The main characters being the same as the ones from x and y. Is exactly what happened to Dawn and Lucas in PLA. In PLA you play as Dawn or Lucas sent back in time this is shown through the fact that data miners have found an exact replica of their bedroom from DPPt.

@twangerrrrrr I- as true as that is, Not my point at all. This is a video game. Video game developers do things like that to give lore without actually saying anything.
My point is there is plenty of reason to say that this is not Lucas from diamond and pearl for example if you look at the remakes in the 3d model you can very clearly see Lucas is not wearing this shirt.
The Kalos shirt from the developers are more then likely trying to convey that this main protagonist is from Kaloa.
Yes Kalos came after sinnoh but if they wanted to show that this is Lucas they would of made more connections to it being Lucas which they did not. If anything it's more showing this could be Lucas's Ancestor stuck in the past.
And not too mention it shows with the guy from Black and whites battle train being there that characters not from sinnoh were dragged to the past.
There's just more evidence to say this is probably not Lucas rather then there is to say it is. That is my point
I think they still want Scarlett and Violet to be the main VGC game even after the release of ZA - this way they can add variety to what will then be a stale metagame. I think backwards compatibility is totally plausible.
The issue with this is however is that Scarlet/Violet has now reached it's "Restricted Phase" ; with Reg G permitting the use of _1_ Restricted Pokemon.
With Worlds coming up in August, that means the next expected Regulation H, could permit the use of _2_ Restricted Pokemon moving forward until the S/V season ends.
As much as I love meta variety or whatever, Legends ZA _needs_ to have some powerful/meta defining Pokemon for them to even have a chance at spotlight, as much versatility in the teams we've seen w/ Terastalize I feel like Legends ZA Pokemon are just gonna be wasted when introduced this way.
You also have to add the fact that Legends ZA will come out next year of 2025, by then we're basically at Reg H (Part 2).
I firmly believe that Legends ZA will allow the usage of their mons @ Gen 10 when HOME is introduced, but not in Gen9.
I hope they at least will make any potential new mons available to be transfered into SV, and not be like last time where we hadda wait over a year to be able to use the new mons. I'm probably hoping for too much though lmao.

The last line is not that odd tbh. You can transfer Pokemon from SV to bdsp or swsh and vice versa. You cannot transfer new ones, only the same ones.
Being able to move Pokemon from PLZA to SV might have something to do with the ape paradox? Maybe since Kalos and Paldea border each other, the ape mon crossed over the border and they further tie the paradox Pokemon to Kalos?
Sada and turo showing up isn't that far out there in the secret scene in kitakami they explicitly say they're from an alternate timeline and professors have shown up outside their games before
The leak that says the starters are totadile, litten and snivy is REALLY setting me up for a hard decision. Those three are my favorite starters from each type (tho fennekin is a close second for fire), and Kalos is already my favorite region. I'm so excited for this game, and I really hope this leak is accurate, especially in terms of the Hoopa intro and the starters!

There's some red flags like
Hoopa's portals have always been space portals, not time portals
and
Zygarde is deeply tied to nature, making it man-made would be very weird
oh good lord, Mega Golurk, i like the idea but sounds terrifying nonetheless, sounds like Regigigas might have a real rival soon
honestly i would like to see it in a different way maybe more special and spirit wise you know like gengar instead of bulk
@@marcogomes7281 i can honestly agree with that, though i'd also kinda like to see some other pokemon get maybe an evolution and/or a regional form, i know this is probably an unpopular opinion but i honestly think Spinda needs and evolution, yes i know alone Spinda wasn't that good but i did once find a strat for double battles where i had Spinda and Porygon and a couple of other normally weak pokemon and i made and absolute beast of a team, i don't remember exactly how i did it but the way i had it set up my Porygon was basically immune to Spinda's Teeter Dance, it was able to keep reusing it's Lum Berry so while Spinda kept the opponents confused, Spinda also had Attract so she could use on Male opponents, plus she had Toxic as well, then i can't remember if it was Dizzy Punch or Drain Punch she had, my Porygon had Trick Room as well, basically i created a Chip Damage, Trick Room and Lockdown combination, now sure it wasn't unbreakable it has it's weaknesses but that strat did serve me well and won me a fair few online double battles so i'm proud of myself for that, so yeah i'd love for Spinda to come back and get some love because i love Spinda, it's one of my favorite normal types and in my top 10 favorite normal types at that

It's probably just Calem/Serena sent back to the past like in PLA. In those games, whoever you choose as the player character is Lucas or Dawn sent back to the past, only as the non-player character are they actually a different character, Rei or Akari, who are native to that time period and probably an ancestor of Lucas/Dawn.

