The Saviour's words of reproof to the men of Nazareth apply in the case of Paul, not only to the unbelieving Jews, but to his own brethren in the faith. Had the leaders in the church fully surrendered their feelings of bitterness toward the apostle, and accepted him as one specially called of God to bear the gospel to the Gentiles, the Lord would have spared him to them to still labor for the salvation of souls. He who sees the end from the beginning, and who understands the hearts of all, saw what would be the result of the envy and jealousy cherished toward Paul. God had not in his providence ordained that Paul's labors should so soon end; but he did not work a miracle to counteract the train of circumstances to which their own course gave rise. (AA 417.2)

And you said "I know but tomorrow...Tomorrow I’ll give my life tomorrow, I thought about today BUT it’s so much easier to say "Tomorrow"
BUT Who promised you tomorrow? Better choose the Lord today! For tomorrow very well might be too late!

David Asscherick I love you and your lessons so much HOWEVER for a man who loves words please examine one you use toward God and Jesus often. You say they are "INCREDIBLE" They are just the opposite, they are the most "Credible". :) It's funny how we adopt the Lingo of the day with out even thinking about it, isn't it?

Beautiful sermon. But I am puzzled about what the preacher said regards Paul, that when Paul was in prison the church didn't pray enough for Paul so he died in Rome, although God still had plans for him. Can someone please show me the passage(s) that talks about this in the bible? I've read the book of Acts but couldn't find it there. Thanks :)
Does anyone know where the reference is that David referenced when he said Paul would have lived if the church had prayed for him as they prayed for Peter?
