The very first Airbus A321XLR took to the skies today. After a 4.5 hour long testflight the aircraft performed a stunning wingwave manoeuvre before touching down in Finkenwerder. This sub variant of the well selling A321neo has already accumulated over 500 orders and can fly 4000 nautical miles (8700km)

Sehr schöne Aufnahmen wieder!! Mit der Lackierung unter dem Rumpf kommt die Overhead Perspektive auch richtig gut... Der Wingwave beim Low Approach war schon etwas heftig :-o)

0:03 shows clearly at whom the aircraft is targeted. It can do Delhi-London nonstop, so showed off the taj and big ben. Indigo and Vistara have both placed orders for it, and Jet is poised to follow.

Fuel tanks are installed in the cargo compartment below the passenger floor
