A couple awesome details: The timestamp on the original paused video in the cinema is the approximate age of the universe. They included several of the musical themes for -Myth- in their respective parts. Ame's BGM is the most obvious during the rewind, but I also heard Hinotori during Kiara's and Calli's fight, and Reflect while Gura is using her Trident. Once the Ancient Ones left Ina, she doesn't have her flaps, squishy hair, wings or pointy ears. All influence of the Ancient Ones is completely gone. The cinema bearing Council's icons implies that it's connected to the administration of the universe itself and effectively a form of control/observation room for the gods. That would mean Ame ripping out the film didn't just rewind the universe, it destroyed it entirely - making _her_ the "single entity" that wiped out the world.
Another thing, Sana's symbol is glitched, which obviously is a reference to her graduation, but remember, she's also a priestess of the Ancient Ones. So it could also imply that she's compromised. Council vs Sana maybe?
No no, I think the single entity is the AO, and the fact that the day of the Big Wipe is behind us and nothing happened, thanks to Hololive helping Ina keep her powers under control, is the proof that our universe is the "Good End" one
My theory for everything in the animation is this: This is a world without Hololive. Yes, all of Myth meet up and become friends, but there's nothing there to "contain" their power. Every cycle, September 13th 2022 is when the Ancient One decides that it's had enough. Ina is taken over and the war starts leading to the destruction of the world/universe every time. The Ame we follow ends up in the Council Chamber, but the Council don't have physical bodies in this and previous timelines. They're just concepts at this point. Sana's symbol being glitched hints at her graduation and also that she is an Apostle of the Ancient Ones per her lore. This indicates that whenever time is reset, the Ancient One knows and survives it. I believe the dead Ame's we see all attempted to rewind to a particular time inside of their own timeline and.. of course fail. But Ame is stubborn (#AmeWay) and refuses to give up, holding onto that sliver of hope that at least a future version of herself will be happy and succeed. Being the smart girl she is, I think she understands the significance of the glitched symbol.. perhaps not entirely, but enough to realize that to really save everyone, EVERYTHING needs to be reset. Thus she resets the entire universe. As the timeline is resetting, we catch a glimpse of a symbol in the clouds. IRyS is descending. Hope is returning. I think the combined Hope of all the past Ame's inside of the Council Chamber was enough to spark IRyS' rebirth and descent onto the world and thus bring us to the actual Good Ending. The Good Ending, as Mazu has stated, is the one we are currently living. Which then ties IRyS into whispering into Gura's ear during her first 3D Live animation, setting her on the path to joining Hololive. Sparking everything we have IRL today. In another stream, Ame was asked why she didn't reset the timeline when Coco announced her graduation.. and Ame responded with "This is the best timeline.." indicating that yes, we are in the Good Ending.. and things could have been much, much worse. I do wonder what Ame has seen that would make our current world the best possible timeline and if what Mazu has shown us is just a sampling of what Ame has been through.
With all that being said, Sana needing to graduate might have been necessary because her existence in the physical realm might have contributed to The Ancient One having an increasing influence on the universe, even with the outlets of its power that are the Takodachis, and her love for humanity and her friends necessitated a return to the cosmos in order to restore balance.
This is exactly how i saw the video, The time line we live in (IRL) is the one that was victorious with the best possible outcome. That said here is one thing that i think could be true perhaps. When the universe began to "rewind" we saw IryS's symbol in the clouds. While it does imply that "Hope is descending" and contributing to the "best ending" consider this: We saw the symbol of her "as the universe and time is a bout to be undone and start anew, i think this also implies that hope was actually about to descent again, if we remember back with IryS's lore, this was not her first time descending, but it was too late.... The universe was doomed to be destroyed. She did in fact descent in this broken timeline, but too late... So This version of Amelia was hoping for a better outcome, a timeline were everybody can live in harmony, but it also implies that "if Hope had descended earlier, things may have been different". And since we are (IRL) way past September 13th 2022, The embodiment of hope made it in time, contributing to the "best ending". just my theory to this.
I also think that because in our timeline we have a god-like entity like Omegaα present to oversee both Myth, Hope, and Council (plus Tempus), thus helping keep the balance so to speak. I say this because Omegaα has mentioned before being the very first staff member assigned to the EN branch, so lore wise that would mean a high being keeping things in check, with IryS as a guiding light and Council as balance keepers.
More interestingly, we don't know that AO possessing Ina is always the cause for the world ending. I find it more interesting if each iteration of the universe has a different Myth member losing control. Gura succumbs fully to her base instincts, reverting back to how she was when she was a cruel ruler of Atlantis. Or a timeline where she never stopped being that ruler, waging a war that ends all life. Calli going AWOL, reaping souls indiscriminately, possibly as a result of Kiara dying permanently. Kiara unleashing all of her fiery power because of a single moment of lost control. And in all of it, Ame is the one who tries her best to fix it, which is how we get all the dead Ames. Maybe there's a timeline where she has to fight all of them by herself. This is honestly one of my more out there ideas for Bad Ending. But I kinda like it.
@@ShadeSlayer1911 I could see that. However, out of all of the Myth members, the one with the most "malevolent" powers is Ina. The AO is based on the Cthulhu Mythos type monstrosities that exist outside of "reality" as we know it. The total destruction that she can unleash is just leagues beyond what Gura or Kiara could do. Calli would likely be stopped by Death-sensei pretty handily. Now.. the scariest one of them for going evil/losing control is Ame. We get a part of that in Bad End and various other media.. but an evil time traveler? Hoooo.. that's some horrifying stuff there.
What i love about mazu work is that the villain(ancient one) is smart and trying to destroy them all as fast as she can, trapping the two immortal being and then when ina try to stop her she just "fine i don't even need you" then blast them and she really tried to get ame with all she had the ancient one has no chill🥶
During the zoom out, Irys can be seen descending, so it could be that AO was really up against a deadline. In our (good) timeline, Irys descended much earlier, possibly preventing AO from going berserk in the first place.
@@assaulthetz380 AO-chan is kept in check by the takodachis in our timeline. Hololive never existed in the Bad Ending timelines, which means no Takos to keep AO's power in check.
I love how Mazu and Quasarcake are taking influences from each other, and overall, I love how EN's community has been the one building the lore for the girls as time goes on (ie. Ame originally not being a time traveller originally)
14:03 you can actually see irys descending..... So I guess AO-chan is up on a deadline to kill all the myth members because hope descends in just a minute.
17:17 - depends on the rules of time travel. What you were describing, I think, is called divergent timelines - changing the past, creates another reality, but also preserves to original timeline. But it is possible, that going back in time, interrupts the first timeline, and changes the future - think of it as time making a loop backwards, or a retrograde orbit. And then, you can have unchangeable time - the grandfather paradox. At the end of the day, time travel is complicated, even if it's in fiction.
many ppl have said it in the original video but we are in the "good end" timeline where they are all friends so thats the bright side :D its a conjecture of course, an assumption
It also ties to the other theories of Irys descending from when the world was being rewinded, also it is more likely that they were friends but were not part of Hololive.
I wondered if the blast that end Ina and Gura was from Kiara because theres a chirping noice and its more powerfull than the Ao laser, maybe Kiara and Calli try to get out and Ao let some of the attack thru and using it
I 100% believe time travel exists. But, the earth is moving, the solar system is moving, the milky way is moving and everything beyond is moving. If someone only moves through time theyll wind up in middle of nowhere space instead of anywhere even remotely close to earth
