@Wood Duck I don't know how long this Tiller Truck is on the road, but the American 100' mid-mount ladders are on a comparable large truck chassis where we have Aerials in the 170' range. The Tiller is longer for sure, but I don't know if it's a longer or shorter truck than the ones with a 300' range over here. Our 105' rear-mount Tower Ladders are based on a very compact truck chassis to gain a great maneuverability, maybe even better than a Tiller
Leesburg is a large volunteer fire department in Loudoun County Va. They have live-ins and have no issues with staffing, they also have 2 stations. This truck is replacing another tiller.
If a volunteer agency can have ladders trucks, heavy rescues, etc, why not a TDA if that's what they feel is best for their streets. As you can see, Loudoun County, VA, just west of DC, has some money. Very pretty area too. Not at all like the area east of DC.
This exact rig drives past my office every day - beautiful! Can't believe I found a video of it!
a VERY, VERY nice rig for a vollie dept
Thank you
sounds like he's very excited for this truck!
And I get to see this tiller almost everyday now
This is a very generously sponsored volunteer fire department.
I love this tiller
Such an enormous truck and only 107' ladder ...

That tiller went to my county
What makes an Ascendant tiller ladder different from a regular tiller? They seem to be built the same way.
I believe it’s just the model
Nice unit
ive been in this tiller before

Did Ya'll put weather stripping on the compartment doors? LAFD got fucked on that one.
what are the ground pads for
To distribute the weight of the outriggers
If they didn't use the pads the legs would sink into the ground or asphalt and make it uneven
James Cyr now I understand why they use ground pads
Does it have any n board water storage?
Lol no why would it🤣🤣
I saw this get in a truck i was in at fdic he just poked his head in and left
Jesus Loves You
That was a pretty shitty tour! Not very informative.
