Thank you to both Pastor David Asscherick and Dr. Pitman for this. I've been having somewhat of a crisis of faith and this information definitely helps me on my search.

Something occurred to me during the butterfly example (@ 1:15), where David said, "the butterfly cells are in the caterpillar", but that's not quite right. As Sean pointed out just before that, NOTHING from the caterpillar is in the butterfly, the actual "cells" weren't there,.......but the INFORMATION was !! That's the most compelling fact about DNA, is that it isn't merely a pile of protiens and amino acids, it is digitally stored INFORMATION, and the only source of "information:, is intelligence !
Anyway, great video, I've been back and forth to it all morning !

"And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands!"
    Mark 6: 2
jesus not only teaches on the sabbath but also works on the sabbath. so people dont necessarily have to be alone to spend time with god on the sabbath, they just have to spend time with him.. or do his work.

Faith doesn't have to be based on wishful thinking. It can be based on empirical evidence/science. In fact, as already mentioned, all forms of science require leaps of faith to one degree or another...

    Hello David,
I have a question about the Sabbath day keeping. You think the reason why preachers preach on Sunday is because they are honoring the Sabbath day on their own? After all the bible speaks of doing no work or having others work for you during God's Holy day. So maybe the reason why there is church on Sunday is because Saturday is our day to spend alone with God. So should we just do both?

Do you consider Sunday keeping to be part of the new covenant?

What form of verification are you looking for? Everything mentioned in verifiable from mainstream scientific journals - from science itself. Acceptance of the correctness of any scientific theory requires, by definition, a degree of faith - a leap of faith since no hypothesis or theory can be fully proven in science. There is always the potential for falsification given additional information.

Science is about trying to cross the gaps in what we know. If you have an empirical argument along these lines, which challenges anything I said in the video, by all means present it. Otherwise, where's your science? What do you have beyond just-so stories and wishful thinking to support your your turtles-all-the-way up "science"? - something more than your own blind-faith atheistic religion?

theology- notice the ology on the end? implication: study, knowledge, reality etc.
your comment is addressed already in this video. the origin of science was a belief (faith/trust) that creation was comprehensible. you make science look bad when you pretend that religion should bow to it, instead of the other way around. they're not enemies. but one definitely has to come first.
