Ame has the "main character" quality, as the only human among Mythical creatures.
I recommend "Detective Diaries" by Crash Landing Studios.
"We are living in the good ending." - Mazu.
17:06 "Gawr Gura - Shark'd" if you want more stuff like this.
Hololive Myth is the name of the first hololive EN generation which all have mythological background and consist of:
Calli - the death 1st apprentice
Gura - 9000+ old shark from Atlantis
Kiara - the immortal Phenix
Amelia - a human detective that somehow obtained the time manipulation abilities
Ina - a girl who found a old book and when she opened it she became the priestess of the the ancient god's from the cthulhu mythos "the ancient one's"
The second's countdown is representing the time from the beginning this now
The good ending is actually the one that we are living now where they are all friends and happy
And other hololive members are net there because ith is only the lore from the En branch exept from the council which is the second EN generation ( fauna, baelz, kronii, mumei, sana) you can see they're 5 respective mark's in the top of the screen when ame is inn the projection room
Maru or mazumaro have made this animation all by himself in the spam of a full Year and was always updating the progress on his Twitter som a huge number of people was waiting for this to finish with the hololive EN girls in that group too, some of them we're even . willing to lend they voice's to dub it, that's how amazing this work is so i am really glad and grateful for you finally reacting to this 💜
Some clarification: Myth refers to Hololive EN Generation 1 Talent Group. The 5 members are Gura, Calli, Kiara, Watson and Ina. They were the first 5 female EN VTubers of the Hololive Group and all had a lore released together with their debut. This lore has Mythological Origins and has been expanded by the Community and this Project is one that was created in result of this from the Animator Mazu.
A short summary of the character for each of them:
Gura: Nine Thousand year old Shark Girl from Atlantis
Calli: Death Apprentice (Grim Reaper)
Kiara: Phoenix
Watson: Timetraveling Detective
Ina: The Priestess of the „Ancient Ones“ with a Book Familiar Called AO-Chan (Cthulhu Mythos)
Slight clarification: Gura is halfway into her 9000's (Although with Gura's math no-one knows where exactly in her 9000's she is)
@@thevonya3977 gura is like me, cant math
Uh~ Ina is the Priestess of the Ancient One (the one who possesed her).
@@thevonya3977 thanks, corected it

If you start looking into the Hololive Fancontent you will quickly come to realize that this community attracts talent like crazy. Be it artists, animators or even game designers.
and its started with yagoo wanting to see cute girls doing cute things XD
@@jdogzerosilverblade299 an idol group like AKB47.
Ah this sounds like a fun rabbit hole to explore!!
You forgot about the Writers, the literal heart of the lore
@@GOTGames you should totally check out HoloCure which is a game created by fans, there will be an update soon coming on the 10th of february
This Fan animation builds off of the Lore of each of the girls in Hololive EN. Mostly the members of Myth, Gura, Ina, Calliope, Kiara and Amelia. There are references to IryS and Council (Baelz, Kronii, Fauna, Mumei, and Sana), but they're more cameos than anything. I'm sure you'll get more comments explaining where they are.
The seconds seen in the video are the approx amount of Seconds up until now, yes!
So in the Lore, Ina is the Priestess of the Ancient Ones (think cthulu mythos)
In this animation, The Ancient Ones, for whatever reason, have taken over Ina, and are bent on taking over the world. The rest of the Myth girls are attempting to stop them and save their friend.
And as far as a "Good Ending".....
We're living in it.
The ending where they're all friends, all streaming together in Hololive.
I'm still hoping that he's just still working on the Good Ending and we'll get it in a couple months but I know I'm in the minority
@@benl.ofthegamecatarmy Mazu has said we're in the Good Ending. Don't get your hopes up.
We know this is the good timeline because of the tweet from Ame on Coco's graduation (1-Jul-2021): "this may not seem like the best timeline, but let's make the best of it 😉🙏trust me!"
I'm guessing the 5th WAH causes the bad end. This is the reason to stop at the 3rd WAH and the 4th WAH is a warning.
@@rainmorga that's perfectly fine, none of us are leaving the 4th Wah any time soon so we're perfectly safe😏
Some Easter eggs for you: as time is rewinding and the camera flies up through the clouds, the glowing wings briefly seen represent Irys, another Hololive EN member whose lore is that she represents hope. Also the 5 symbols above the projector represent the 5 members of Hololive EN's Council group, whose lore is that they are the 5 aspects of the universe; Time, Space, Nature, Civilization, & Chaos. The planet symbol for the Space aspect is glitchy because Sana had already sadly "graduated" (meaning retired) and left Hololive.
Since we are talking about easter eggs, many of the musical themes in the animation are easter eggs for the 5 Myth members:
-The music that starts at the beginning of the animation and goes all the way up to the start of the fight is made up of parts of the BGM that plays during Ina's streams.
- When Calli is fighting Ina an orchestral version of "Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You RIP?"
- When Kiara joins the fight a version of her first original song, "Hinotori" starts in.
- When Gura fights Ina, the music takes elements from "Reflect."
- The music from the point just after Ina has returned to herself is from "Violet."
- The grand finale when the timeline is destroyed/reset, is based on Amelia Watson's stream BGM.
13:33 if you are wondering where is hope descending.
Theory of mine is that the events of the bad end meant she was too late and had she been in time then this could have probably been contained.
Another thing is that Hope would have followed on the fight against Ina if Watson failed. Considering her new design has her in a more cheerful palette, this version of her could have ended in the more edgy or dark version of her. Leaning more on her devil side.
Oooo the detail is amazing!!! 🤯
I like to believe that guras “shark’d” animation is the continuation of this animation
While the space symbol glitching is probably more related to Sana graduating than otherwise there is also the lore connection she has with the Ancient Ones (the ones Ina is the priestess of and who are possesing her in this animation) which could be an in-universe (watsonian as opposed to doylist) explanation for it.
Well this was entirely unexpected. But yeah, this is one of the greatest animated projects I've ever seen. The dedication to this one thing for so much time...I could never even hope to come close to that level of focus.
Had to check this out and so glad I did!!
Fun Fact: Calli and Kiara expressed their desire to voice act their voice lines. Imagine we could have had a dubbed version of this. that would be sick.
Did not see it in another comment, but each of the girls also has an orchestral remix of one of their songs: Calli's RIP, Kiara's Hinatori, Gura's Reflect, Ina's Violet, and Ame's ending themes.
Mazu animated this is segments over the course of 1.5 years, based largely on the character lore.
Ina's lore is she is a priestess of an Old God (The Ancient One), and this story seems to imply that she was taken over or consumed by it. Calli and Kiara are immortal in the lore, the personification of death and a phoenix, so Ina / the Ancient One can't ever win against them (since they are immortal), so instead seems to push them out of existence for a while. Gura is a shark that can turn in to a person, from Atlantis, with the implication that there is some sort of magic going on there (there is also a bit of foreshadowing, in Gura remembering Ina's words to "try again"). She also has a more violent side, the red Gawr, that she transforms into in order to fight Ina. Ina herself finally breaks free of The Ancient One's control, losing the squishy tentacle hair and hallow in the process (and presumably any powers that came from the AO), but it was too late. Ame herself goes multiverse of madness on it, transporting herself to a location that seems to be outside of time, where she proceeds to reset the universe.
The specific date chosen for that end card was the anniversary of the day the girls first debuted in Hololive. Also, there was a small extra scene as part of the credits at the end, to further indicate that the world was reset. The choice of calling the short "Myth's Bad End" implies that there is a "Good End", the current timeline we are in.
The screen Ame looked at originally is the age of the universe in real time.
The happy ending many wanted js technically now, they are friends and stream for us to enjoy.
Ame is a time traveling detective, she rewinds time in the hope to change the future.
The creator used the background music of each Holomyth member in the music for the video.
Checking the "Myth's Bad Ending 🎵 Official Soundtrack 【Music Only】" on the composer's channel (@DarylBarnes), the score uses motifs from Ina's BGM, Calli's original "失礼しますが、RIP", Kiara's original "HINOTORI", Gura's original "REFLECT", Ina's original "VIOLET" and Ame's BGM. At the time Ame didn't have an original song, otherwise I'm sure it would have been worked in somewhere too.
I like to believe that Ame didnt rewind time since she said 'You are ME', meaning she understood what the other Ame wanted. Instead of rewinding, she broke the timeline.
@@throndaxlostsoul4969 I don't know about that, I took it as she did rewind it, just as her previous selves did. The film burned into the others' hands shows that they did the same thing that she did, and the fact that she is there shows that it didn't work when they did it, the timeline still unfolded the same way. Thus the message from the first(?) Ame saying that there was nothing they could do. I think her "You are ME" line was more a realization that they all knew this too, they all came to the same conclusion that they couldn't change things, but they all also did it anyways, just like she was going to. She asked "What do I do?" but the answer is literally laying on the floor around her, they are her, she is them, faced with the same situation, knowing what the outcome would be, she would still choose to try, to hope in the face of hopelessness, that eventually things would turn out better.
@@phiefer3
Hence why hope was descending.
@@phiefer3 That's why HOPE descended, also I think Council also helped to fix the timeline and everything that has happened like Civilization fixed itself, Chaos removed all those that was the cause of destruction, Nature's the same as Time (referencing to how Earth was created) that Stormy clouds but Idk how to explain it, and Time rewinding/restarting to 0. Imo, HOPE wanted to help before the first Ame died but Council was hesitant and until before that last Ame die, they couldn't help it anymore and agreed to HOPE. My theory is Oa is stopping or watching the Council so that they can't interfere because of the probability that everything will be just for naught and they'll break the whole dimension/universe that they know of or like their powers will be reduced to almost nothing or just be completely gone.
