I would say protect Royce at all cost, but I feel like he don’t need/want anyone’s protection #GOAT
Is this trick trick?
That 2 finger GOAT ring is dope!
He's good
He's definitely one of the greats.
@Imperial stats why you try and kill him greggy!
Royce is by far one of the greatest lyricist ever he’s so underrated album is fire 🔥
Bruh he's underrated but please... Don't overrate him either
Agree completely he is underrated but only because of who he is surrounded by mainly EM anybody with that monster over them isnt gonna get the credit that is due but Royce is definitely coming into his own light as of recent hes starting to get his dues
Jay Electronica said Royce n Ab-Soul the greatest RN and I can’t agree more.
I don’t agree with all his advice on the album but I appreciate & Respect him being a grown ass man n setting an example of giving back
@@liamcorrea3417 in his opinion he is lol
Royce Da 5'9" promo/press run has been impeccable. He's been putting in that work.
iRepGhana Nah FR
Meaning interviews? What else he been on
@@AustinNovel yeah . Every hip hop major platform u can think of
Royce's press run, content I signed up for
"Oh okay, we should put Jesus Christ on there too" haha I love Royce so much! Such an incredible artist and man! Great interview!
Definitely!
JC would body everybody. Be like "What's a Rap God to the actual God"
That sobriety story is incredible. Felt that heavy
I have been struggling with addictions for years.. whenever i hear this legend speaking about it i dont know what it is but i always get this super motivating feeling to never give up and that 1 day im gonna do it! Thanks Royce 👊
All the best in your fight with addiction. I am not an addict but also hearing stories of addicts it give me motivation not to be one
@@kelvinotumba7364 thanks man
I’m 6 days of no drinking man you can do it I was drinking a 6 beers and a bottle of Jack Daniels a night
Royce & em dropped the hottest albums of 2020 thanks for blessing us 🔥
Bryan Hinkle Im so glad I can finally enjoy a modern day Eminem project.
Last time was MMlp2 that record was great after that he really waivered a bit.
This man is criminally underrated. Ofcourse he gets his respect and then some in the game, cause he demands it and deserves it, but not that he cares, but he deserves to be on the mainstream level/success of the rappers that transcend...such as Em, Jay, Kendrick, Pac....true lyricists and artists....regardless, I think over the last 2 years, people and even the game to a larger extent, are starting to FINALLY take notice. Royce is amongst the best to ever do it. EASY makes my top 5.
Hassan Nabih pu had me till the top five part lol. To each his own tho.. Top five is saying ALOT! Royce mad underrated tho def!
I’m currently 26 days completely sober, no alcohol or cigarettes
Proud of you. You can do this keep it up one day at a time
Hell yeah brother, you got this ✌
That’s great, I really hope you push on 💪🏽
This Royce press run for The Allegory is goat. Almost enjoying these interviews as much as the album.
Definitely
It's always refreshing to see someone own up to their mistakes rather than blame others or make excuses
Damn no one brings up Joell when they talk slaughterhouse. He's a beast and needs to be mentioned. Wonder if there was a falling out.
He'll be on crooks corner soon
No falling out. Royce talked not too long ago how everything is all good just all 4 are doing their own thing
@@MrMack1622 , yep. Plus Royce was on Joell's last project as well. Then Crooked I uploaded his verse to the same song. Then all 3 of them were just on Em's album a month ago. Joell for some reason is just the least in the media among them. I think it's just more his decision than anything. He was on Sway's show for an interview last year I believe or tail end of 2018, if it wasn't last year for his last album. But I didn't see him out there much more than that. Just the way it is.
You got Joe and Crooked both have pretty well known podcasts that are on YT and Royce has been doing the most music work between them all in recent years and been pushing this album extremely hard on the media front, which is great. Joell just comparatively, seemingly isn't doing as much on the media side. Maybe things will change or maybe he just don't want to be in the spotlight for the moment. *shrugs*
Thanks for clarifying guys. Last project I bought of Joell was his album with illmind. Glad they're on good terms. Hope they can continue slaughter without Joey.
@@Black_Excellence as for as quick (aka Joell Ortiz) u gotta remember he just got married and released his album Monday and has been on a high since the Mona Lisa project.. Joell Ortiz you can find a lot of the work that he's doing on Bandcamp with mellow music group they out here in Tucson
Royce is my favorite MC and my sobriety guide. Strong smart brother! Stay up Royce!
one of the best liricist out there, real recognize real. no mumble raps over here god bless royce
An amazing interview all in all. I like 👂 to

"there is nothing like kids, ...they are the key of happiness"
Oh man I’m struggling rn thank you Royce
Thank you Royce, your story was perfect
Royce definitely a legend.
Royce’s new album -The Allegory is incredible
Royce 5 9 is just a good human being and a treasure to our society and the rap game as a whole.
I know all the famous guys hate doing radio interviews but I'm so glad to hear Royce every chance we get.
not going to lie, I discovered him cause of eminem years ago. and em is not even close to my favorite rapper (I'm white). that being said, Royce has a skill set a lot of rappers fail. HE EDUCATES. he has an old school 90s feel to him, it is so rare now a days.
James Sweeney No one asked if you were white.
Sunday School Dropout yes you did.
Royce is just amazing on every level🔥
Royce Is one of the nicest Artists anyone will ever meet.
I jus watched all the royce interviews haha cant wait till i get in this game
Royce underrated as HELL!!!
Dope Interview R.I.P Big Proof And Bugz
DvE 313! Album is fire so this promo run is necessary!
I wish i got to hear a big punisher eminem & royce 59 track .....in the 90s that would be a madness
0:33 “9 NICKEL!!”
Royce: Why you call me that?
