Every time I hear Raora I think... oh, it's the Italian Towa! Yes, her native language is Italian, not English. Would you believe she just learned it 4 years ago? And Liz has been doing weekly (mostly unarchived) karaoke streams where she absolutely crushes it with her powerful voice. I hope you react to her rendition of Unlucky (holostars song) which she really made her own. Cecilia is so entertaining to watch. And Gigi is an absolute menace. Their "A way out" collab was super fun! What a fantastic hololive EN generation! And I find it so cool 3 out of 4 are European. Finally Kiara has some holo members near her location! XD
raora though lives in japan so she is as far away from kiara as calli, at least cc and liz still lives the europe so they she can more easily visit irl
The reason why they cover primarily Japanese songs despite probably not speaking it, is because Covercorp can handle song copyright and petitions with Japanese labels but not so much with music labels in other parts of the world. to hear them cover english songs likely you have to tune into their unarchived karaoke streams or vods by a 3rd party.

Cecilia "Ceci/CC" Immergreen "The Ancient Automaton" speaks overall 4.5 Languages with German (Mothertongue) English, Baguette (aka French) Norwegian and as you have heard, her song is in Japanese. 4. Raora Panthera "The Artist with gods eyes" is super adorable and her fans (The "Chattino" because Italian) call her Ponthera because she is quite clumsy, the clip queen and just adorable.
I kind of disagree about Gigi. I think she would be an avatar of Chaos, not the harbinger. The harbinger's job is to fuel it and facilitate it (Bae is extremely good at it) while the avatar's job is representing it. In other words, if we represent it as a train, the harbinger is the one throwing coal in the furnace while the avatar is the train going at full speed.
As a proud member of the Chattini(aka plural of the single entity known as chat) mama PONthera is a treat. As for the rest, I was really blown away from Liz's voice range. Then I took a dive into forbidden knowledge. Yeah, this gen has some experience under their belts. All four of them.
Liz's debut stream genuinely left me speechless, Cecillia is very dorky and a lot of fun (My favourite of the 4), Gigi is just a fun nutcase and Raora is super fun and has a really contagious laugh. You need to check out Liz's versons of Unlucky (holostars cover) and Rebellion (advent cover). She absolutely nailed both of them and made them her own. edit: both songs were sang during her Karaoke stream
She nailed all the songs in her karaoke streams. My only issue is a few songs were of slightly questable taste. For me the high lights were Take On Me and Bohemian Rhapsody although everything thing she did was amazing.
21:50 actually, this gen of holo EN is more like holo EU. Liz being british, Cecilia being german, Gigi is american (Edit: I said french at first, but I also said I wasn't sure) and Raora being italian. Raoras english is also selftaught during the last 4 years she said! :D And yes, none of them really speak much japanese, but they all want to learn it! :D
One thing I love about Raora that I absolutely enjoyed about her MV Hibana is all that art for it, SHE drew it all. Next time you watch it take a look at the credits. She's an amazing artist and I'm definitely happy for her.

Justice, here we go! For Liz... for now I have only one thing to say... be prepared for her debut. Love the cover, on a side note, besides Marine, Towa + Holoro (ID Gen 2) covered Otonablue as well. For Gigi, the MV is so creative, I love it, her voice fits the song well and she did a great job. Cecilia's cover is probably my favourite of the debut covers, I really like the instrumental and musically it fits her well. Also it was her first time singing in Japanese, I like how her accent shines through. Hibana is a great song and Raora did a good job at it, you can hear she's still somewhat inexperienced in singing, but that just makes it more interesting to see how she grows. Above Below is a banger, I really like the distribution of their vocal parts, everyone got their time to shine and no one got overshadowed, fantastically done. Recommendation as always, Matsuri's cover of プロポーズ / Propose and Watame's original song Revival.
Liz is my favorite so far. Amazing voice, singing, laugh, amazing ability to parody anyone's expresions, humor and nice design. And she literally had THREE karaoke streams at first week of streaming, this woman is cooking!
One of the craziest things about Raora's MV is that ALL of the artwork was done by her! She's an incredibly talented artist and singer! Also, Raora has recently said that English actually wasn't her first language (same with Kiara from EN Myth and, I think, Cecelia from this group too). She only started learning English about 4 years ago and now is fairly fluent, doing her streams in mostly English (with a bit of Italian here and there). Her singing gives me HEAVY Towa vibes and I really hope one day we can get a duet between the two of them. (If you couldn't tell, Raora is my favorite from this generation, but all of them are fantastic). Thanks for another great video, dude!