The primary thing to know about Hololive English Myth (also called HoloMyth, the group with Calli, Gura, Kiara, Ina and Amelia) is that their lore states that Calli is the Grim Reaper's apprentice, Kiara is an immortal phoenix, Gura is a shark girl from Atlantis, Ina is a human girl who received power from some eldritch entity from her book and Amelia is a time traveller. That's just about all the context needed for Myth's Bad Ending to make sense.
Also, there are easter eggs showing other members of Hololive English (specifically Council and IRyS.) The biggest easter egg though is that in Myth's Bad Ending, the world ends on September 22 of 2022, but the video came out in October. This implies that we are currently living in Myth's Good Ending.
Yeah, all the Hololive members have character lore that goes along with their avatars.
Gura's an Atlantean shark girl, Kiara's a phoenix, Calli's Death's apprentice, and most importantly to this video, Watson is a time traveling detective and Ina is a girl who stumbled upon some eldritch force called the ancient one and was given it's power.
As time went on, the girls kind of don't mess with the lore so much any more, but a lot of fans still like to build on it which is where this video comes from.
In this video the ancient one's power has taken over Ina and she's become an unstoppable monster so Watson basically does a hard reset on the universe to try for a better end. I think the creator of it suggested the "good ending" is the timeline we are living in now where all the girls just play games and sing and such in streams.
Fun note: this video is also stuffed with fun references of all sorts of things in Hololive. All the bits you see when Watson is surfing through reality are versions of her from various streams and jokes. Also in the chamber where the youtube video of the universe is playing you can see 5 icons at the top that represent the 5 members of the second EN generation, who in their lore are basically all gods of different aspects of the universe. Sana represents space and she graduated that year (left Hololive) so her icon is static and flashing. You can also see IRys's icon briefly as the universe is resetting symbolizing hope.
In comment people said a lot about this video. Mazu made this animation alone in about a year.
17:30 - Mousey friends with Calli, so yeas, she knows them very well.
I'd like introduce other great animations to watch:
1. Detective Diary - by Crash Landing Studios.
2. A SPACE ODYSSEY - by Alice Magic. He made MV for Hakos Baelz's song "Millions Miles Away". But this animation better to awtch after seeing all HoloCouncil girls (Kronii, Bae, Mumei, Fauna, Sana) and Sora (check out her cover on vocaloid's "威風堂々", there singing 5 Hololive Divas)
3. Hololive Alternative 1 and 2.
マリン出航!! - Marine's original MV. Anime quality like Watame's My Story.
It's amazing that they made this on their own!! Incredible 💯❤️
Thank you so much for reacting to this one, Luke.
This is just a fanmade animation, not a part of a game, song, or anything. The animation focus on HoloEN Generation 1 or HoloMyth specifically. Some lore to the character of HoloMyth that you might not know: Kiara is a phoenix, Watson is a detective and a time traveller, and Ina is a priestess of the ancient one (like from Cthulu mythos).
From what I understand from the animation, it shows an event where Ina loses control of her power and is taken control by the ancient one. And other Myth members are trying to stop her.
There are easter eggs here and there, for example, the BGMs during the fight scene are from each member's usual stream BGM or their original songs, the symbols at the back of the theatre are of the HoloEN Council members, and the light flying in the sky in the time rewinding scene is IRyS.
Also, Ironmouse is and Calli are really close friend.
Thank you for reacting to this! This animation was over a year of work from the animator (Mazu), and you can see the passion in his work! As you get to know Hololive and their personality, this may hit harder! HoloMyth refers to the Hololive EN gen 1; in this group is Gura, Calli, Kiara, Amelia, and Ina. The reason why they're refer to Myth is because they represent Mythical things. Calli is a reaper, Kiara is a phoenix (chicken), Ina is a priestess of the Old One, Gura is from Atlantis, and Ame is a time traveling detective.
The Cameos are Hololive Council and IRyS.
During the projector, above it are 5 symbols, representing the Council Members: Baelz, Kronii, Fauna, Mumei, and Sana. Sana's symbol flickered to symbolized her graduating from Hololive a month before this was released. IRyS's cameo is the light in the clouds during the zoom out to the planet and then the galaxy. IRyS's lore is that she's HOPE, so seeing her symbol means there's hope to a good ending. Mazu has tweeted out that the good ending is our current timeline, where all of them are streaming and having fun together.
To explain Council, they represent/govern guardianship on certain aspect:
Baelz imbodies Chaos
Kronii imbodies Time
Fauna imbodies Nature
Mumei imbodies Civilization
Sana imobodies Space
Mazu is an animator and did the full animation and story by himself in his freetime (it took about 1,5 years). For the release of this video he comissioned DaphDafDave for sfx and Daryl Barnes for music. The music is remixes of the Myth members original songs (well in Ame's case its her bgm because she didn't released an original at the time).
- The Ancient One having so much trouble with Gura that the only time it had the distinctive upper-hand was after Gawr disappeared and Gura reappeared, goes back into the mythos of H.P. Lovecraft, in which Atlantis has a distinctive connection to the eldritch horrors that exist in dark space (think The Reapers from Mass Effect, but actually beyond human comprehension). Atlantis was founded by the Greek deity Poseidon, who imbued his trident with his power - and this is the same trident that Gura wields. Look it up sometime; very interesting read. Now, mind you, Gura had no real chance as she is a berserker rather than a sage, but the battle forced TAO to reveal its true self for a moment, in order to reform Ina (its puppet/vessel).
- Conversely, Kiara and Calli knew that their inherent immortality would work against them, because TAO would take them seriously from the very moment they engaged Ina.
- The various themes that play during the battle are references to the girls' various original songs, from Calli's "Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?" to "Reflect." A nice touch, IMO.
- Ironically, it's believed that the Takodachis are a sort of limiter or power-leech for Ina, as they do not exist in this timeline (Hololive does not exist, and thus you see no references to them streaming or anything) to support Ina. The result is that Ina is eventually unable to appease The Ancient One, and it uses her to invade Earth.
- Amelia is indeed the true threat because of her space-time artifact, which allows her to traverse the different possible timelines. Even TAO exists within space-time despite it being an eldritch being, so abilities beyond that would inherently pose a significant risk. Myth knew it, TAO knew it.
- Sana's symbol flickering is due to her own connection to TAO, as it does exist within her domain, and as an acolyte she would be the method in which TAO survives each attempt of fixing the timeline. It would also be the in-universe reason for Sana needing to leave so early in the good timeline (ergo, in our own reality, as Mazu explained in a Twitter post), as she cannot let TAO to gain any more influence than it had accumulated by both hers and Ina's presence.
- The timestamp of the in-universe video is how the estimated age of the known universe is displayed in hour-format (comes out to, if memory serves, 13.7 billion years - correct me if I'm wrong).
- By destroying the film, she basically rewinds time all the way to the very beginning, thus resetting the universe. I believe that, although she does experience the various Ames during the time-space jump, that she's not jumping through multiple universes but rather experiencing flashes of moments in history that her previous selves experienced in their own timelines - or else could be her limited, human mind trying to absorb the fantastical things she's seeing and putting them into a context she can actually comprehend (hence why her body reacts so violently after she finally comes to a stop in the Council viewing room.
- At the end, as the camera zooms out from the world, you can see a distinct, white-lit winged shape being formed in the clouds. Some thought it was Kiara reappearing, but the shape is more distinctly IRyS's - the Hope of a brighter future has been birthed from Ame's actions in the Council observation room (NGL, I thought a YT video being projected onto a screen with an old-school projector was absolute GENIUS) and thus, in the reset timeline, she now has enough of a presence to bring Gura's attention to the Hololive talent agency. As a result, she meets Ina and the others, and they form the EN Gen1: Myth group (which happens in Gura's Cover-approved animated opening "Shark'd").
This was a brilliant short-film, and Ame absolutely LOVES it (she and a couple of the other members of Myth expressed interest in doing voice-overs for it). I would love to see him do something for Council and TEMPUS in the future, especially with the newly-released Vanguard group.
I felt a bit bad that he didn’t know Amelia especially since she’s such a keystone character in this and her first original song just came out so he couldn’t have reacted to her yet
Well we will just have to change that! Need to learn more 💯💯
@@GOTGames a quick introduction, Amelia Watson is the last of the HoloMyths to debut. She's known for having a creative way of thinking and the dimensions she passed in this video are just other timeline Ame that she created. She is also acknowledged by the other members as their leader. Ame knows she sucks at singing but ever since debuting she's been doing a lot of singing streams. And now she currently posted her first ever solo original song. I hope you also check it out since it's practically her song and only hers lol.
@@GOTGames it’s ChikuTaku if you need to find it
Ame is not really a singer even though her crazy karaoke streams are great. I would expect a music review/react channel to not really go into her content. Same for Noel.
That said, not sure if he has reacted to Violet from Ina. That song is adorable and watching her in 3d perform it last year sent chills down my spine.
*This might be the most impressive feat of fan animation on all of RUclips,* and there are OTHER examples of great fan works for Hololive characters that aren't that far off from this one. The love fans have for Hololive's characters is amazing. I hope you'll find others to react to.
OK, I love this too but "all of youtube" is a waaay too high of a bar.
There is some absolutely breathtaking stuff out there.
@@patec7485 I didn't say "is," I said, "might be." BTW, what "fan animations" out there beat this?
@@yohannbiimu I'd argue that Astartes does. It's a Warhammer 40K 3D animation series.
@@tjl9458 From what I've just seen, from the videos, and what the makers of this series have said themselves, "Astartes" is working with the developers and animators for Warhammer to make these, so it seems like he's got a lot of other bodies and resources to back him up. And, if I'm overlooking something and that isn't how this started out, it's still a work using the models and set designs from a property that isn't his. He had to get their permission to make these.
