Jovan Musk has been a staple for me since the 70s. Absolutely love it.
I still watch Silver Spoons. 😂

Perhaps it's my age...50.... I'm loving my childhood and teen era frags. White Linen is such a valuable frag in my collection. In fact I almost have all the Estée Lauder scents just to hold on to the memories of childhood. Also all the Elizabeth Taylor scents are quickly becoming my go to sotd's..... thanks for your content and 30 minutes is definitely not too long for me;)

Especially if you want to smell like a mechanic at a BBQ

You are killing me with these descriptions. I so get the “borders on disgusting” or “weird”-and I love it! So much so that sometimes when people describe things as animalic or gross, often all I smell is a warm, fuzzy hug. I am so excited to hear your reactions to all of these but especially Solstice Scents because I think they are so underrated. You have me so interested in Upstairs Window, which I have never tried. I love her honey + comb/hive scents so I bet I’ll love it. The Iced Wisteria + Persimmon are my new loves. I hope the iced tea scent returns. Have you tried Solstice Kyphi or Cellar? Soooo bizarre, absolutely obsessed. Lauren was my first full bottle of perfume (I don’t come from money + was a weird arty-punk kid but an elder sister who had money gifted it to me). I can never find it for a good price but you’ve promoted me to look again. I love some Bath + Body Works, too. Some real gems. Bill Blass Nude is on the way to me based on your recs! Have fun at the Solstice sale tonight + thanks again for your wonderful content.
PS: your Halston description has me in stitches. My late mom’s signature. No cigarettes or hussy-ness but a tough + great lady. She’d love your description!!

Its really nice to hear about why youre not interested in a minimal collection, but that you also have rules for selection. Ive been too obsessed with keeping my collection small lately (and half that reason is very limited space in my apartment) but im still so inspired by other's collections

Back in the day I would never have worn White Diamonds but I wear it at least once a week now!! It's a pick me up, it's a "got it together" scent and I'm loving it. Heavens does it last too!!!

Some of your descriptions are a hoot! Youth Dew smelling like dirty armpit and citrus! That was my grandmother’s favorite perfume, lol. I bought Halston a couple of years ago and it really packs a punch. I have to remember to pull it out. And I overdosed on Giorgio in the 80s, it was everywhere, so I just can’t go near it again. Charlie was my mom’s favorite for a long time and then I started wearing it in college. Thanks for the video! ❤️

Oh and I almost forgot Elizabeth Arden ones wow! I love Estée Lauder although, I don’t know if that’s an American designer.
