@panameradan6860 Now we're talking. Could order a EV90 Cross Country instantly 😎 Wouldn't even need to see it.. I absolutely love the current V90 CC. My favorite Volvo, if non Plug-In. Otherwise it's second, behind the S90.
EX60 will be manufactured in Sweden Göteborg, so that's good. I work at a Volvo manufacturing plant that will produce the new Gen3 electric engines for it, not in production yet though.
@carstenklyhn4501 There's already rumors/confirmed information that the EX90 will get a big update in like two years. Technical. From 400V to 800V. Not sure if they will change motors/battery tech in that update. But there's always something newer coming. So can always wait, but then you'll never getting a car.
@@volvo_kristian that’s certainly true to a certain degree. But it also shows that a high depreciation might be likely. Higher than used to be the case for ICE owners. But time will tell.
Well depends what version you go for. The Twin are primarily FWD and can engage the rear for AWD. But the Twin Performance are in my understanding only AWD, but can during coasting disconnect the front motor.
I think the EX90 looks stunning, i’ve got one comming in nov/dec. Fully loaded twin performance, ultra , chardemome interior and silver dawn exterior color. Cant wait to get it!🎉
Yeah definitely 😎 I hope they manage to fit the EX90 battery in that one. For massive range. But I'm more excited to see the exterior design. If it's careful and conservative or slightly more exciting.
Excited for that one. Loved my previous S90. So if they can nail both exterior/interior design with sufficient luxury vibe to the interior then I'm in.
Not much happening outside 😅 BMW doesn't have any tempting electric cars at the moment (maybe just i4). Same with Mercedes, nothing exciting. Audi has a incoming A6 E-tron that could definitely be something for me. Then I'm back and forward between the new Macan.. So not much tempting in the EV sphere.. if Plug-In Hybrid then it's much more exciting cars around.
What gave me a second thought was the glitchy ordering website. In the world of EVs the software is extremely important. If their engineers can't make a reliable website, I can't trust them with my safety building AI ADAS system.
@@volvo_kristianI believe that quality assurance and high standards for reliability should be across the board in an organization, from ordering websites to ADAS.
I think most people who will buy an EX90 will regret their purchase especially when Volvo has big problems with the development of the software, a heavy and expensive car that is not even fully developed should not be on the market. I'm personally waiting for the electric version of the V90 and if it doesn't come, maybe it will be a BMW instead.
@ItaloDiscoFreak77 The software are delayed. And why do you say "a heavy and expensive car that's not fully developed shouldn't be on the market"? Weird . Most EV's are heavy, and in this class they're also expensive. Check the weight of the iX. It's a heavy one. Probably same on i5. And that one are actually more expensive than the EX90. .at least if you want AWD, right now. It's delayed software. When that's on place you will get a awesome car. Maybe class leading.
Had a test drive with an i5 station wagon. Underwhelming. The whole interior design and the software graphics are totally different from what you are use to when you drive and like Volvo. Not my kind of style. Maybe „Neue Klasse“ will be better, but not any announced station wagon for this platform yet.
I’ll wait for the EV90 and EV60 cross country wagons … if Volvo doesn’t make them, I’ll look elsewhere for BEVs… I don’t like SUVs or sedans

Your Polestar S60 looks insane 🤩 I also loved when you had half wrapped Gold 👍🏽
Thanks 😎

@Jeff.55649 Yeah that's what I've also heard. So that's the cherry I'm waiting for. Picked up my previous XC60 at the Torslanda factory.
If that’s the case, maybe the EX90 will be updated also. Hence the more reason not to buy a EX90 too soon

Your Volvo S60 looks awesome 👍 here I enjoy my life with an C40 twin
@JandusJ Thanks man 😎 Love this one, but I'm also a huge C40 fan
If EX90 can do eco mode which can disengage front motor to become only RWD, that' ll be perfect. Range will be more when you want it (eco mode).

@@BabyKermit_ Wow.. that could be a sweet combo 😎 Not sure what market you're in, but did you go for 6 or 7 seats?
@@volvo_kristian Norway, so 7😊
@BabyKermit_ Yeah correct. Remember now. Bergen right?
@@volvo_kristian Jupp😊
Looking forward to the EX60 to see the comparison with audi's Q6

Go for the ES90 insted

Does Volvo switch to 800 Volt platforms? Geely does have it and all the premium car makers will do the switch.
@derSebov Yes Volvo will also switch over in 2 years time. At least for the EX90. Same with the Polestar 3
@@volvo_kristian So just leasing right now 😉
@derSebov For many owners it won't make a practical difference. Or at least not worth waiting for.
You should reach outside the Volvo sphere...

It's not the same software people 😂 I've never experienced the glitchy website either.
@@volvo_kristianOh, I'm talking about the US website.

Er du sikker på at du ikke får samme lykter på både plus og ultra? Ser like ut på bildene… Tenker da på åpne/lukke funksjonen, ikke matrix.
Volvo had said the ex90 will left out some stuff in the car
@sakariyemahamud1707 Software? Yes I know that. Some functions are delayed. Already made a video about that. Posted it 2 days ago 👍
Too expensive for what you get. Little value compared to competitors.
And what competitors are that? Have you seen the prices on cars such as the EQS. Much higher then this one
I think it’s 2.250 kilograms instead Tons
@@vincentmeier Don't know what you're talking about
In your video, towing capacity 2250 tons…
@vincentmeier oh 🤣🤣 I'm so sorry.. It's of course 2,2 tons or 2.200 kg
@@volvo_kristian 🤣🤣
By the time EX90 comes out you might be so old by that time youll lose your license.
@@hdhdhhehe6709 Doubtful 🤣 it's coming in a few weeks
I would stay FAR away from any early EX/ES Volvos until they have more experience building them and the software is worked out.
More experience building cars? 😂 Ok.. I'm not worried, but think I see your point. There's always some "start issues" with a brand new car/platform.
@@volvo_kristian noo silly 😜, more experience with SPA2.
Buy the EV9 instead. Volvo are getting really boring cars.
Maybe I'm boring, but prefer Volvo's over Kia.