I wouldn't call these "fan animations" in the sense that it's a guy who has designed his own 3-D models and sets. This is promotional material for the game, and I'd imagine that he's making a lot of money doing them.
Regarding the animations themselves, while the designs and effects are cool, it's basically "robots" stomping around and shooting other things. I know that I'm not mentioning other things going on (like special effects and such), but frankly, I cannot get emotionally invested, in watching videos about things stomping around and shooting other things. It's just about as basic as 3-D animation can get: mechanical objects, moving around mechanically whilst killing other mechanical creatures and breaking things.
If you like that sort of thing because you play this game and it is everything you love about it, then that's great, for you. For someone who hasn't spent any time at all with this franchise, and just looking at what it is and appears to be, it isn't telling me anything that I'd want to see an entire motion picture about (the amount I watched is all that I'll ever want to see). It's conflict minus any emotion and drama.
On the other hand, "Myth's Bad End" is obviously using original character models and set designs, created in the animator's personal style. They are animated, not just with proper weight and fluidity, but with dynamic layouts and character poses. A lot of artistic talent went into making it work, rather than copying robot models and owning the technology to be able to move them around realistically.
The scene cuts in MBE take you all over perhaps a one-square-mile area, showing action in a comprehensible sequential manner, not just trudging through corridors and being confined in small spaces. Something exciting is happening ALL THE TIME in this video, with gorgeous music that accentuates what is going on. In terms of FILMMAKING, MBE is much superior to "Astartes."
@@yohannbiimu He didn't start out getting assistance doing Astartes. It was only after it became popular that he got assistance. I think the direction in parts of Astartes is a lot better than MBE.
Incase you were wondering, Gura absorbed her Trident and shifted to "Red Gura" aka "Gawr". It her savage, dark, negative side and was a concept she introduced on accident by her managers recommendation for her original song Reflect. Later she started using it to do "edgy emo" themed streams and became Canon lore in the official origin video she made for her first 3d live on her birthday in 2022.
Thank you for reacting to this! Myth's Bad Ending is one of my favorite things to come out of the massive rabbit hole of talent that is the Hololive fanbase, which is saying a lot when most fan generated content you can find out there is already above and beyond expectations.
I'll try to clear up a couple questions you had; Hololive tends to group their talents into 'Generations', four to five Vtubers who debut together and are considered to be a little closer to one another than to the others-almost like classmates in a school, your 'generation' would be your grade with everyone else being the older and younger grades. Holomyth specifically is the name of the first English Vtuber generation; Calli, Ina, Gura, Kiara, and Ame. Their lore is all related to myths in some way-A grim reaper, a phoenix, an Atlantian, a Cult lead... uhhh a Lovecraftian Goddess, and the Detective who is hot on the trail of these mysterious beings.(The Time-Traveler part was added later on by Ame herself lol)
I can't recall where exactly, but I believe that when asked whether Ame finds a way past the bad ending, Mazumaro implied that the 'good ending' was the timeline we are living through right now, which I think is such a fantastic way of thinking of it all.
As for easter eggs, I couldn't tell you how long exactly the world has existed, but I can tell you there are quick references to the other English Hololive talents; Holo Council which consists of Sana, Bae, Kronii, Mumei, and Fauna, and IRyS from Project Hope. I'll let you find those on your own! :D
P.S. I don't know if you've reacted to any of IRyS's songs before? I would recommend all of them(all of everyone's songs, really), but especially Gravity, Sparks of Joy, or HERE COMES HOPE.
Sorry if this was too much at once! I'm loving your reactions, your enthusiasm and excitement for everything you watch or listen to is incredibly infectious and awesome! Keep it up!
Right. So, Ina is a Priestess of the Old Ones. She gets possessed by one(?) of said Old One’s and goes ham on the girls. Amelia Watson is a Time Traveler Detective. She spent the whole time calculating a way to hit the reset on this sequence of events. Didn’t work. Gura getting the darker colors was her reverting to Gawr, the feral, and depending on the version of her origin, Atlatian War Criminal. This was just a big fan project using the Lore Myth came out with.
Iron Mouse is friends with several of the Hololive cast. She has had Calli, Bae, Ollie, and Haachama on her talk show, at least.
The game mentioned, Holocure, is a vampire survivor like game, a reverse bullet he’ll sort of thing, using EN, and some of the JP cast as characters with abilities based around their lore and personality traits. The game is a massive love letter to Hololive including in jokes and references to just about every member, and uses the Fan Base as enemies. Still being updated. Done by the person who did the [Q] video.
This is one of those things that you can certainly watch to appreciate how absolutely FANTASTIC the animation is but afterwards I would encourage anyone who's curious and who doesn't know all of the surrounding lore to watch one of the many videos breaking this down by it's lore because it's even more enjoyable when you take it in from that perspective.
the amount of time in the video is the amount of time in the universe, so Ame there reset creation back to the big bang in order to obtain one more chance at saving her friends. according to the animator we are living in the good timeline where these events did not come to pass, since we are already beyond the date shown in the video as the end of everything. also Amelia is a Dimension-time traveling detective, like a mixture of doctor who, and rick from rick and morty.
A few point I want to share
When Ame entered this cinema kind of place, you can see that there's a youtube video with a timer, that timer from that youtube video is the time the universe has theorically existed..
After everything is restarted, this timer resets from the Big Bang
As per the date September 13th, 2022 the world was destructed by a single entity. This animation was released after that date, so many people found it confusing, but if you think about it for a little while, that only means we are living the "Myth's good ending", Ame managed to avoid the destruction of the world
Also, this animation was being updated from time to time, so we managed to see this "destruction of the world" many times. just as if Ame were reseting the world over and over again every time the animation was updated
Man, it's always nice to see a reaction to this where you're going in completely blind. A lot of the reactions I've seen have been from people that had seen parts of it while it was a work in progress.
Hell yeah! So much talent involved in the making of this thing - and a long time to do so.
Edit: If you're interested in more animations, there are some fully-voiced manga-style animations involving the group "UMISEA". UMISEA is Aqua, Marine, Gura, and Ina. There are 4 episodes and some songs in the playlist if you simply search for "UMISEA Hololive". It's on the main channel.
Always super impressed by the fan creations in this community. We really need to get you to check out Holocure and Flare Nuinui quest.
FINALLYYYY
I am glad you are reacting to it 🔥👀
Edit: Quick answering some things:
- MYTH is the name of Gura, Calli, Kiara, Ina and Amelia as a group.
- Mazu made this ...for fun? Took a year to make. Mazu was doing it and posting it on twitter little by little so it got popularity over time. Is a great story and the girls know about it. In Mazu's words: We are living the good ending.
- Mousey loves Hololive members, and is a really good friend of Calli, she reacts to some stuff from time to time.
I am sure people will talk more lore wise. Specially about Ina and Ame. But that's all I am gonna say. 😁
Haven’t finished watching your reaction, but just in case you didn’t know or no one had mentioned it, this WHOLE THING was animated/written/etc by ONE guy. It’s truly amazing how much talent is in this community.
Edit: it would have DEFINITELY helped to know more of the lore of each girl, but you essentially got the idea of the story.
Also it’s kinda hard to suggest something from Amelia. She does now have an original song, which I guess you could react to, but it wouldn’t really do any justice without knowing her singing growth over the last couple of years. To sum it up in the shortest way I can think of, she was basically tone deaf. She had a bleeding ears emote for members of her chat for when she sang.
If you want more stuff like this, the EN girls did a mini series for holoween that was written by Fauna ,AKA Mommy Nature, of hololive EN Council (the 2nd wave of English hololive vtubers)
For the meme: The one of many reasons (in theory) and still possibly the causes Ina went ballistic was that the Timeline is filled with 4th Wah or calling her flat jokes... Also be advised when you look out for the 4th Wah.
And some Easter eggs: A standing meme/lore why Ame is the one most dangerous or opposed among her Mythical group because out of all Myth members only Ame is sole human (although Ina is self-proclaimed "human" turned Ancient in her Lore), she's Hololive's #1 Time Traveling Detective, still not convinced yet?
Ok fine, in her Lore Ame is British.
Good to see you enjoying this animation! It is mind-bendingly incredible in both conception and in being animated!
The reason this video is called "Myth's Bad Ending" is becuase it revolves around the lore of the different members of "Holomyth", the first five members of Hololive English: Calli, the Shinigami; Kiara, the Phoenix; Gura the atlantean shark; Ame, the detective who is also a time traveler; and Ina, priestess of the old gods, who in this fan animation loses control and thus everyone else tries to stop her. That is also why there weren't any other Hololive members in this, though the members of Holocouncil (the second group of EN girls) are referenced when Ame arrives in that theater through the symbols on the wall.
It took a long while for this animation to be finished but it was well worth the long wait!
Its a fan-made animation project, of frankly absurd quality. HoloMyth is the name for the first group of english v-tubers from hololive. All the stuff in the video is taking the "lore" of their characters and putting them in a "but what if a giant absurd anime fight tho?"
Watson has time travel related powers in the story, so presumably this was the bad ending and there will be at least one, possibly more, others with different endings.
Yes! I've been waiting for you to find this!
The amount of talent inspired by the hololive rabbit hole is just immense
I found your channel the other day and binged so many of your videos, and then just yesterday I suggested this recommendation and today I get to see you react to it! Super super happy you got to experience this amazing animation with us! Can't wait to see more of your vids!
