I believe people remember their past lives for several reasons, a lot if it is when someone dies traumatically in the very last life and incarnated before they were all the way healed, and it's about healing and coming to terms with that lesson, and forgiving yourself and living your loving self. Why does it have to be their memories . Since we cannot prove they are , its just as likely that they are privvy to a dead persons memory that have no other connection . If you can entertain the idea of prior live then why not accept broadcasted memories ?
I don't believe in reincarnation is true. Instead, I know reincarnation is true! Beginning when a child I went to parts of the same past life. Even re-experienced my death and was murdered with a gun shot to the stomach and it HURT. However, it was a quick death. Later, discovered I had an older brother who, in this life, is my son. If I hadn't experienced them, I'd find reincarnation hard to believe.
Christ supposed to have said person must be born again to go to the kingdom of heaven you must be without sin this probably had another meaning as to be reincarnated and the term sin also means to miss the mark so of Christ originally probably meant a whole lot more than Romans changed and terminology

Where it says, "Therefore you be perfect as God is perfect" is wrong. The correct translation is to be "loving" which would include kindness, compassion, mercy and all other traits that God is, for God IS Love. But, as you correctly noted, we all miss the mark but God always loves us for we are all beloved children of God.
When I was young(3 to 4 years old) I remember a recurring dream I had in three parts. One of the parts was of me being stuck on train tracks while a train headed right for me. Right after this one I would see 2 men in black suits coming up to a small house and knock on the door. I felt they came there to look for me and to possibly kidnap me. Nearby were a group of children doing cartwheels near some flowers. I know it was 3 parts but I can no longer remember what came before the train. I never understood why I had this dream until now, I realize that it was more then just a dream. They could have been memories. As I grew up this dream would slowly start fading and only happen once a year until it completely stopped. These dreams were so strange that my family got involved and I would draw pictures of the dream for them.

Yolanda, I have some recurring, very strong feeling of being on a different planet. It’s very weird, I know, and very hard to believe, but I’ve been saying this since I was four years old: “I’m not from this planet. I’m from a planet that is mostly water, and is warm, like the Caribbean. There are very lush tree-like plants that grow out of the shallow water and they have very huge curly leaves. We crawl inside those leaves to sleep at night. We eat from some plants that grow out of the water. When we defecate, it is like little slippery pellets, and they float. A type of fish comes and eats those floating pellets. There are whisky clouds all the time that diffuse the light. There is only a slight breeze, never big storms. We drink the fresh water that collects in a plant from the dew of the morning. The ocean has a sandy bottom and where we live, the water is shallow and more beautiful than here on Earth. There is more but don’t want this to get too long. These images I have are clear and vivid. I’ve seen this place, I’ve been there. Would like to discuss more.

People always assume that having an intense feeling of connectedness (?) proves the visions we have are first person to us . Perhaps its a form of communication from the dead ? We are just speculating here , after all . If reincarnation is on the table , why not empathic memories of the long dead ?

The men with me put a short curved blade between their lips, dull side backwards and slowly, silently start to climb the ropes, pausing before the top rail of the ship. I put my blade into my mouth and could feel and even taste the metal. A big bald man in front of me with no shirt whispers to me, "Sir, your hat" and I leave it behind. The dream ends with all of us on the ropes, silently waiting to board. That's all of it. Later, As a middle aged woman , I started to dig into our ancestry. Shockingly, I found out that I had several ancestors in the royal navy during the napoleonic wars. One was a 1st leftenant/lieutenant and his brother was a ship's barrel maker called a "cooper" in old times. As a Christian saying you must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven before the Romans changed the meaning it probably meant to be reincarnation because to the Christian it has a separate meaning but there could be another meaning the human spirit has to have spiritual awareness and the other meaning of sin is to miss the mark to be with out sin, it has a double meaning
My father was a pretty learned individual told me that at one time the Bible had instances where reincarnation was mentioned but sometime around the 12th century the church took it out of the Bible. for obvious political reasons and having more control of the masses.

I found out in a dream/vision when I was 18/1990 I researched it about 9 years ago and found out that a very very small unknown at that time group of people really did exist and was doing the every thing I was doing in my dream (rescuing Jewish children and placing them in safe homes. Kind of like an underground railroad).

I don't ask why it happens, I ask how. It makes no sense to me.
There is no such thing as reincarnation...however it is possible to inherit memory cells from deceased relatives of close friends who knew of such people...this is more likely whats happening...the events are real...but its just inherited memory cells replaying the past.

@@leewalker1177 There are people solving old cases cause they remembered their past life....so there is atleast a "fifty-fifty" chance for it being real and thats my opinion .
