Several other drummers, have said that while Akane's beats "sound" simple they are anything but. A couple mentioned that they themselves would have lots of problems playing what Akane makes look so effortless.
I LOVE how Akane waited till the end to kick everyone's ass..... set us up then knocked us OVER! I'm really diggin' MISA's new "wet" look...

Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。 "Influencer" was played on Sep.7 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo in Band-Maid's pre-US concert as the 13th song and that was the premiere. Just so you know, I witnessed it at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿. That means I am one of the people who heard this song for the first time in the world. In the solo part, that dynamic combination of Misa and Akane was really amazing. Uh oh, don't say "lucky you!" 😜 This MV was filmed at a famous and old stone quarry (Ishikiri-Sanmyaku) located in Ibaraki prefecture, north of Tokyo. Kanami was very scared when she stood near the brink of the cliff but she could defy the fear once cameras started to capture her playing scene. [source : Gekirock news].

Usually I am disappointed when reactors say what she said here. like they are phoning it in. But this was delightful and genuine and mirrors my own reaction inside my head when I hear a BANDMAID song for the first 10 times.

I've watched this over a dozen times over the last two months. It's one of the best visceral reactions ever!
The Hunky Dory Days for USA, Mexico and Japan fans continue as their 2023 10th Anniversary Concert series closes after they performed a whooping 70 of their over 100 superhit songs. And their big climax at the 17,000 seat Yokohama stadium in Nov 26 was unbelievable! But the 2024 Chapter Two of Band-Maid’s quest for World Domination is now underway. A live Band-Maid experience is not to be missed, if at all possible! Thx, TITD! (Just wanted to make it an even 100 comments ;-)

Best band IMHO.
When this started I thought, "I hope she has the subtitles turned on." But then, it's an English translation of Japanese-written lyrics, which is hit or miss, since we're often missing context clues. Even when Miku uses English, she's still writing English as it's used in Japan (not how it's used elsewhere). And then you'd be reading that translation in your second (or later) language, with your brain probably looking for Italian word equivalents to help you understand. Hell, if I were you and I tried that, who knows what I'd come out thinking the song was about? I'd probably think it was their commentary on Gary Holloway or something. 🤨

I saw you were reacting to this song and I said to myself, Misa and Akane will send her into overload and have just a blank stare. It was close when Misa went tearing through her solo. Recovery occurred during Saiki’s brief a cappella. So I was 1/2 correct. Or 1/2 wrong depending on your point of view.