This was Myth's Bad Ending, Holo Myth is Gura, Ina, Calli, Kiara and Ame so they're the only ones in this though Holo Council is referenced in the symbols in the theater
To answer your questions, this exists because Hololive has been a HUGE inspiration to a whole lot of creative people who have been making art, stories, animations, songs, full fledged VIDEO GAMES, memes, cosplays, skins for Video Games, and pretty much anything else. A lot of artists have credited various members of Hololive as what got them either inspired to create things, or get back into being creative. Hololive fan projects are a WHOLE OTHER rabbit hole you could spend literally years exploring! A few notable recommendations from my own personal favourites: Kabedondere (RUclipsr who created several awesome Hololive rap songs), HoloCure (a free video game, inspired by Vampire Survivors that pretty much every VTuber has played by now), 2manysnacks (another RUclipsr who creates awesome little animations combined with actual clips from streams that elevate the clip to new levels of hilarious!).
Yes, you actually missed a metric TON of references, Mazumaro put so many references to lore, events and just fun stuff for the community, so I think you might have watched this a little too soon to be able to get all of it, but nevertheless, I'm glad you really enjoyed it as even without those references this animation stands on its own!
To give you a little clarification, the time on the video (originally) was approximate age of the universe (in hours, minutes and seconds) to roughly 13.7 billion years. So yes, when it restarts at 0 seconds with a bang, that's literally the Big Bang creating the universe anew because Watson destroyed the entire universe.
Throughout each of the different members turn to fight, you could hear an orchestral rendition of each of their first original songs. (Excuse my Rudeness but could you please RIP for Calli, Violet for Ina and Reflect for Gura you heard, but you haven't heard Hinotori - Kiara's first original, and since Watson didn't have an original song until literally a few days ago, Mazu used an orchestral version of "papaya" which was Watson's long time BGM during her streams).
When the projector is first seen, you see 5 symbols above it, those are symbols for Nanashi Mumei - The guardian of Civilization (Owl), Ceres Fauna - the Guardian of Nature (leafy branch), Ouro Kronii - The guardian of Time (hourglass), Hakos Baelz - Chaos Incarnate (Dice), and Tsukumo Sana - The guardian of Space (the ringed planet). These are all references to the members of Hololive Council, the 2nd generation of Hololive English branch. Their lore is that they are not persons as much as concepts given physical form, concept that they are each the guardian of. And the implication is that Watson ended up in, basically, their command center from which they observe the universe.
Lastly, after Watson rips the film and we are shown the universe being undone, there's a brief moment during which as the camera rises through the clouds a bright pattern can be seen, that pattern is the symbol for IRyS (Hololive: Project Hope) whose basically the personification of Hope. It it my personal belief that Watson, through her numerous failed attempts to find a winning scenario, resetting the entire universe, gives rise to Hope, which changes the events that play out in the next cycle (which is the one we're currently in, the "Good End").
Coincidently, there is additional "proof" for this in Gura's little animation "Get Shark'd", which I don't believe Mazu could've known about, and yet you see that IRyS was the little influence that changed events that lead to Gura (and by assumption, the rest of Hololive Myth) to join Hololive, and therefore preventing the events of this video from repeating again. It's a very amusing coincidence that really gives this lore an extra deep meaning, most likely completely unintentionally.
Little nitpick, like most reactors you didn't watch the video to the END and missed the last few frames of the story that Mazu put after the credits!
I could write a lot more, but I think this is enough of a wall of text for you. Let me know if you'd like to know more.
HoloMyth (or just Myth for short) specifically refers to the 1st generation of English Hololive members consisting of Calliope Mori, Takanashi Kiara, Ninomae Ina'nis, Gawr Gura, and Amelia Watson.
Myth's Bad Ending was an animation made by one of the fans over the course of several months, releasing several small updates of a few seconds of new animation each over a long period of time until the video you just watched was completed. The video focuses primarily on the 5 members of Myth, though it also throws a nod to the 2nd generation of English Hololive members (HoloCouncil) consisting of Tsukumo Sana (Space), Ceres Fauna (Nature), Ouro Kronii (Time), Nanashi Mumei (Civilization), and Hakos Baelz (Chaos). The theater that Ame lands to after time travelling is connected to Council's Headquarters, and it displays their 5 oshii marks (emoji fans use as shorthand to identify their favorite) above the projector (10:46 in this video, 8:21 in the original). Notably, Sana's planet symbol is flickering out as a tribute to the fact that she had to retire from Hololive early due to personal health issues that made streaming difficult for her.
Part of Ina's Lore is that she is a Priestess of the Ancient ones ala Eldritch Old gods, she has a Book Called AO-chan (I think) which is an Ancient one/or her conduit to them and the reason she has her not entirely human look, per the video lost control and possessed by AO Chan and the other members of HoloMyth (Calliope, Kiara, Gura, Ina, Watson) are trying to stop her.
Amelia's Lore has evolved from being a normal detective to having gained the power to time travel via that watch she used to get to the Projector room. on the wall were the Holo Council symbols That represent the concepts they are to incarnate as. (given that they likely had not debuted as Vtubers at the time the project was started)
Nanashi Mumie (Guardian of Humanity), Ceres Fauna (Keeper of Nature), Ouro Kronii (Warden of Time), Hakos Baelz (Chaos) (Leader) and Tsukumo Sana (Speaker of Space). Along with a Cameo of IRYS (Hope) Descending to the world as the timeline was being reset.
Mazu has mentioned either on the video comment or twitter that we are in the Good timeline.
I recommend watching '"Myth's Bad Ending" is a Masterpiece' by schnee. He does an excellent breakdown of not just why it's so good even from the POV of not knowing the lore. It'd really help you understand the narrative
Ok there's a LOT of context and lore behind this and it's definitely gonna be overwhelming trying to absorb it all, but lemme try to summarize and explain it as clearly as I can as a hardcore Hololive fan:
HOLOMYTH is another name for Hololive's 1st generation of English speaking VTubers. It consists of Calliope Mori, Takanashi Kiara, Ninomae Ina'nis, Gawr Gura, and Amelia Watson. It's called Holomyth because all of the members are based around a theme of mythology (Grim Reaper, phoenix, eldritch entity, ancient shark from Atlantis, and the detective investigating it all).
CALLIOPE MORI (aka Calli) is a 'shinigami' (what we in English-speaking countries would compare to a Grim Reaper). She does the whole typical 'reaping souls' thing and is often depicted in lore doing just that.
TAKANASHI KIARA (aka Kiara) is a phoenix in a human form. She has an interesting dynamic with Calli (the Grim Reaper assigned to reap the soul of a phoenix that just keeps reviving and coming back to life), and lore often depicts them as being close friends due to their long history together.
NINOMAE INA'NIS (aka Ina) is a regular human, but one in possession of a book containing what we assume is some sort of eldritch deity. This eldritch entity is assumedly what gives Ina her the cute flaps on her head, her tentacles, and her magical abilities.
GAWR GURA (aka Gura) is a shark girl from the lost underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Similar to Bruce the shark from Finding Nemo, she has some sort of 'other side' to her that's more violent and bloodthirsty. We call this violent version of Gura 'Gawr'. Gawr is depicted as looking like Gura but with a red jacket, red eyes, and red streaks in her hair.
AMELIA WATSON (aka Ame) is a time travelling detective in possession of a certain mysterious time-traversing watch stolen from the Warden of Time. With it, she assumedly has the ability to jump around the timelines.
THE COUNCIL (aka HoloCouncil) in real life is Hololive's 2nd generation of English speaking VTubers. However in lore, they are a council of five deities that essentially manage the universe. They're depicted in this video as the five symbols in the mysterious movie theater at the end. They are:
-Owl: NANASHI MUMEI (aka Mumei), Guardian of CIVILIZATION
-Leaf: CERES FAUNA (aka Fauna), Keeper of NATURE
-Hourglass: OURO KRONII (aka Kronii), Warden of TIME
-Dice: HAKOS BAELZ (aka Bae), Leader of the Council and CHAOS Itself
-Planet: TSUKUMO SANA (aka Sana), Speaker of SPACE (Also, sad little trivia: the reason her symbol is flickering and glitchy in the video is because in real life, Tsukumo Sana has graduated. This means she has retired from working with Hololive and has ceased her VTuber activities)
(And yes, all five of these characters are all existing VTubers that do/did streams under Hololive and you should check them all out, they're all amazing)
Now that the context is out of the way, here's my interpretation of the video's plot:
1:25 Ina has essentially been possessed by the eldritch entity in her book and it started using her body to wreak havoc and destruction on the Earth. The rest of Holomyth band together to try to defeat the eldritch entity and try to get Ina to snap out of it.
1:45 Ame starts charting a course through the timelines using her watch to try to find an optimal timeline to save Ina. Meanwhile, the rest of Myth engage the eldritch entity in combat to try to buy Ame time.
1:50 Calli and Kiara (assumedly the two most powerful in the group) attack the entity first.
3:00 The entity uses a cheap trick and traps them in some sort of pocket dimension since it can't beat them.
3:23 Gura uses her Atlantean powers to fend off the entity for as long as she can, but holds back because of her reluctance to hurt Ina.
5:18 Gura eventually realizes 'There's no going back to the way things were' and stops holding back. Therefore...
5:41 Gura shifts into Gawr mode by absorbing(?) her trident.
5:55 Gawr's insane speed and power are able to splat the entity into a giant puddle of eldritch goop, but exhausts herself. The goop starts to reform itself back into Ina shape because its regenerative powers are too great.
7:51 The eldritch entity prepares to suffocate and kill Gura, but Ina begins to fight back and wrestle over control of her own body.
8:17 The eldritch entity relinquishes Ina's body, reverting her back to normal human form. The entity takes the form of a giant sphere in the sky, then obliterates Ina and Gura.
