Kanami's "solos" tend to be "trios" - with MISA's bass and Akane's drum, they work together as a unit and it is beautiful. They are a band in every sense of the word... and yeah, MISA's style and tone is outstanding.
My #1 favorite Band-Maid song. It was a tie for first with 'Alone' for the longest time, but I bit the bullet and decided on 'Manners'. It's Miku channeling Joan Jett that did it for me. 🙂

And Akane and MISA are very tight, they worked together before Band-Maid, they went to the same music school with each other before that as well. So the two of them have almost 11 years of working with each other and they know how the other would perform.
Hello....this song is an absolute masterpiece (Misa's Fav) and you can see why....Akani tasteful drumming was understated and perfect as alway.....but the vocals were outstanding.....such a great bluesy groove to this...I love this band as much as you!!!!! LoL

If only you had let the video continue on the the other song on it, called 'Black Hole'. The 'Bare Foot Assassin' owns that song too with her bass lines. Of course the other Maids are exceptional as well.
I agree with what you say about MISA..... She is easily in my top 10 bassist's of all time - maybe top 5..... I haven't thought that much. But who are YOUR top 5 drummers and where does Akane rate, for you. Akane is in my top 10.

I do as well, especially as I can hear Miku's vocals much better, and I can actually hear Kanami's guitar much better as well.
