I met Dorothy Eady when I visited the temple of Seti in the 1970's. She was a joyful, sweet natured lady and on the day I met her she wore a yellow silk dress and open sandals. She showed me and my family around some of the temple ruins, and she was very knowledgeable about life at the temple. I didn't know until this video that she was from London and had studied in Plymouth. I've also lived in both those cities, and found this coincidence fascinating! I also fell down a full flight if stairs when I was 3 and hit my head on a metal crate at the bottom, however I was not seriously injured. Just an observation from someone who has always been interested in the stories of reincarnation and rebirth. Your delivery was so fast that I had to rerun sections of this video to check what I’d heard. How much better it would have been to make more videos and have one subject only for each of them. i think karma fits into it as well. If you dont get due punishment in a past life,like if you killed someone and got away with it. I also personally believe in a more scientific aspect of it,that sometimes past lives from alternate realities bleed in. My niece, who is 17( and a nerd like me) have wondered if souls tend to " stick" together and then get pulled apart,with these new " souls" with bits and pieces of new and old souls, like sticky clay or gum that cant be pulled apart. It is hard to believe what you don't experience for yourself. I have researched a number of my past lives and the match up of my data and history is incredible. I cannot give another person certainty but no one can take away my certainty. I have many amazing stories. I will tell but one: I took a trip to France to investigate my memories. One day I passed a house that I felt quite drawn to. It was labeled a castle, but it was no larger than some of the "McMansions" being built today. And it was open to visitors. As I walked up the stairs I thought to myself "the last time I walked up these stairs I was an old man with bad rheumatism." I went in and walked around. A name hit me. It was the name of the person I was visiting that last time I visited. I purchased a book of the history of the place. In it there was list of names of every owner of that place. The name of the person I remembered visiting was on that list.
Although I don't believe in this, it's an interesting concept and I can see why it's comforting to those who do believe in it. Death is scary to think about sometimes.

Reincarnation I strongly believe in this because I think we can choose what we want our experienced to be for example if we lived a relatively poor life maybe we can come back again as say someone succesfull I think we can choose our path and decide how to do it second time around.Who will ever know for sure but that's just my thoughts......what do you think?.
I think you could choose if you remembered you past life(s), the problem is humans usually don’t remember past life’s, not even when they die. Another problem is humans die with lots of fears and ignorance about so many things, this doesn’t help and finally I do believe there are beings/people/entities who trick humans into believing they have to come again and again so they stay in a loop of reincarnations. I believe in reincarnation but not as a frivolous experience as the original commenter writes. I think our soul has multiple lives on earth so that we might learn all the lessons required for our souls to ultimately ascend. When we are in between lives, in Spirit World, our souls choose what kind of life would be necessary in order for our souls to learn particular lessons. Other souls may agree to be our support in this upcoming life to help us achieve that goal. They may need to be a friend, enemy, mother or lover, etc. in order to help us. Once the soul has learned all the lessons required, it may ascend to live eternally in Spirit World, or it may choose to come back to help other souls. Perhaps a soul would choose to come back as a drug addict in order to teach another soul the lesson of compassion, or forgiveness, or to be non-judgemental. In the case of a soul coming back only to live for 3 days let's say, that could be for the soul who is the Pediatrician to learn humility by losing a tiny baby through his/her arrogance. This is the only theory that makes any sense to me. I was raised Catholic, and the idea that a loving "father" who has the power to take away all pain and suffering but chooses not to, but who chooses to send his "children" to everlasting suffering in hell for mistakes they make, is unfathomable to me.
I didn't really take a lot of notice of all this stuff in my earlier life. I was aware of it, but had been raised strictly an atheist, my father a scientist/engineer - that was until my son was born. Initially, he communicated with us using what we thought were simply 'baby words' of his own invention. However, one day, on listening to a radio programme, I was astonished to hear a presenter's guest using some of the same words, identified them as Bengali, and realised they'd all been used in the correct context. (We're rural, white English, with no Bengali connections). It was then my son told me how he'd died in his previous life - before 'waking up' here with me and his dad. That was one of the biggest shocks I've ever received in my life - and consider the fact I wouldn't have a TV in the house (still won't). So he'd had no outside influences that would 'suggest' scenarios to his mind. Like many reincarnates, he was slow to start talking, was born with a peculiar 'scar' - although there was no physical reason he should have acquired one, was very quiet generally, introspective, and exhibited grown-up, even haughty behaviours and qualities that were quite out of character with children of a very young age. One such behaviour included knocking at the sitting room or kitchen door and waiting for us to invite him in. It was so funny to see him standing ramrod straight at a door, in silence, like a military officer or government official. We most certainly never taught him that and have no military in our family. Everyone who met him would always say he's a very old soul, and I genuinely think he is. One time, he went through a stage of having bad dreams, so we decided to take the unusual step of visiting a Buddhist monastery. The abbot suggested we just let things run their course since such children eventually push aside such memories to get on with their new lives. This happened just as he predicted and, around the age of 5 or 6, he stopped talking about his memories.

