No where in the bible does any scripture say we have to show gratitude for our salvation by giving a money income tithe.surely you arent suggesting that Christians are in any are expexted to pay for our free gift of salvation.there is no law of tithes and offerings other than to give freely and in sincere generosity and why does any christian have to approach Jesus via a bishop or any other intermediary.no Christian is obligated to pay a monetary income tithe
Easy for you to say - you were not born into poverty and you were not inflicted with hardship after you paid your tithes and fast offerings. It's easy to be a wise man when you live atop a a high mountain in an ivory tower.
@@bigyeet8252 I'm not talking about the testimony of the church --- I'm talking about the testimony of tithing and how tithing, as it's taught to us today, is bs and applicable only to wealthy, privileged people who are born into inheritance and abundance. Also how tithing, even to the privileged, is not being interpreted correctly. But what do you care - it's all platitudes and quick-fix, non-thinking solutions for people like you who changed the subject and don't focus on the insights being discussed
@@bigyeet8252 great ... maybe you can pray about polygamy and blood sacrifice and the covid19 jab and the adam/god doctrine and the Hoffman affair etc etc etc ... not saying you're wrong because I say you're right in part ... i believe the church is true but I do not believe all the teachings are correct or even clear. I also believe pray gives different people different answers; sometimes justly but often times a lazy pretense of the pray-er just wanting to justify their base desires and not actually wanting what God wants. When it comes to tithing, let's face it ... that's a cornucopia of paths relative to many different things and the "10% for all based on net income plus fast offerings" is very, very untrue for most people
Beautiful. I am so very glad to have found this online.
Amen

Pray to know of the truth of the church and its teachings, I know it is true through prayer

No one pays a gift either you owe or you give

@@michaelmerck7576 that's either a very wise saying or total broken english... I'm going with the latter
