@@meetandinspire they usually don’t work for me either unless the words resonate - like something I actually believe and is practical. Affirmations that are more like reminders rather than something I’m trying to be 😊
@@meetandinspireaffirmations used to not work for me either but I was 1. Not disciplined enough to do them everyday, 2. I didn't persist with the affirmations for a long period of time and 3. Didn't do other activities to support the new version of me I was aspiring to be. Affirmations are good but they're not magic. Repeating them a few minutes a day versus years of a really sh*tty mindset probably won't work well. Not saying this is your situation, just sharing what happened with me. I listened to affirmations while I slept for almost two years and even though I made some changes, it was nothing huge.

I had to unpack this for myself and decided that it might not be cheating but it's not what I deserve or am at peace with so - I left
I'm 20 and today my "almost something" blocked me on instagram and then ask me trough wts if we could talk. I really didn't understand. I told him "if you want to talk i prefer in person,thanks" and then blocked him 😅.
I don't know if that was the best decision but if talk then i will repeat the same cycle that he was playing so he could feel good about his actions. He lied to me about liking another girl and didn't commit to me. Then he started posting with her and left me stand by. I'm tired of if bull s* so I decided to move on and this week I'm starting therapy.
Pd: Also i dream about him blocking me on Instagram a few days ago so I think that was a sign from God to let go.

I really, really liked hearing your perspective about things. It's such a shift in thinking, but one I really think would benefit us all as women. Really, it was great to hear.
I’d seriously look closely at someone who is cheating on you.
I discovered this when looking after a young family and he wasn’t apologetic. Said it was my fault for being too focussed on childcare.
So I couldn’t deal with divorce and childcare, would’ve dealt with both badly so I accepted that I could do better, I did do better.
Still it never felt great, but not bad enough to go for a divorce.
Long story short, I discovered eventually he was a serial cheater, had multiple children with other women and was a gold digger.
Trying to get rid of currently, should’ve done earlier as he’s not inclined to settle and pay all his own bills so is being obstructive and draining my resources. Extreme case probably, but please be vigilant and don’t get played by someone who is just using you to provide a cosy domestic situation while he plays around constantly behind your back.
