I see you went with the short cab doors in case you're up close to the jersey barriers or vehicles on tight streets. Very smart choice. However, why didn't you go with the roll up compartment doors? It appears in the video that the compartment doors are lower and will not be able to be opened if you're close to the jersey barriers or parked vehicles. Just asking?

+Joe Wesolowski My department runs a all Segrave fleet. we had a pierce engine and it kinda blew up on is and we went back to Seagrave because we have very little problems. now, depending on how much your truck sits between runs will also depend on which truck is better

Extraordinary that so many fire people (and cops) are bland and dull as they drone on and on with their stilted jargons and fifth-grade language paks burbling howlers galore and the truly awful, stunted vocabularies of Amerika's low-flying underclass. What's the deal? Is everybody riding these rigs dumber than dust? They sound so much like the standard-issue military gronks--both officers and enlisted--who've managed to trash what little war-fighting expertise Amerika may once have had which, admittedly, wasn't much to start with.Jus' sayin'.

Firefighting is one of those jobs that appears a lot more glamorous than it truly is. It's also not nearly as dangerous as they like to portray it as. Firefighter death rates are around the same as office worker death rates, compared to many other jobs it does not even rate on the dangerous scale. You are also very correct in your statement Firefighting is by no mean an educated job anyone with a minimal education could be a firefighter. Because of television and movies and the news media firefighting has become one the most over rated jobs ever!
