Volcano has a higher DoT effect than burnout which is why nim is used. Volcano starting DoT is 10% of total damage the special dealt, while burnout is only 8%
Enel what if you were to equip poppi (one other then QT pi) with an earth core? Get the level 1 off of that then volcano with qt pi, and crossette as a base multiplier (10% better fusion combo bonus then non)? Not sure if it’d work out at all but who knows, thanks btw going for 100% at 440 hours wouldn’t have gotten this far without your videos haha
Hey Enel can you explain in detail and say the exact build you use to get the dot damage to start off at 400k because the highest i start mine at is only 200k and ive tried so many things and nothing increases it
Maybe it's when he applies rock. It's in the Topple but he activates that and breaks and topples very fast right before Zeke puts rock on Ken. I'm quite suspicious that's the trick to boost Volcano to such high starting DoT.
I'm not even coming close. I think it's because I don't have all tier VI Aux cores. What's the best missions to farm the Tier VI variants of the Night Vision and Fast Blade Switch. I keep missing important Break Points and getting nailed with his specials.
set everything to the easiest values in custom and farm chickenheat challenge: bear in mind that you might end up with more sunlight VI than night vision VI depending on rng: just switch everything to sunlight and fight in the day if that is the case. Hyper-easy custom is pretty funny actually, like chain attack in 10 seconds or lvl 4 even faster :)
What I don't understand is why are you able to start the DoT with 465k damage while I start with about 170k and then I smash with Corvin and get 240k and then 300k. Is Rock crucial to get so high starting DoT? Don't get me wrong, following your strat I killed Ken in about 4:20,what surprises me is how quickly you reach level cap, in just 3 smashes.
make sure stone applies to the enemy after topple then use volcano before topple expires. This should put your starting DoT between 300-500K and you'll only need 2-4 smashes to get it to damage cap. if you aren't going for speed, remember that the other forms of poppi and an overclock bangle can help you keep him locked before you need to use pneuma to break him in his enrage state.

Night Vision V is good enough actually, which you get from defeating the Level 75 enemies in Gormott.

I did everything exactly like you with the same items and all blades maxed but I cant reach cap damage what could i've done wrong
