      i owned a Hyundai i20 Active car which I bought in august 2017 and since the beginning there are a lot of issues with the car paint and ac especially, whoever person I met and whenever we discuss, everybody having these two common issues. Just after 2 years, my ac failed where I have driven Maruti and Ford cars for more than 10 years and there was not a single issue with those cars during the entire span. Hyundai is the worst with this quality. Need your support to take it to Hyundai forum where you can get some solution.

    I drove my sister's previous gen i20, with a naturally aspirated 1.2 four banger and manual gearbox, top trim except bose sound system - I comoletely fell in love with it. So much, I seriously started thinking of buying on as my next car... I personally find it very compact, relaxing, easy to live with, yet still pretty stylish and packed with necessary tech for a fair price. Thumbs up Huundai from me 👍🏼 Only dilemma I'd have is wether to go for a manual 1.2 as well or risk the 1.0 DCT. What are your thoughts guys?

    • @mitkoprakov1296
      @mitkoprakov1296 Год назад

      why you should risk? i drive an I20N Line 1.0 DCT , a beast on 4 wheels i would say. Downshifts and exhaust bangs are quite loud into sport mode especially. Boost feels pretty tough when you floor it, you definetely put yourself back in the seat from that little 1.0 turbo motor, suspension is also making the car stick to the road which i personally like( and i was after an SUV at first but high prices of cars now, got my choice down to an i20)

      We have a 2013 model, 180k km. Not a single issue. But it isn't as efficient as they claim, and of course not as well built as VAG, but definitely better than a Yaris. The key with Asian cars is to park them inside. It really helps them last longer, and keeps rust to a minimum.

      @@davetravels9273 Thank you for your feedback, I heard that from newer Hyundais that they were very reliable but we had two bad Hyundai's in the family in the past. One Tucson even had an engine Failure at 140.000km... a regular maintained Diesel Engine - we change the oil every 10-15.000km (!). I mean, I sold my yaris Diesel last year with 240.000km to get a bigger Car (Auris). No engine noise what so ever, the engine sounded like new. All I did was I changed oil, the filters regularly, the Battery once, the Brakes (only front) twice and the Tires sometimes. At 232.000km I had to replace the two front springs. That's it... but what I loved the most is that it is easy to work on. I do not see Hyundai as any competition for Toyota regarding reliability to be honest but I will find out myself because my wife likes the look of the i20 and the Yaris was and is kind of ugly and looks cheap, I fully agree on that (^^). But trust me it outlasts it's competition. That is more important for me personally.

As far as performance is concerning, if you measure ford focus with 100ps , you will see that its way slower and even the 125 mhev is a little faster than the 100ps hyundai.

A drived temporally a MT i20 N line and this one gave 16,5KM/liter which was a bit more surprising compared to my DCT, so yeah i guess there is small difference but nothing shocking, id still prefer the automatic gearbox for the comfort
