    Very good video👍And I think you nailed it about "expectations" The machine does what it does very well indeed. I have used the Simplex Ultra for a few months now and it definitely goes deeper, but as you said, it has the larger coil. Having said that, I do feel that Nokta has deliberately reduced performance on these machines in order to encourage people to upgrade to the Legend. That is fine, the Simplex range is priced right for the performance and features offered. For the money, I think Nokta have got it right.

    The Simplex scanner,is only shallow enough to be detected, why?

      Its a long handle beach scoop. There are many varieties out there, mine has a carbon fibre handle to make it lighter.
      We sell some long handle scoops here:

      Yes, in theory, a larger simplex coil should aid with some more depth.

      @@treasure_huntersso would ground balancing and knowing what settings to use it on. As for an example all metals is what should be used for dry beach. Beach mode is for wet sand…

    • @treasure_hunters
      @treasure_hunters  8 месяцев назад

      Have you tested this machine with the bigger coil? I would love to know if you get much better depth with the bigger coils at the beach (not using the BT or Ultra, but still with the Lite). In theory it should make a difference, but how much is the big question.
      The point of the test was to test the machine out the box (which that is the size of the coil that comes with the Lite) at the beach.
      I notice a lot of comments saying I used the wrong coil, but that defeats the point of the test. That is the coil that comes with that machine.

    • @met71metaldetector55
      @met71metaldetector55 7 месяцев назад

      On the beach you would need smaller 24 coils, the more stable the metal is, then more precise at the small target,

      @@treasure_hunters I understand. You would think it would hit at 9 inches. Perhaps mineralization messes with her. I got the ultra for my birthday its doing well for me. My soil conditions here in the high desert (California) are all over the map ground balance is nuts. But for an entry level machine I'm very impressed. I want that small coil though lol. I'm very accustomed to using them.
