I sincerely hope if I am reincarnated the next time I have money. I don't have to worry about where the rent and food money is coming from. I don't care about servants, big houses etc. Just money enough to live without fear of being evicted or starving or if the brakes go on my car. It would be wonderful.

If we all did, and none then feared death, then every time we had a problem in our lives, we may choose to take the easy option, and simply start again in another life. If that makes sense. Well they do actually it’s just we often only hear about the ones claiming to be famous because people find famous people so interesting especially those of the past. There are hundreds of past life stories from children and adults who are just simple people that lived and died well simply.
You’ve gotta watch the ones from children some of them are from regular people who died in wars or tragic accidents such as lightning or fires etc. very interesting because they’ll experience nightmares of their own death.

Very moving and evocative poem….. Your description of Marie Antoinette’s execution is so vivid that it seems as though you had witnessed it firsthand…….and perhaps you did, in another incarnation. I will never understand how anyone can be so barbaric as to enjoy the death of a fellow human being, especially one who did not personally wrong them.
I believe in past lives, but, I have to say, this one is a case of "colour me skeptical". Too much exactly as a writer would have made it. The description of the chateau could apply to dozens of them. The one thing that does give it some credibility is the dreadful birthmark on the lady's neck. She may have died in the past in such a terrible way, but perhaps without the just too-perfect story.