Interesting. As a child, I saw memory pictures of a large farm house. There was a large garden in front of the house, in the distance there were large stones, trees and paint, and a horse-drawn carriage nearby. I remember what that big room looked like in the house. There we usually ate at a long wooden table. The cooking pot was in the middle of the table and we ate from it with spoons. It could have been 17-18. century? I "feel" like I was a child then. I met Dorothy Eady when I visited the temple of Seti in the 1970's. She was a joyful, sweet natured lady and on the day I met her she wore a yellow silk dress and open sandals. She showed me and my family around some of the temple ruins, and she was very knowledgeable about life at the temple.

i think karma fits into it as well. If you dont get due punishment in a past life,like if you killed someone and got away with it. I also personally believe in a more scientific aspect of it,that sometimes past lives from alternate realities bleed in. My niece, who is 17( and a nerd like me) have wondered if souls tend to " stick" together and then get pulled apart,with these new " souls" with bits and pieces of new and old souls, like sticky clay or gum that cant be pulled apart. It is hard to believe what you don't experience for yourself. I have researched a number of my past lives and the match up of my data and history is incredible. I cannot give another person certainty but no one can take away my certainty. I have many amazing stories. I will tell but one: I took a trip to France to investigate my memories. One day I passed a house that I felt quite drawn to. It was labeled a castle, but it was no larger than some of the "McMansions" being built today. And it was open to visitors.
As I walked up the stairs I thought to myself "the last time I walked up these stairs I was an old man with bad rheumatism." I went in and walked around. A name hit me. It was the name of the person I was visiting that last time I visited. I purchased a book of the history of the place. In it there was list of names of every owner of that place. The name of the person I remembered visiting was on that list.
Although I don't believe in this, it's an interesting concept and I can see why it's comforting to those who do believe in it. Death is scary to think about sometimes.

I think you could choose if you remembered you past life(s), the problem is humans usually don’t remember past life’s, not even when they die. Another problem is humans die with lots of fears and ignorance about so many things, this doesn’t help and finally I do believe there are beings/people/entities who trick humans into believing they have to come again and again so they stay in a loop of reincarnations. Other souls may agree to be our support in this upcoming life to help us achieve that goal. They may need to be a friend, enemy, mother or lover, etc. in order to help us.
Once the soul has learned all the lessons required, it may ascend to live eternally in Spirit World, or it may choose to come back to help other souls.
Perhaps a soul would choose to come back as a drug addict in order to teach another soul the lesson of compassion, or forgiveness, or to be non-judgemental.
In the case of a soul coming back only to live for 3 days let's say, that could be for the soul who is the Pediatrician to learn humility by losing a tiny baby through his/her arrogance.
This is the only theory that makes any sense to me.
I was raised Catholic, and the idea that a loving "father" who has the power to take away all pain and suffering but chooses not to, but who chooses to send his "children" to everlasting suffering in hell for mistakes they make, is unfathomable to me.

I didn't really take a lot of notice of all this stuff in my earlier life. I was aware of it, but had been raised strictly an atheist, my father a scientist/engineer - that was until my son was born.
Initially, he communicated with us using what we thought were simply 'baby words' of his own invention. However, one day, on listening to a radio programme, I was astonished to hear a presenter's guest using some of the same words, identified them as Bengali, and realised they'd all been used in the correct context. (We're rural, white English, with no Bengali connections).
It was then my son told me how he'd died in his previous life - before 'waking up' here with me and his dad.
That was one of the biggest shocks I've ever received in my life - and consider the fact I wouldn't have a TV in the house (still won't). So he'd had no outside influences that would 'suggest' scenarios to his mind.
Like many reincarnates, he was slow to start talking, was born with a peculiar 'scar' - although there was no physical reason he should have acquired one, was very quiet generally, introspective, and exhibited grown-up, even haughty behaviours and qualities that were quite out of character with children of a very young age.
One such behaviour included knocking at the sitting room or kitchen door and waiting for us to invite him in. It was so funny to see him standing ramrod straight at a door, in silence, like a military officer or government official. We most certainly never taught him that and have no military in our family.
Everyone who met him would always say he's a very old soul, and I genuinely think he is.
One time, he went through a stage of having bad dreams, so we decided to take the unusual step of visiting a Buddhist monastery.
The abbot suggested we just let things run their course since such children eventually push aside such memories to get on with their new lives. This happened just as he predicted and, around the age of 5 or 6, he stopped talking about his memories.

I think it means that the person has to live their life suffering to pay off their bad karma they accumulated in their previous life. So, they are a reincarnation. Am I right? What if they don't remember their previous life? What if they feel at odds with their life circumstances? Does this mean that, although they don't remember their previous life that they must have had a better life before if they could never accept a worse life now?

if dorathys story is true i find it strange she would be fixated on her previous life in egypt when by the sounds of it it wasnt very pleasant losing her mother early and having to commit suicide. Interesting. As a child, I saw memory pictures of a large farm house. There was a large garden in front of the house, in the distance there were large stones, trees and paint, and a horse-drawn carriage nearby. I remember what that big room looked like in the house. There we usually ate at a long wooden table. The cooking pot was in the middle of the table and we ate from it with spoons. It could have been 17-18. century? I "feel" like I was a child then. I went along the fields picking wild strawberries.
Now I recognized this house.. I saw it by chance in the picture. I also went there and the garden is as I described. I live about 100 km from this place in the same country. This place is now a small schoolhouse. I've never been inside, but I "know" what it was/is like. Now, grown up, I have suddenly started to dream about the second floor of this house.. I see the children studying, everything is modern. Weird. In Estonia is that school: Metsküla Algkool.