As cool as the first post sounds, there’s no way they would do generation 25 and seven all over again the same from the first legends game and I know hoopa war with portals, but I don’t think it’s ever stated that it can time travel
I think if anything with all the jhoto rep, celebi we have to do something with time travel in the 30th anniversary coming up as well as missing its rep in Scarlet and Violet and then maybe we might have hoopa for warping, but there’s always travel so I don’t know if that’s necessary
But according to the canon lore and Pokédex, Hoopa is bound entirely by the rules of Space, and not by Time.
It cannot manipulate time, but can teleport anywhere in Space at the same point in time (remains a constant).
It has the power to manipulate its own Cartesian coordinates throughout 3D Space (X, Y, Z).
If you didn’t notice… gen 2 5 7 are the same pick from PLA. In my opinion i think they need to do this. It always felt unfair how oshowatt, cyndaquill and rowlet got forms and the rest like tepig litten snivy etc. the rest of the starter Pokémon trio in their respective generations did not get any special forms or didn’t get a chance to show up in PLA. Like they should do this to get all of gen 2 5 and 7 starter Pokémon new forms while not seeming unfair by only giving one pick only a form.
Everyone wins because eventually all the gen 2 5 and 7 starters get new forms leaving them all with some cool forms.

I think the only red flag for me is the idea of doing gen 2 5 and 7 starters AGAIN. We already did 257 in legends arceus with cyndaquil, oshawott, and rowlett
Starter gen 1 get Mega & gigantamax. Gen 3 get Mega. Gen 8 get gigantamax. Gen 6 get Mega in this rumor. So only gen 2, 4, 5 and 7 never get a new form. That's why they gave another new form to those gen again. For Gen 4 starter I believe they will get new form in Gen 10 dlc.

Considering Nintendo is winding down the original Switch and don't have many original titles left I believe we'll see Legends Z-A at the Direct because they need more games that aren't remakes and remasters to show off. Only other original game I can think of we know is in development right now is Metroid Prime 4.

The reason Baxcalibur got Mega too fast because Pseudo from Gen 2, 3, 4 got Mega. Pseudo from Gen 6 got new region form. Pseudo Gen 5 got paradox. And Pseudo from Gen 1, 7, 8 seem likely to get a new thing in Gen 10 ( 2026 ) So that's why they give new thing for Baxcalibur as the last chance before Mega era gone again. 🐉 🐉 🐉
Finally, a rumor that makes sense, for the most part (paradox silvally seems iffy to me).
You know about the unique antique pokeball that Rayquaza was in Horizons. You are likely to be the one to capture it. Much like that unique Origin Ball you use to catch one of the creation trio.

I really must ask why people think the starters will be the same gens as PLA. I mean we already had Cyndaquil, Oshawatt, and Rowlet which are already 2, 5, and 7. It wouldn't make sense to pick from those gens again. I can understand ruling out gens 1 and 3 due to already having megas as well as gen 6 if they want to screw over those 3 again like they did in X/Y.
Personally it's only fair for the gen 6 starters to get megas since gen 7 got personal z crystals and gen 8 got personal gmax forms.

i don't really trust some of the "leaked" pokemon, like Paradox Noctowl; the paradoxes all have one type related to the original mon they're based on, and noctowl is a normal/flying, no psychic in its typing
but god i'd love for paradoxes to come back; it makes sense, since oras had megas, so gen 6 remakes getting a similar treatment by getting the prior game's "thing" makes sense to me
I wonder if we are going to get way more starters; If you can go to both the past and future, the professor might have starters based on the time similar to Laventon having the startes for us. If thats not the case , we are probably getting X and Y megas for our 3 starters. Maybe even a Mega A and Mega Z forms . (and then they can give charziard two more megas!)
And remember Legends Arceus' characters may come from Kalos too (or at least their t-shirt) 😂
