviews in the past week. He out here hustling
jes2lift seriously though! 😂 he’s grinding to promote this album
his beats are still below average
Name of the game
new album just dropped...
lol...
III
@Versati1e Entertainment Remember most rap "fans" dont give a shit about lyrics anymore... unfortunately...
10 000 years later as student do the History of Hip-Hop, i can hear the whole auditorium trying to decipher Royce's poetry.
this man is indeed Legendary.
Probably one of the best MC out there. Criminally underrated. His last few projects (Prhyme 1 & 2, Book of Ryan and Layers are masterpieces). Before that he give us Death is certain... One of the most slept hip-hop albums Ever. The guy is a living legend. God bless him.
This Is Boone Indeed!!!
Hot take: Royce is better than Eminem. Or... at least his last 3 albums are way better than Em's last 3. (Imo of course)
Success is Certain, another slept on project
This dude really said that 5'9 is one of the best. 😂😂😂😂
Da_Most_Shady he’s definitely one of the best his pen game is crazy underrated
Death is Certain is when I literally fell in love with lyricist. Trap music is coo when I'm getting ready for the club, but a dope lyricist gets me ready to work, driving, workout, or do something where I have to use my brain.
nimrod619 man that album is a gem, u listen to it today you don’t skip any and I mean any track!! That shit went ppls heads cos he wasn’t attached to Em then, it was after there was that tension btwn them, I still have that cd man, you know what I m going to play that shit now just because u said it! 🙅🏾♂️🤷🏽♂️
I'm looking up at that CD in my visor right now.... the game needs more intelligent conscious rappers like Royce. King of Kings!
Me too death is certain and build and destroy are diamonds in the rough
Royce is one of the smartest most respectful most loyal most everything artists in the rap game. I appreciate his fashion sense, the respect he showed "Big Boy's station". He handled this interview like a real stand up man. I love his persona, idgaf about race, I love what he stands for and how he talks to and about his people. Thank you for working this hard to stay in the spotlight and being able to speak to us and entertain us. Thank you Royce and I hope every interviewer shows you the respect you deserve G. Peace.
Big ups on thus comment, I meet this dude up at NIU he been the same since day one. Even with what he's been through the same dude.
man royce’s interviews are always satisfying.
I can't understand why Royce isn't more popular, he's got lyrics ,style content I just don't get it.
Bille Let’s face it, the industry doesn’t want truth
Bille He doesn’t have an image that’s mainstream. Eminem blew up from shock factor and controversy, Royce could’ve done that but he didn’t
The industry.
True they want weak content, guns, drama, weak people to control what they say put out or instead off uplifting people . They just want bull shit and shit women to twerk too Overall hip hop is sad now adays it’s watered down
and what truth is that exactly
Eminem a real niqqa. Everyone needs a friend like him.
You do know 'niqqa' translates to engagement in some language
C-word!!!
Lol
Ummmmm no he white.
@@thathandleistakentrythisone Oh and one more thing,it does not matter.
Other than Dr Dre I don’t recall Em doing a back & Forth song with anyone in a while but Royce so that tell u how much Royce mean to him.
Gursimran Singh Bakshi yes,em doesnt do many features anymore and him and Royce was beefing and he went back and scooped him and dropped D12
Em writes Dre's lyrics dude so that dont count
@Gursimran Singh Bakshi Bad Meets Evil: Hell the Sequel
@Keith Dupont that wasn't really a back and forth, but it could have been!
Album or song? Check Caterpillar with joyner Lucas
I just watched 3 different Royce interviews that all just came out and each he said it’s a honor and a privilege to be here. He’s a real one.
in almost every Royce interview there's "Eminem" in the title!
just to get clicks though. the interviewers have the deceny to barely mention him though
They're close friends, And people want to Know more about Eminem since he rarely does interviews. And I bet Royce doesn't mind.
@@boooozeed no, they mention Em in the interview out of nowhere just so they can put it in title to get clicks.
Yeah on one hand it is Sad on the Other Royce Gets more attention through that Which he deserves
Eminem's the biggest artist in America, you think they're not gonna ask his friends about him,it's no disrespect,im sure in every eminem interview they ask em about dr dre.
Royce is so wise and intelligent the way he spoke about life I was drawn into this conversation. He deserves so much respect.
Awesome interview as usual. I thoroughly enjoy them and I love when artists are real about their lives and craft.
I’ve been through a lot lately, Royce really helped me with this interview.
He is very inspirational person, this interview along with his album are gonna be on repeat.