9:07 Ame finally finds the route she's looking for, and activates the watch, freezing time in its place.
9:31 Ame travels wildly through the different timelines (many featuring alternate versions of her), following the route to her destination.
9:58 Ame arrives in the mysterious movie theater, assumedly an observation point for the Council to watch over the universe (or something along those lines). The time of the 'RUclips video' is the age of the universe.
10:26 Ame finds the corpses of several other Ames from alternate timelines who travelled to this observation point like her, in an attempt to save their own worlds.
10:44 Here we see the symbols of the five Council members, indicating that they are linked to this room.
11:00 Ame finds a recorded message left for her by one of her alternate universe selves, warning her not to try to change their inevitable fates.
12:07 Ame comes to a decision based on seeing her own alternate selves. Her other selves gave up their lives trying to change fate, and so would she, if it means there's any chance of saving her friends.
12:25 Ame rips apart the film reel of reality, destroying that universe and killing herself in the process.
13:52 Notably, the destruction of the universe looks an awful lot like a Big Bang, which transitions perfectly into...
14:05 The beginning of a new universe. A new universe where things could potentially go differently.
Anyways, sorry about the massive textdump lol. But that's just how deep Hololive lore can get
this is Mazu's animation, a fan animation that baked for more than a year truly a masterpiece
I'm never gonna say there's a bad order to consume any of this content - original or fanmade - and I'm really happy you took a lot of the best aspects of this rather than "what even is this?", But if you're branching out further into Hololive lore/history/memes/subculture beyond just their discography, you'll probably enjoy compilation footage of their debuts and/or mass compilation footage of their day-to-day live streams. They're a) really good zeitgeists for understanding the person's behind the VTuber avatar, and b) of the hundreds of compiled clip videos out there, they're incredibly funny to react to.
Remember to those that ask "Is there a good ending", we live in the good ending.
A short summary of this amazing fan animation: Ina is taken over by "The Ancient Ones" (a Cthulu-like being in her lore), and the other girls of HoloMyth try to stop her, but are ultimately unable to. Amelia Watson (time traveling detective and the only human of the group) manages to escape the timeline and arrives at "The End". She finds that her past selves have also failed to stop the event and save her friends. Ame realizes the only thing she can do is reset the timeline (hence ripping out the film and causing the universe to restart from the Big Bang), so that hopefully, there will be a timeline different enough where it doesn't happen. It's implied that the timeline we're living in now is that timeline, because HoloMyth (Ame, Gura, Ina, Kiara, Calli) all successfully debuted on September 12-13th.
Also, if you listen closely to the music for each member, each has a epic orchestral versions of their original songs/BGM.
- Calli - Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP? (which you've reacted to)
- Kiara - Hinotori (you've reacted to her DO U original, I recommend this one as well)
- Gura - Reflect (which you've reacted to)
- Ina - Violet (which you've reacted to)
- Ame - her initial stream BGM (only because this came out before Ame released her own first original song, ChikuTaku, which was just this past week!)
I only posting to point out that Ina is in fact the only human of the group and not Ame because she is British
@@machinronii Ame is basically a Time Lord
HoloMyth is the name of EN Gen 1 which is Gura Ina Kiara Amelia and Calli
The game you're thinking of is HoloCure which you should defenetly play at some point!
The projector is indeed the exact time since our universe existed, yes.
The cameos you missed are the symbols of The Council when Watson entired the projector room.
Kiara has actually talked about Myths bad ending and said she wants to voice act it with the other girls.
People have said already so short Holomyth= EN's 1st gen (they don't want to be called generations) Generally every Gen of hololive has a group name. Holo Fantasy, Holo Gamers, Holo Council are to name a few.
This video itself was based on using some of the lore the girls debuted with. Ina being a priestess to the Ancient Ones(Lovecraftian Cthulhu Mythos) Lost control of herself to them. The rest of the Myth girls fought to hold her off so Watson could go back and reset the timeline to prevent it from happening. The reason why its the Bad Ending is because it keeps looping with no end no matter after how many resets.
Some easter eggs other than the Lore behind the girls as you might not know much about at this time. The 5 symbols in the recorder room near the end are the 5 girls in Holo Council. The planet symbol is fading out because as the release of the video, the girl it represented, Sana, graduated (left/quit/retired) from Hololive. Also when the reset is actually happening. When we are panning out of the earth past the cloud, you'll see a flash of light entering. It's Theorized that that was IRyS who is the personification of Hope. So that is why that last timeline reset actually worked because hope was introduced into the world.
Lastly The good ending exists. When ask Mazu just replied, " We are currently living in it." So theorizing, the Bad Ending was during the time when the Myth girls never joined Hololive. The Good Ending is when they did, and Ina could keep control. Which is way Sept 2022 has past and the world is not destroyed.
Let me be honest for a second. This might actually be my favorite reaction to this I've ever seen and by far. You ask for our forgiveness when you realised you were silent? You silence spoke way louder than any word you could have ever spoke and it was the highest praise you could have ever given to Mazumaro.
I've seen so many people talk and talk and talk over it, missing so many details and not giving it the attention it deserve. You, on the other hand, have shown you were really appreciating it by getting fully engrossed in it. What could ever be an higher praise than that?
Also, since you want a better understanding of what happens in this animation, well many have already explained to you some of the lore of the characters those girls incarnate, but one haven't been really well explained ; Ina. Ina is the priestess of the Ancient Ones. They are Lovecraftians diety like entities, akin to Azathot the outer god. They are incredibly powerful entities who exist outside of our reality, but have an effect on it even if they, themselves, don't always realise it. In the case of the Ancient One, who reside in Ina's book, it does have a corrumpting effect on people which is why Ina isn't looking human nowadays when she was born human.
In the animation, the Ancient One ended up controling Ina, corrupting her mind completely and going for the total destruction of the human race. The entity being a litteral god in term of strength, it wasn't really hard to achieve and it was done rather quick, only leaving Gura, Amelia, Kiara and Calli alone untill the end. Why is that? It isn't really explained, but in my opinion, it was Ina's way of crying for help, asking them to kill her so she would stop what she's doing. And that's what lead us to the animation.
14:55 Easter Eggs you say... the Time Travelling thing she did was the same as Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Ame with with Mustache she saw there was her DND character, the bees were Bee Ame (one of her outfits) and meteor that was falling was Smol Ame doing a "ground pound"
I never watched anything related to hololive before and day video got uploaded it somehow got into my recomended.
I almost lost my mind after watching it, amazing
So there is a bunch of lore here, with tonnes of hidden details and references as well which is easily missed the first time round. I won't go into the detail of it, you got some of the broad themes right and someone else might have a copy-paste detailed breakdown, but suffice to say its my favourite fan animation done for hololive.
14:32 - That is the exact amount of minutes/seconds that was assumed to be the estimated birth of the universe, yes. Can't prove it but yes.
This animation hits me hard every time, isn’t that right… Ina?
💯❤️
The time in the YT video at the movie theatre is approximately the time since the big bang.
Never noticed the Council emblems in Watson’s room before, implying that they could fix it.
such a great animation. So Holomyth refers to Generation one of HoloEn which Calli, Kiara, Ina, Gura, and Amelia are apart of.
Be careful, long bible with lots of grammatical errors but still trying to breakdown this in terms of both IRL and fantasy (despite being really hard to separate the two) incoming...
Other than what most people said, I want to expand in temrs of both the "fantasy" lore and the "IRL" lore behind the talents of Holomyth. This is relevant because this animation took lots of tropes and inside jokes among the fandom of each talent and made it into the story of it.
The main theme in Holo Live EN Myth (aka HoloMyth or the "first generation of Hololive English) is that Amelia Watson (from here and on, just *"Ame"*) is a time traveling detective who is investigating all of these mythological creatures (Phoenix, Reaper, Atlantean Shark girl and the Eldreich priest) making her "the main character" which is just one of the many reasons people see her as the Leader of the group. Other reasons are focus on the IRL her, who has been responsible of getting lots of ambitious projects as a group even during the peak of the pandemic, she knows a lot about the tools they've used for streaming and was the one able to get proper infrastructure for bigger group projects, not just as "Holomyth" but also as the whole Hololive EN (Watch Myth or Treat), so it is not a mistake that she is essentialy the "main character" in this animation as well.
Now to focus a little bit more on the animation itself:
-When they debutted, Calli and Kiara got along pretty well and sometimes did some "roleplay" banter among each other. Also, in terms of the fantasy lore, it is a "never together" situation, where the Phoenix will never be with the Death Reaper because it keeps resurrecting (that's why fans shipped them a lot and why they attacked the possesed Ina first and together).
-A similar thing happened with the IRL of Gura and Ame, they had a great sinergy on their streams because both share a really similar sense of humor and really get along, that's why Gura stood behind Calli and Kiara to protect Ame as a last line of defense.
-Ina is an eldritch priest (aka priest of the "ancient ones" or a character based on the lovecraftian horrors, that's why despite being a human she has some squid features on her, as in, you know "Cthulhu"like). The plot revolves around her getting possesed by that cosmic horror and being on her way of destroying the world. Her streams are very chill and confy, you know, the perfect "subversion of expectations" of a villain like that. There was a certain focus on her relationship the Gura because of the kind of collabs they have from time to time (even though it's been a while since the las time), also it is because they're the sole two EN members who also belong into UMISEA (which is a sub-group of Hololive regarding characters who are Sea-themed, along with Aqua, Marine and Chloe)
11:00 the charm on Ame's phone is a "teammate" the way she refers and represents her fandom.
