This 2023, am so thankful for the wonderful reminder that God love me so so much ...He gave up all.... pastor David am so glad u choose to be a pastor ....
I listened to this sermon maybe 7 or 8 years ago. A couple more times over the years. I'm back in 2024. It has blessed me. When the world tries to make me feel less than, I am amazed and humbled that a wondrous GOD would have mercy on me and love me in spite of my flaws. Praises be unto the MOST HIGH GOD. Thank you LORD.
This is one of the best sermons ever. Praise our Glorious God and Savior!! I've listened to it several times so far. Lord, let me never forget this sermon!
Just cried after hearing this message! Cried.....Ohh! What Wondereous Love is this, Oh My soul! .... My value is determined by what He has done at Calvary for me.... Thank you Jesus.!!🙏
This is so astounding that my mind is slowly taking it in as best as I can, and the devil is angry because he is trying to distract and reroute my reflectings on this
Powerful sermon worth listening and knowing that the value of an article is in the person who is paying the price for it.Thank you Jesus amen and Praise the Lord 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Jesus for reminding me of my value!! I tend to forget so thank you for reminding me how much you love me! After sobbing and ruining my shirt cause no tissue around! I'm so thankful for Jesus!
Pastor David goes below the surface in such a simple manner! The true woeking of the Holy Spirit; allowing persons from all walks of life to understand ☺
He Knew, and he bought me ANYWAY!!!! What Wonderous LOVE Is This?! I Praise YOU GOD!! Thank YOU for taking me, a broken pearl! What a GREAT message... Thank you Ps David Asscherick.
God be glorified!! Thank Jesus He saw fit to pay the price of His life for us, earthen vessels, that we may be counted as worthy for eternal life! Such a powerful message, no matter how many times I watch this year after year!
"For one sinner, the Son of Man 'Christ Jesus' was willing to lay down His life, What wondrous love is this; [John 15:13 NKJV] "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends" ...to bring many sons to Glory with exceeding joy.
I had three distinct and powerful rushes of electricity run through my body when you spoke the part where Jesus said about the cracked broken pearl "I'll take it". I am constantly saying in my prayers how horribly broken I am and how I have given up so much already but still have more I need to part with, that I am discouraged and even depressed at my progress, though I have come a long way. This message set my heart at peace. It was meant for me, that I know for sure,. THANK YOU for presenting it in such an understandable way. God Bless you and Yours!
Heart & Soul of gospel is about what God has given up!! not what I give up for Jesus but what Jesus has given up for me...HE's the one walking in the field!! Matthew 13:44-46 COL118 The parable of the merchantman seeking goodly pearls has a double significance: it applies not only to men as seeking the kingdom of heaven, but to Christ as seeking His lost inheritance..SO the heart of the question is: Will I-Can I? Give up everything for Christ? God knew what He was getting and He STILL chose us!
Even knowing where he was going with this sermon I was spellbound. If this isn't the best sermon I have ever heard it is right next to it. I have watched it twice tonight and will watch it again. I am keeping is shortcut on my desktop.
Gospel in a sentence where the Good News about the character of God most forcefully/blatantly communicated is at Calvary! The Cross event: Central truth: On the cross God said I would rather go to hell for you rather than live in Heaven without you!! God values each of us more than His own eternal existence!! God values the Container more than Himself! We are the plastic water bottle....
This former purple haired, tattooed punk rocker turned Preacher will open your eyes in a way that no other preacher can do, guaranteed. Better grab a box of Kleenex before watching this video.
Dear Obed Daniel, I just came across your comment from 4 years ago and am wondering if you would like to discuss please? How is your Christian walk going? Have you thought about the sermon you disliked, and have you had a change of thought towards it? happy to discuss if you'd like to. Thanks.
just a quick story I meet my first and only that I know of Jew Hebrew he appeared white and hated Paul. he claimed I was not his neighbor because at the time of Moses genitals were not Jewish. made sense to me since Paul brought gospel to us. I ask him well then buddy how are we genitals saved. please don't get affected just a story
Life changing sermon. Astonishing new insights. Unfortunately for me, the last quarter of it was drowned-out by too loud a guitarist wanting to be heard above David's/ God's otherwise important message. David, PLEASE use sound engineers and musicians that understand the context and mechanics of their craft. I needed to hear every word of this brilliant message but found myself distracted by a far too long and too loud an 'intro', to an otherwise, when it eventually arrived, relevant song. Note how the audience were hungry for the WORDS, when there was no 'background' music playing. Pastor Asscherick, in this instant, I dearly wanted to every one of these precious, insightful, spirit filled WORDS; not a talent quest of guitarist vs evangelist.
Icetrucker1956 Icetrucker, I have woked in ministry as an audio engineer. I've even 'miked' David before a couple sermons he delivered in Sydney nearly a decade ago. Some musicians on occasion 'like to heard'. However, on the average, for the greatest number of listeners, "background music" is meant to be just that, background not foreground.
This is teaching he is a shepherd. I have been listening to this guy for a few days as well. I wonder if he believes in the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the initial evidence of tongues. If he believes in the gifts of the spirit as well. Anyone know? What does he say about it? I have not got tpo that sermon.
Anyone still here in 2024?
Thank You God for this man’s ministry 🙌🏾🙏🏾