😂😂😂
Noooo, rewind it! He called him "Media Royce." 😂😂😂
Sean Brady that’s still lame 😂
I agree hahaha
Nickel Nine???? 😂 hahaha
And still ain’t answer it. He just switched the 5’9 around lame ass
Man...one of the FEW people I would want Ebro to be there for..its Royce
This press run is crazy!!
Lit ep.
BIG FACTS 27:43.. RIP J DILLA AND PROOF! DETROIT LOST TWO LEGENDS IN THE SAME YEAR!!
One of the Goats
The primo talk has some amazing insight. 🤘🤘
Nice one Royce
Inspirational
THIS IS AMAZING
I been following all these interviews
Yo, Honestly 💯 Royce's, Eminem's, Trick Trick's, Big Sean's love for Detroit make ME🌞 feel like I'm from Michigan and I'm from San Diego ✔
Bless to the boss Royce!
I almost had my son taken away from me and that moment Royce is describing in the hotel room.. is a real thing. I had that same feeling. The same thoughts about it headed towards a eulogy. Thank you Royce.
God Bless him!!!
ROYCE IS THA KING. 👑. 🤘
lets fucking go Royce, what a legend
Im watching all of his interviews I hope to have a conversation with Royce one day for real
Album is fire , an the D man so much talent
I felt this I jus went through that 2019 however I beat my court cases both of em s/o my lawyer but I feel where he coming from it’s an eye opener and cost a lot of money
Album is his best yet
Royce is goat 🔥 🔥 he on that top tier lyricist!!!!!!!!! Fohhhhh shooo
Royce's promotion game for this album has been crazy
Roddy Rod cuz he shoulda got that nomination for Book of Ryan
@@jerome49465 a classic forsure
Important. Iconic.
Royce the man
I honestly think Ryan Daniel Montgomery is one of the best role models not just in hip hop but in general 💯 he's in my top 5 best artist to ever touch a mic in all genres of music 🐐
Fax
Proof was a good dude. Last time we saw him up in Sevin in Pontiac May 05. Guy bought the bar out and was so nice.
Also... Shout out to Rosenberg ans Laura for an actual IN DEPTH INTERVIEW with royce and not just the surface level, bullshit questions. Dope!!!
Dealing with the consequences of my 2nd DWI right now and struggling to accept that i have to give it up. Your album and your story is helping. One day at a time.
You got this!! God bless.
I have heard Allegory over 30+ times already
Adrian Huskey same here
How is it man ? Like which song should i start with
chaitanya sharma what kinda question is that? put on track 1 and let the album ride tf
chaitanya sharma Mr. Grace
chaitanya sharma you wanna know how it is yet you ask which random song to start on if you wanna know how his project is sit and listen from beginning to end the way an album is meant to be heard
I like hearing what Royce says, he’s real asf
GOAT !!!! 🐐 👑
G.O.A.T 🐐
Royce is everywhere
"He told me to say my abcs and I sang my abcs" :D
Drop that freestyle flex!
Trick trick... 🔥
I love when people give danny brown his credit. Hes so fuckin underrated bro its crazy
That Goat ring tho🐏
Royce been doing interviews this month like I’ve been switching socks
Press run for the album .. he old head tryna get this young rapper money can't knock him 💯
Royce one of the best in the game.
“we might as well get Jesus Christ on there” 😂😂😂😂
Crazy, i've never seen Royce go this crazy on a promotional run, i'm all for it! If you told me in 2004 that Royce would still be this hot, i would've been like I TOLD YOU SO!
G.O.A.T
last part of the interview for Detroit you forgot to include Black Milk
Royce 💯💯💯💯
I felt that part where he talked about the grey area of sobriety
Jesus Christ ft. Royce da 5'9", Eminem, Nas and JayZ - I WANT THAT!
I definitely purchased the album! Make sure you all do the same!
BIG PROOF FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish I could sit down with someone like Royce..I can't get sober on my own
ROYCE AND JAYZ WE NEED THAT ON WAX
Lejames Hurii A Royce, Jay, Nas & Em song would be enormously amazing for lyrical, content bearing, wholesome, worthy of listening to hip hop.
@NoNoNoNii I agree Jay lyrically on not on the other three level
Big facts!
@Brand Gadfly Jay has the best career of any rapper in the history of rap but when it comes to lyrics there are tons of rappers better Nas and Royce is way better lyrically
@Brand Gadfly on the takeover Jay made fun of Nas for kicking knowledge then years later what did Jay do with 444
It just sucks that the album didnt feat Em. But is understandable why he didn't. As much as Royce respects Em, he always wanted to be his own man. Loving the album so far and still waiting for the come back of Bad meets Evil.
Therealdude you gon learn was supposed to be on his album but em liked it so much that he asked for it to be on his album but at least we got the skit and an amazing album
@@shootfirst5278 I didnt know that. It was a pretty dope song so I dont brame Em for wanting it on his album.
Didn't know how he'd top Book of Ryan but he Did! The Allegory should be praised like DAMN and TPAB.
I agree but i think book of ryan is a perfect album
Black Milk is another legend from the D
Royce is standing on the shoulder of giants.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I LOVE PEOPLE IN RECOVERY!!! SO CALLED "REGULAR PEOPLE" ARE NOT AS HONEST AND OBJECTIVE AS ROYCE IS IN THIS INTERVIEW!!
Rip Mac, wonder if he ever made a rough cut of the track with Royce? That would be something to hear!
I don't know why some people say Shady Records don't promote his men. Royce is everywhere and Griselda too for their albums.
You are right but Royce is not signed to Shady records
@@hechpee isnt bad half (his label) signed to shady tho?