-About the different realities that Ame travels to, showing different versions of herself like the Bee Ames, Moustache Ame, etc are a direct reference to the personas she plays on her streams, most of them popularized by her promoting "Smoll Ame" as part of her logistics to get all of Myth to have a "3D debut" before actually having an official "3D-body-tracking model", she used some assets made by some artists to make that happen and the "second generation" as well (from here on "Hololive EN Council" or just "Holo Council") along with Irys.
There's also references to Irys and the Holo council, they're not the focus of the video but they're there nevertheless.
At 10:46, when Ame reaches "The End" there's a logo representing each one of the members of the Hololive EN Council they are as follows:
The Owl symbol is Nanashi Mumei, The Guardian of Civilization, her avatar is, if you haven't guessed it, an owl.
The Plant symbol is Ceres Fauna, The Keeper of Nature, her avatar is, a Kirin, although her fans joke that she is a tree because she is green and her horns look like branches.
The Hourglass symbol is Ouro Kronii, The Warden of Time, he avatar is an entity... She is just is a person with a clock on her head, perfection, as she says.
The Dice symbol is Hakos Baelz, The very concept of Chaos itself, her avatar is a rat, you recently reacted to a song of hers, all of the other members of coucil also have amazing songs.
The blurry planet symbol is Tsukumo Sana, The Speaker of Space, her avatar is another entity, the embodyment of space, the reason her logo is blurry is because the resigned (aka "graduated") from Hololive while this was in production.
Finally, there's also IRyS in this animation, she is not part of Myth nor Council, her character represents Hope, her avatar is a Nephilim, in the video she appears at 13:34: as that butterfly/fairy thingy representing hope in the story of this video, that each time Ame has restarted the universe, there's hope that she will get the "Myth good ending" to happen, which if you haven't read already, is the here and now, the whole group joining Hololive, streaming, playing videogames and being anime idols as friends.... And Ame shooting down Kiryu Coco as well, but that's a story for another day.
Oh, also Ame released her first alone Original Song recently, it is called "ChikuTaku", I thought you would have a chance to listen to it before watching this video, but I can't blame you since everyone was so excited (me included) for you to react to this.
This is when you realize some animators doesnt need to be from well known background to make some master class animations.
So to sum of the end is that the universe was destroyed and started over with the big bang and we are living in that good ending where they all are friends and stream and play games together. Basically every Amelia was starting the universe over again till they have a universe where they can have a good ending which we are living in right now.
I read a lot of the comments to see if anything was missed, and I think most people addressed almost everything.
One thing I want to touch on and emphasize that sometimes doesn't get picked up is that the ending scene is Ame being confronted with a message that tells her *not* to rewind/reset things. There was an Ame there that peft that message. And yet, the current Amelia Watson is in that room amongst a pile of prior selves forever entombed in a purgatory outside of time.
The Amelia that left the message, and all Amelias prior to the current one did it *anyway*. She knew that history would repeat, even left a message for herself to tell her it would, and yet even the one that left the message reset things anyway. There's nothing really lore-heavy about this, it's more of her character that she's tenacious and devoutly helpful to her friends, which is true of her as a vtuber personality. She and all past selves did it anyway in the hope that the infinitesimally tiny speck of a chance that anything could end differently would give her friends the opportunity to live happily together in another life, and sacrifices herself for that chance, joining her prior selves.
I think a lot of people kind of get the gist of that, but there's a layer of depth and gravity and emotion there that I think usually only gets its surface scratched on a casual viewing.
It's absolutely amazing storytelling, and a massive compliment to Amelia as a person.
One with ashes on fire was even better. It literally gave me goosebumps
This is a fan video project focusing on Hololive Myth aka Hololive EN Gen 1, where Ina, a priestess of the ancient one get taken over by said ancient entity, while the others try to stop it and save Ina.
Fun fact the music you hear are orchestral versions of either songs made by the character in focus, or their stream BGM.
The "good ending" is mostly assumed to be our timeline where all these girls are close friends, and they spend their time having fun and streaming in Hololive.
As for the game you keep mentioning, it's called Holocure. It's like a Vampire Survivors style game featuring hololive characters, and items / weapons that are hololive related references. Fun fact the game is made by the same person who made the MV for Calli & Gura's Q. It's a really fun game and best of all completely free, I highly recommend it.
This video has been in the making for 18 months, Mazumaru releasing short bits of it while making it. It has been mainly a one man project, until the end, when the composer of the soundtrack entered the project. The soundtrack is based in each of the girls original songs
There are various fanGames of Hololive, one of the most famous in HoloCure, based in Vampire Survivors, with a lot of references. An update for it is supposed to release during January featuring Gen 1 (it already has En myth, Council & Hope, Gamers and Gen 0)
New update confirmed to be Feb 10
The time on the video when Ame entered the "Viewing Room" is the elapsed time of the entire Universe, from the Big Bang till September 13, 2022. over 14 billion years. Yes, the entire timeline was restarted from the Big Bang onwards. This Ame was the seventh (Six bodies on the floor when she got there.), restart of the Universe. We are living the good ending, as we are past the 9/13/22 date.
September 13th, 2022. We have passed that date. We are in the good timeline! :)
So glad you reacted to this-Mazu is an absolute genius! There were quite a few Easter eggs in the story. One that I didn’t really notice the first time is the music- when each of the myth girls have their chance to to shine, it’s one of their songs playing. “The reaper is a live streamer”, “Takamori” and “Reflect” all make an appearance, and the soundtrack at the end is Amelia’s waiting screen music. Additionally, Holo council and IRYS make cameos. Council are represented by the symbols above the projector, while IRYS can be seen as a bright, fairy-like creature as the world rewinds at the end. Finally, all the different versions of Amelia while she dimension hops are characters she’s played around with, including her character from their TTRPG game. While this project isn’t canon for hololive, a lot of people have speculated that the events of this story are the genesis of IRYS (hope incarnate) and what prompted the council to take physical form and interfere with the hololive universe.
I like to think of this as something that could have happened even with canon lore because of a stream ina did a long time ago. if you look up "Ina's stream was hijacked by a mysterious person" Ina had a segment at the end of one of her streams with a mysterious person that lets the chat call her "the watcher". When asked "what do you do here?" she replies "I just make sure that the one called 'Ina' can happily live where she is. So the world doesn't end! wow! *laughs*"
Hololive's performers as a whole just attract a lot of really passionate, skilled people into their fanbase for some reason. Really, the same seems to be true of a lot of VTubers; they get a lot of people who love to create fan artworks of their characters. As far as why this specific project as an eleven-minute animation by a single person exists, Mazu said he started listening to livestreams early on in COVID lockdowns, and wound up gravitating towards Hololive as his background entertainment of choice. He started working on an animation based around the members of Hololive English Generation 1 (also known as HoloMyth) as both a creative outlet and a kind of personal thank you to them for helping him through lockdowns. It started out as just a kind of action setpiece with the fight sequence between Ina, Calli, and Kiara, but over time grew to become the story you watched today.
Also, a bit of trivia that may help you understand what exactly you just watched: A lot of role playing games and visual novels, particularly from independent creators, will feature multiple endings. Some of them are silly, some of them are thank yous to the players, and some of them are "bad end"s like this: part of the final game, but only happen if "the events of the game unfold incorrectly". So as you asked, yes, the existence of a "bad end" does imply a good end. Mazumaru addressed this in a Twitter post after the full video debuted: we are living in the "good end", a reality where the five people in this video are friends that play video games and do other silly internet video content together, rather than using their inhuman powers to fight over the fate of the world.
For a One person to create such a huge animated short film Mazumaro made a video that Took over the worl of social media for quite some time, it's a great idea that maybe he can create/join a animation company i bet he will hone his talent more.
our currently reality is the good end where they're all friends and play games with each other. this is all the other timelines
Not sure how I missed this getting posted yesterday! This animation is incredible, and what's even more incredible is the entire thing was animated by a single person over the course of a year and a half. It's become so popular that even Holo Myth have heard about it and many of them have expressed interest in doing a voiceover for it.
As others have said here, Myth is the first Hololive English group to debut, consisting of Calli, Gura, and Ina, as well as Takanashi Kiara (from the DO U video) and Amelia Watson (who just recently put out her first original song, "Chiku Taku", which I highly recommend checking out).
Some of the lore pieces you may not know about Myth:
Ina is a human priestess of the Ancient Ones (think eldritch horror) and she carries around a book (which she calls "AO-chan") that lets her call upon the power of the ancient ones. In this case, the story here is what if the Ancient Ones decided to take over Ina's body and use it to bring destruction to the world.
Amelia Watson is a time traveling detective that was tasked with investigating these four mythical creatures that have appeared on Earth (the other members of myth), and in this video she uses her time traveling capabilities to try and find a way to reverse the situation and prevent Ina from being overtaken.
The last bit, which is a bit more minor to this video, is Kiara is a phoenix and part-time warrior (when she's not out running her fast-food chain, Kiara Fried Phoenix (KFP)) and as a phoenix she has the ability to regenerate upon death. Kiara has gone through countless regenerations over the years but she loses all memory of her past lives upon regenerating. Calli on the other hand, as the apprentice to the Grim Reaper, knows Kiara because she always comes through the Underworld when dying. There's a bit of unspoken tragic lore between the two given that Calli has seen each and every one of Kiara's lives and deaths, but Kiara knows nothing about the previous ones past her last regeneration.
Gura has a little bit of multiple-personality going on as she has the ability to switch between her normal, fun-loving personality and that of Gawr, her more aggressive side that harkens to her killer shark instincts. This is mentioned a lot in her song Reflect if you look at the English translation, in which she's having this internal debate between Gawr and Gura as to what they should do with their lives (live in Atlantis as a shark as her instincts tell her, or renounce her shark heritage and live on land among humans). In this video, when she realizes Ina can't be saved, she decides to give in to Gawr in order to protect Watson until she can complete the time jump.
