Even though the bumps were soft and flat, great speed and rhythm. Got a bit soggy down around 1800 meters and slush city at 1400 meters. My legs were burning and I only watched it. On the health front, The doctors zapped me and now all four chambers of my heart are working. So next is old fashioned exercise. My previous COVID shutdown program of aerobic visualization had disappointing results. I am already thinking snow.
Hey Barry, that is really really great news about your heart, so happy they managed to fix it... in my experience, exercise and diet is the key... the great thing about skiing is that this kind of excercise is so much fun... This run did get tiring towards the end (on the slush), my legs were burning but I had to make it to the end. You know, by the end of ski season, my quads are huge... I do push it as I know I can rest on the lift going back up :-)
@@ChasingSnow Yeah, quite used to the sliding feeling now, and can even do some edging. Have to see how I can incorporate it into parallel of which I'm getting used to. Still a beginner, but not as much a beginner as I was.
Hi, this video was taken on March 29, 2024. It's always difficult to predict the season but Sölden goes quite high so the snow should be good up top....
Thanks!
Wow, thanks once again Barry! This is greatly appreciated!
Wow, that has some snow!
Cheers Dan, the snow wasn't so ideal lower down, but I did enjoy this one :-)

For my first few holidays, I'll stick to skiing greens and then mild blues.
Sounds good... you will be much better prepared now with all the practice you are getting...

You've made a 65 yo woman look forward to her daily elliptical workout. Thanks so much.
Enjoy :-)
Nice video!
I was planning to go sölden at the end of the February. What is the date of this video? Do you have any advice for the season?

Wow! As always, greatly appreciated Beth :-)