What an inspiring young man. Every time he speaks, I learn. No non sense about him. Incredible interview.
I'm a hip hop head, and I've loved this Man since 99, He's my spirit animal.
This is one of the most intriguing, powerful, life altering interviews I've ever heard. Thank you Royce.
Royce is the first person i can 100% relate to when it comes to his energy schedule. Doing things at night is just different for us than anyone can understand.
Can we talk about his jacket for a minute? I'm not jealous, you're jealous 😝
I love the glasses more
Gay?
@@trutop9s103 and?
Jacket is dope and most likely ain't cheap.
It look like it’s inside out
This interview was beautiful... I felt the energy throughout the 42 minutes.
Thank you for this 100% honesty and your words of wisdom. Facts!!! Stay Strong!
“Anything you do, you have to have some level of self discipline”. Things don’t just happen because you show up. Putting healthy habits into practice creates self discipline. You have to start easily repeatable tasks that help you to create habits and then develop them from there.
Its always a great day in the neighborhood when Big Boy is kickin it with a friend
Love Royce! Such a great conversation about hip hop and just life!
"The Allegory" is the BEST WAKE UP CALL I'VE HEARD IN HIP-HOP/RAP Since "Let's get Free" Dead Prez!!!
Thank you 5'9'
Aw yes i'm about to listen to this all day then! Because Let's get free is Air to me.
Royce is a goat a real word smith glad he is still on the mic
Mellow Melice “word”
He's Tru goat dogg
Yeah. He's a true goat
2 decades of rapping, THAT’S INSANE. I love that he’s only improved with time and is getting involved in the production side of things too.
@@dr.lecter8818 yup yup he loves hip hop it's life
Royce always speaking some truth! Love his interviews! And the new album is fire! My favourites are FUBU and upside down!
Great interview and Royce album very informative TY.
As a Michigan native myself, I am glad to know that there’s real Hip Hop coming from the Glove! One of (if not the best) lyricists ever! Salute Another instant classic for the skits alone. The music is amazing and unapologetically AUTHENTIC HIP HOP! 💯
Damn right 💯 michigander time
Royce: I dont think there will ever be a time when thought provoking hip hop doesent matter, because there has never been a time when thought provoking art doesent matter.
Big boi: Aye you ever been to an escape room Royce?!
I caught that too. Terrible transition. 😅
😂😂
Terrible segue but I think Royce saying that made Big Boy think, "Damn he's intelligent...I bet he'd kill it at an escape room..." Lmao
@@JahRandom na he was already tryna interrupt him what that shit when Royce was sayin his thing lol
"Andre Antwan Patton the only one"
Great interview!
Major respect for Royce, This interview made me appreciate this man even more.
Royce always "droppin knowledge"
Great interview, a lot of knowledge in this video
Beautiful Interview! Might have even changed my life

Royce you are to me one of the best to ever do it, but what I love about is your energy.
this the greatest interview i’ve ever watched
Great interview!!!
So interesting to hear the other side of this game. Props to you guys
Powerful Interview 🙏
I really like this interview this is a good one
Great talk!
9:20
Royce: The album speaks a lot about perspective. I'm intrigued by perspective these days.
The skit with Eminem in the album is called Perspective.
Adi Dhar I loved that skit. I thought Em’s point of view was really refreshing. Everybody’s got advantages and everybody’s got disadvantages and we don’t get to choose, we’re just born into it
Eminem talk @ 22:22
appreciated
But also listen to the whole interview so much more wisdom. U won't be disappointed.
There's no wisdom in being anti-vax.
You Em stans need to chill and appreciate Royce's album. Its his time not Em..smh
AARVYY then go to Eminem videos then Stan
Best interview I’ve seen in a while. Extremely insightful. Respect to Royce da 5’9.
Nuff Respect, success peace and happiness to top five dead or alive an still cooking, Royce da 5'9!!! God level emcee bar-work!!!!!
Royce Da 5'9" is so underrated and deserves more props for what he has done in Hip Hop. He's made songs with some of the best and continues to be humble about it! A lot of artists have done far less and let their ego destroy them!
Really enjoyed this interview damn some interesting shit!

Royce, one of the most underrated rappers ever
Eskilate the best
I wish someone would do a list of the most underrated artist
Eskilate it’s crazy that his name isn’t mentioned more in top 50 lists
@@dr.lecter8818 lyrically you could argue hes in the top 5
For me royce is in my top 5 list . Wayy up there ..