The ending is sort of this idea that, no matter what Amelia does she can't change the outcome, but despite that Amelia still has to try regardless. The thinking is that we, you and me in our current timeline, are living in Myth's Good Ending in which Amelia finally manages to change the outcome and prevent Ina from being overtaken (or at least, so we know up to this point 😉).
They really put a lot of lore behind the Hololive English groups (Myth and Council) which is awesome. Glad you enjoyed this awesome bit of fan animation, dude!
I loved seeing your disbelieving smile - and yes, BEST SHARK!
EDIT: Also, I think we live in the "good ending," where all these powerful beings slack off and play video games together instead of battling at the end oof the world ^_^
this a fan made video made with Myth members lore and things that happen in their streams that build on their lore , Ameverse of all the creations of other ame's , ina being controlled by the ancient ones with the lack of tako's , gura's transformation to gawr with with creations from her first MV Reflect with combination being used like a devil trigger from Devil may Cry game she played and loved. All their main songs are used in all the character intro's into the fight. to ame being a time traveler reseting the timeline so much she got us to our current time which is the good ending of them joining hololive and ina able to create the Tako's which are here followers to help manage her power over the ancient ones, the symbols above the projectior is the holo counsel with Sana's gliching out because of her graduation which is closely related with space theme being linked to the ancient ones , and irys's symbol showing in the clouds when the earth zooms out showing hope has arrived this time
Regarding easter eggs you might have missed, there is a nod to the Hololive EN Council members with their icons appearing above the projector, including with Sana's glitching out since this was finished after she graduated. And during the rewind as the camera is flying up through the clouds you can see IRyS (aka Project Hope)descending.
As for if there is a 'Good' ending, Mazu clarified that we are IN the good ending timeline, since this loop we passed the date mentioned.
One way to interpret this that I like combines with Gura's lore video from her 3D live: Ame's sacrifice, despite the message saying it's meaningless, her putting all her hope into this next time loop, is what called IRyS to descend earlier in the time loop, leading to IRyS influencing the Myth girls to join Hololive and therefore avoid the bad outcome.
As many must have clarified , the English branch of Hololive have special designations by generation(so far there are only three).
Holomyth
With
Gawr Gura: a sharkgirl from atlantis, that has more or less an alter ego that's red tinged, (afecticiously called Gawr by Gura herself) that's what happened in the animation when she absorbed her trident)
Caliope Mori:Death's Aprentice a Grim reaper
Takanashi Kiara: A Phoenix that has her own chain of fried phoenix restorants called KFP(Kiara's friend Phoenix).
Ninomae Ina'nis (Ina): A normal girl that happend to find a Book of the ancient ones and through it became their priestess(the book is sentient and Ina has named AO that is short for "Ancient Ones" )
that I assume possesed her in this short movie.
And Watson Amelia : A detective that has the power to time travel(and dimension jump) through the power of a watch (that many speculate must have come from Ouro Kronii),she has traveled so many times and through so many dimensions her alternate selves frequently show up in her streams, with the most prominent one of them being the heinous criminal "Ame #3769" most commonly known as "smol Ame".
Then we have Hololive EN project hope (second generation)
Comprised only by IRyS: A nefelim (hald demon half angel) who came to earth to spread Hope.
And finally we have the hololive English - Council -
The council created by the gods and designated to uphold the balance of the world comprised of 5 individuals (whose symbols are seen in the empty theater in this video)
Ceres Fauna: A Kirin and the Keeper of "Nature", her symbol is that of a branch with leaves.
Ouro Kronii: The Warden of "Time" , and most likely the person who gave Amelia her watch ( or Amelia took the watch from her by other means) her symbol is the hourglass.
Nanashi Mumei: An Owl who is the Guardian of "Civilization" (and perhaps the most dangerous and scary hololive member in existance, the feathers on her head do not belong to her and are put there as a warning) her symbol is the -Berry- Owl.
Hakos Baelz: She is litteraly Chaos Incarnate that decided to take the form of a Rat chairwoman of the - Council - her symbol is a dice.
and finally
Tsukumo Sana: The Speaker of "Space” she unfortunately had to graduate(leave hololive) due to personal reasons that prevented her from continuing working as a VR idol, loved and missed by many and known also as Astrogirl(due to her Song with the same name), her symbol is that of a ringed planet.
Sorry for the longwinded post, I hope this somehow helps clarify things.
I wish we saw a live reaction. Also if u listen to the bgm when the holo character is main one its playing one of their og songs. Also if you enjoyed this you need to check out HoloweEN episode 1, 2, and 3
took me a second listen through to realize the BGM is their original songs. that was such a nice touch
To explain a bit: First the most important question!
Why the bad ending? Where is the good ending?
We are living the good ending! This story is meant to be them BEFORE joining Hololive.
This is them as their "Lore" describes them, with Kiara as a Phoenix, Calli as Deaths Apprentice, Ame as a Time Traveling Detective, Gura as a Shark from Atlantis and Ina as Priestess of the Ancient One (who in this story took over her body and killed everyone)
The whole thing came out bit by bit over the course of a year, we got like 1 more minute of this every 2 months or so with the biggest final part coming out at once.
AND IT WAS ANIMATED BY ONE SINGLE PERSON!!!
Overall the group of Kiara, Calli, Ame, Gura and Ina is called HoloMyth as they are the first generation of Hololive English and their group is named "Myth"
The timer on the video was not the age of the earth, but the age of the universe! and when Ame reversed the timeline, she created another Big Bang!
and man..I cry every time when Ina fights back with tears in eyes
12:41 totally understandable. we were also unsure what we're getting when we first watched myth's bad ending.
Its still unbelievable that all this was animated by one guy
One of my favorite parts of this is the music. There's hints of the girl's songs as each one comes forward to fight, including Excuse Me But Could You Please RIP for Calli and Reflect for Gura.
HoloCure is likely the game you were thinking of. It's a free Vampire Survivors style game and is really good.
I remember hearing you liked Takane Lui's voice in a recent Hololive concert watchalong on Twitch, so I'd like to recommend her song 'Overd'. Catchy song and wacky video. This goes with my usual recommendations of Moona's 'Ai no Chiisana Uta', Calli's 'Red' & Banzoin Hakka's 'Raven's Paradigm'.
this animation is a fan history by mazu build with the background history of hololive EN members, under mazumaru we are living in the good time line where the world has not been destroyed.
So basically whenever a new vtuber debuts in hololive they don't debut alone. They debut in a group of 3/4/5 members and the group is deemed as a generation.
Hololive Myth was the first ever english group from hololive of 5 members:
1. Calliope Mori- Death apprentice(Reaper)
2. Takanashi Kiara- The Eternal Pheonix
3. Ninomae Ina'nis- A priestess of the Ancient ones (Cthulhu Mythos)
4. Gawr Gura- An ancient shark from Atlantis.
5. Amelia Watson- A time travelling detective.
Their debut was a huge wave in the vtubing scene as their talents captured more people than ever and their influence increased with every moment. Gura being the fastest growing vtuber at that time reached 1 M subs in a single month. HoloMyth had a huge impact on the vtuber community as a whole and perhaps inspired many people to become vtubers themselves. Almost every vtuber knows Myth from Holoive (yes, Mousey too).
This fan-animation was created by Mazumaro alone over a course of 1 whole year with such absurd quality. Which is why we were so excited when this came out.
Part of the reason this exists is that the official "lore" when it comes to the EN side of things is kind of "serious", if you look at any EN debut announcement trailers and compare them to similar trailers for the JP side the difference in tone is very apparent. The EN girls all have access to incredible power (immortal phoenix, Grim Reaper's apprentice, ancient Atlantian shark, a girl transformed by contact with the Elder Gods, a time traveling dimension hopper) that for whatever reason have decided to stream on the internet, so "Myth's Bad Ending" is basically a "what if" kind of story where they're taken out of their streamer roles and into the roles described in their lore.
It's also worth mentioning that a lot of us have been following this for a lot longer than when it released, it's been a work in progress for about a year and a half and we've seen it in parts, the very first thing we saw being just a short 3 second scene of Ame standing opposite the imposing shadowy figure of Ina, which eventually became a scene with all 4 of the other girls standing opposite Ina. So while you've seen the completed thing that came out 2 months ago this was a long journey for us and the full release was highly anticipated.
As for easter eggs you missed, something I'm not seeing a lot of people mention is the easter eggs in the music. Most of the tracks are based on songs related to the characters involved with the scene - Calli's scene has music based on RIP, Kiara's scene has music based on Hinotori, Gura's scene has music based on Reflect that transitions into the music Ina uses as her stream opening, the scene where Ina and Gura are getting lasered has music based on Ina's Violet, the scene where Ame pulls the tape out has music based on her stream opening as well. Shout out to Daryl Barnes for doing an amazing job with the music, gave us some cool "film score" sounding arrangements for tracks we know and love.
for context and i will try to keep it brief
mazumaru the single animator that worked on this has created that animation in the span of about 1 year and probably a few months
myth's bad ending refers to the myth girls of hololive english gen 1 which are amelia watson, calliope mori, takanashi kiara, gawr gura, ninomae ina'nis and their respective lore (amelia time traveling detective, calli deaths apprentice, kiara phoenix, gura shark from atlantis, ina a normal girl in the possesion of a being called the old ones (the bad guy of the story))
in this bad ending ina got completly taken over by the ancient ones and used her body to destroy almost all of myth but in the end ina managed to get some control back and save gura until the ancient ones left her body and proceeded to destroy the planet.
in the nick of time ame managed to escape the current timeline, drifted through some other timelines until she landed in lets call it the place where everything is recorded.
she sees alot of other amelia's lying there to tell us she'd already gone through the same timeline several times.
after pulling on the video tape there she effectively turned back time to the beginning of time
there is no good ending since we are living in the good ending right now which has been confirmed by mazumaru himself.
there are alot of easter eggs and secrets if you look close, just to count 2 of them when amelia arrived at the place where everything is recorded you can see a couple of symbols at the top which are the symbols of hololive council (2nd generation if you don't count irys) and for the 2nd easter egg after amelia pulled on the video tape you can see irys icon for about a second to tell us there is hope to be had which further confirms that we are living in the good ending
good animation from mazu, all animations made by one person, and other helps were the sfx sound artist and the composer! youre reactions are always a joy to see XD keep the good work
So! for a little explanation from what i know:
Ina is a human possesed by the "ancient one" or AO-chan for shorts, like an eldritch horror god like chuthullu and it made her their "priestess", so this animation goes from the premise of AO-chan finally awakening and beginning their total destruction of reality as we know it, and the other holomyth girls trying to stop her, like gura, calli, kiara and ame.
