... I met and spoke to Robert in Cincinnati Ohio in the 90's ... stood right in front of him and asked him "how is your mood"? he seemed to enjoy my question as it was the WILD MOOD SWINGS tour ... I didn't get a picture and I regret that ... BTW ... he answered by saying that he didn't like to meet people before the show but he would rather do it after ... as they had arrived late and weren't quite settled in yet ... as he looked shyfully at the floor ... then they whisked him away ... never in my life did I think I would stand so close let alone talk to him ... I am one lucky feller ...

Next year (2019) The Cure will close 40 years and Robert Smith personally, his 60 years, and I will watch The Cure for first time in my life in Athens, Greece, in the age of 53. For almost 40 years I love their music and their unique style. It was worth the wait. We grew up together. Every song of them is a part of my life. I'm excited. And I want to cry. I am 52 now. I was teenager when The Cure formed, back in 1979. Next year (2019) The Cure will close 40 years and Robert Smith personally, his 60 years, and I will watch The Cure for first time in my life in Athens, Greece, in the age of 53. For almost 40 years I love their music and their unique style. It was worth the wait. We grew up together. Every song of them is a part of my life. I'm excited. And I want to cry. For the music they gave to me, and for the years that have passed...