So as the fight goes on on this animation, ame is there trying to find the solution to all of this by rewinding back in time, so she wounds up on the projector room, literally "the beginning of time" itself (also the little icons ontop of the projector are the icons for the holo council girls! which is a nice easter egg) so she hears the voice message that a previous watson left, and still decides to "reset" everything back to the beginning, basically ending her existence as well, thats why she falls limp, lifeless on the floor with the projector film burned on her hand.
This is a "bad end" cus no one was saved or succesfull of saving everybody, thats why a reset is still a bad outcome, tho ame did it on the slight hope, that the new ame who would rise on this timeline, would find the solution to get their "good end" which mazu said that we are actually living on the timeline that ame reached that good end, ao-chan never wakes up, and everyone is happy for the forseable future!.
hope this explains a bit of this fantastic animation XD
As has been stated HoloMyth is the offical name for Hololive EN Gen 1, so the animation is focused on them. Later gens are easter egged into the final bit with Ame, the 5 symbols representing the 5 members of gen 2 HoloCouncil, and the wings represent IRyS the vsinger that debuted between them.
We are in the good ending, this was stated by Mazu himeself. This was a fan project that Mazu spent a year and a half developing.
One of the best collections of easter eggs is the sound track which contains stylized references to each talent. Starting RIP by Calli, Hinotori by Kiara, Reflect by Gura, Violet by Ina. Ame had yet to release an original song when this was completed(now rectified as of Jan 17th, Chiku Taku check it out) and so they use her original intro music during the timeline jumping sequence and universe reset.
The game I think people are mentioning is likely HoloCure a fan made Vampire Survivors style game.
I was wondering when you would commentate on this!
Definitely a lot of hidden gems in this masterpiece.
A lot of the interactions between the characters is from their character lores and ancient mythology.
I definitely won’t be able to explain it to justice as some of the others here in the comments. But some few surface details are:
- The BMG playing in each scene are remixes of each of their own original songs.
- Amelia Watson is a time traveling detective that has interacted with parallel universes of herself (you see a few forms of her in the time/wormhole sequence)
- the symbols above the projector each represent the HoloCouncil members (2nd generation of the English branch for HoloLive, Myth is the 1st Gen)
- IRyS is actually hinted at in the final scene where you see the outline of her symbol in the clouds as she represents hope in the darkest times. Which leads people to believe she is part of the change that leads to the current timeline.
- you asked if there is a “Good Ending”, and the answer is that we are currently experiencing the Good Ending, as we have gone past the date the previous world ended. Mazu has also tweeted this.
There is a lot more in this, such as Ina’s relations to Sana of the Council and what her symbol meant, the relations between Ina and Gura / Atlantis vs Cthulhu (ancient one) and much more.
Mazu worked on this by himself until the very end where he had help with the music and sounds. The entire animation was done by himself though.
You also asked if Iron Mouse knows any of the HoloMyth girls, and the answer is yes. Mousey and Calli are friends and have even been cameoed in each others videos involving the underworld (animation wise)
Since the Holo Myth lore has been covered pretty throughly at this point, I'm gonna cover a different question you had. The fangame that you remember getting recommended is probably HoloCure by Kay Yu, another multi year one man fan project that is professional quality.
A reference you probably missed is that when Gura stabbed herself with her trident and absorbed it was reminiscent to the main character of the game franchise Devil May Cry, Dante stabbing himself with his own sword to transform himself to his final and most powerful form. Gura loves devil may cry and finished 2 of the 5 games as well as getting a birthday greeting from the voice actors of the main characters of the game
Mousey is also friends with ex-Hololive talents so she is very familiar with them and has collabed with talents from Hololive and Nijisanji.
Holomyth is the group name for Holo English 1st gen... their avatar concept based on mythical creature like phoenix, reaper, chthulu, atlantis shark and time traveller so they name their group as holomyth.... Holo English 2nd gen have the name of Holocouncil with 5 concept that you'll see later
Regardless of the other members there are references for Holo En council and proyect Hope wich are Bae, Kronii, Fauna, Mumei and Sana (former member hence the glitch in her logo) and fo Hope is iRys. The context is basically Ina lost control of the ancient ones ( cuthulu mythos like creatures) and Myth trying to save their friend, just that also this animation was made in a year by one person.
The group of 5 here are based on mythos, Calliope Mori (the grim reaper,) Gwar Gura (survivor of Atlantis,) Kiara Takanashi (the phoenix,) Amelia Watson (a time traveling who can see paths to alternate realities) and Ninomae Ina'nis, a priestess of the old ones whos fate is to one day be consumed by the god creature she worships as a host body for it's resurrection.
In this animation, Ina is taken over by the god creature and the other members of her group are trying to free her from it. Watson is in charge of routing to an earlier time if the others fail to restart the timeline and keep Ina from turning or even making the deal to become a priestess at all.
Calli and Kiara are immortal beings that level the playing field powerwise, thus the creature choses to teleport them elsewhere to "deal with later."
Gura attempts to defend Watson as she calculates her path- resorting to going into frenzy mode to stop caring for Ina's safty within the creature and just kill it.
While the creature strangles Gura, Ina, still conscious within, takes back enough control to stop it. The creature leaves her body, knowing that she's not reliable anymore, and kills both her and Gura.
Just as Watson was about to be obliterated, she found her route and took it.
She finds herself in a theatre with a youtube video of the event playing, the timer flickering where she paused with the time passed being how long the world has existed.
The symbols above the projector are the symbols of the following English generation of Hololive, Holo Council- the gods who created Earth.
From left to right, Nanashi Mumei (guardian of civilization,) Ceres Fauna (keeper of nature,) Ouro Kronii (warden of time,) Hakos Baelz (chaos incarnate,) and Tsukumo Sana (speaker of space.)
Watson, knowing the one before her has already calculated that there is no other option, learns that this is the very end, that everything is written to come to this moment of Ina becoming possessed, everyone dying, the world consumed.
She restarts the timeline, witnessing both the birth and destruction of everything that ever has been all at once killing her.
But everything will repeat eventually.
Ame is a time traveller. And she got her clock thingy from Kronii (who is Time herself).
Mazu has done a great job with this, integrating lots of canonical information into this without straying far beyond them. Here Amelia Watson is not just a time traveller but able to jump between universes, just that she needs a bit of time and effort to calculate the path required. Canonically, Ina was a regular girl who bought a book, but that book was a conduit where the Ancient Ones transmogrify her body into something like an Eldritch Horror character, tentacles and all, to become a priestess for them, but she still remains her happy human self. Here the Ancient Ones took control of her mind and became a force of destruction, until Ina broke out of it...
While I did not follow the film's ostensibly "production updates" since the start, it took me no time to realize that these were all part of the storytelling of the film itself: in the RUclips world this is a new part of the language of cinema. The best reaction and analysis of this film is this: ruclips.net/video/LdUIZIA5XhE/видео.html
This one is just a fan animation and also the story is fanmade by Mazumaro, Myth(HoloEN 1st group/gen) is the group name which Calli, Kiara, Ina, Gura and Amelia belong that's why only them appear there but there are some references to council(HoloEN 2nd group/gen) on the projector room (a logo representing them)
If you want to see more official Hololive Animation I recommend you to watch the Hololive Alternative PVs there are 2 of them by now and you will be able to see a bunch of the members there, they are on the official Hololive channel
The ending of it is that Watson destroyed her timeline just like all the other before her to until they finally created the one we are in meaning/implying OUR timeline IS the good ending
Some context to answer some of your questions:
"Myth" is the name given to the first generation of the English branch of Hololive - Ina, Calli, Gura, Kiara, and Watson. Each of them has some kind of mysterious lore around them. Gura, a shark from the lost city of Atlantis. Calli, a grim reaper, and Death's first apprentice. Kiara, an immortal phoenix. Watson, a time-travelling detective. And Ina, a priestess of the Ancient Ones - godlike beings from H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. In the animation, the Ancient Ones have completely taken over Ina's body.
Only Hololive English characters are represented in the animation. Gen. 1 are the main focus, but there are references to the others. When Watson is in the theater room, you can find symbols representing Hololive English's second generation, "Council": Mumei, Fauna, Kronii, Baelz, and Sana. Also, a reference to Hololive English's VSinger, IRyS, can be seen as a quick flash in the clouds after Watson pulls out the film.
The time on the video in the theater is the approximate age of the universe. After Watson rewinds time, and destroys the timeline, the universe implodes, but starts again with the big bang.
Myth's 'good end' is the timeline we're living in now, where all the girls are good friends and just want to have fun together and with their fans.