I feel like I'm cheating on Nerissa when I listen to Elizabeth. She's incredible. I hadn't expected anyone to come so close to Rissa in terms of such a powerful voice, but then Liz just comes out with her incredible range.
elizabeth is gonna grow fast with her voice since she has a va and singing background. her being able to imitate other people like she did with calli and kiara in her debut in combo with her singing skills will lead to some crazy stuff.
Its great that you immidiately sniffed out ERB lol this cover was very tame compared to when she just goin wild in karaokes yeah everything might not be as polished as a studio ver or she may be goofing about but you are absolutely right the cover is a tease. Nah, she's really good but she's got some issues that she needs to curb a bit. I'm excited to see how Cover's vocal trainers can kinda tame that voice a bit and really make it shine. Like I'm expecting the real test to come when she has to sing with others and whether she can match tones or just overpowers people, which would not be good. Irys has a better chameleon voice, and we've not seen everything from Nerissa yet. I would also posit that Bae is extremely underrated vocally and her Zodiac album is a testament to that fact. I would say that Mumei's got some undiscovered depths and would consider her a better technical singer than ERB.
ERB's vocals are completely bonkers, she's had like 5+ karaoke streams already it feels like, and every song she touches is a fucking banger, if you think she sounds good on a recording... this lady... she's a live singer, that's for sure, I think easily the best live singer in Hololive now, which says a lot with the talents already in Hololive.
Listening to Raora sing with her italien accent I really hope we will get her to sing a cover of the italian Card Captor Sakura opening by Christina d'Avena! It is so good!
E is a professional voice actor, singer, impressionist, and singing impressionist. Raora went from pink art dog to pink art cat. I don't know about Cecilia's past, but she's off her rocker. Gigi is the new girl, but she has contagious energy. Full gremolin.

Raora's name is pronounced like Laura except ya know with an R in the front. Holo Justice have been a very fun bundle of joy and Chaos can't wait to see them grow, off singing skills alone though I'm excited to see both Rose and Raora's growth as singers, Gigi and Ceci will need some morebtime to grow as singers but Elizabeth is an absolute powerhouse snd Raora has a lot of obvious potential, alot of people have even been calling her Italian Towa and honestly that's not entirely wrong if we're purely going off of their voices alone.
I cant unhear the german accent in Cecilia's Cover but i love it! and her ofc ^^ xD it feels more personal with the accent is my guess to why i like it so much (i am german)

All of them are amazing and have well exceeded my expectations. Liz is definitley my Justice Oshi, but I pretty much called that pre debut. The one I have to say reall surprised and impressed me the most was Cecilia. Cecilia Immergreen is calm but a little unhinged at times. Like her first stream she played Skyrim and she stole everything she could get and break so many laws that she got people sent to kill her and she only made it to the first town Riverwood. Remember she's supposed to be part of Justice.
If you were interested by Gigi's interesting and slightly threatening energy (I know it's been a month, so you might've already seen it), she put out an instrumental-only lore video at the same time as her debut which...at first you wouldn't think matches her vibe, but then rapidly does. And raises more questions than it answers, in a really compelling way. She's rapidly become tied with Subaru as my favorite in Hololive. Edit: Checked your twitch, and you did, nevermind. I'll follow you there too, lol. Leaving this comment to feed the algorithm overlords, I suppose.
Honestly saying "fantasy" with Cecilia is perfectly fitting. Her entire streaming style is so very immersive you can't help but feel you are there with her.
I want to let you know that, when you assumed English was their first language, you are actually incorrect. There are now 4 ESL talents in Hololive English: Kiara (Austrian native, speaks German), IRyS (Japanese native, speaks Japanese), Cecilia (German native, speaks German) and Raora (Italian native, speaks Italian) Several other members are from North America or Australia but speak other languages almost as much as English, namely Fuwawa & Mococo (Japanese), Ina (Korean) and Baelz (Chinese) but aren't really ESL PS: Holostars English has four ESL members too.. Hakka and Goldbullet's first language is Spanish & Jurard and Octavio's first language is Tagalog
Currently my two favorites are Liz and Raora, liz' voice is insane, but i'll personally keep an eye on the pink panther, as a kenzoku i can't ignore the fact that she sounds like towa.
The song's beats and vocals are great wonderful but we also need to compliment how playful and smart they wrote lyrics. At first listen it's just yeah it's song made for justice tied to thier lore to catch advent and the lyrics always stay true to the tile Above Below. Imagine you're standing on a clear Lake and your reflection is under your feet, the higher you rise from the surface down further your reflection will dive. But my favorite part is the second verse when they are talking about the diseases, I'm like what's the connection to justice, but the term that is hidden on it was OUTBREAK they won't allow an outbreak to happen. And what would they allow? Just flip the word OUTBREAK to BREAKOUT which is another term prison escape, and I was like... Oh it still connects to the lore very fitting for a debut song. As above so below.
Love Justice so far. Liz is my favorite. It took a while to get an actual British member of Hololive EN, but the one they found is an incredible talent. I do agree that Otonablue does feel like a bit of a tease pick for her cover, but she's been anything but reluctant to show off her full vocal abilities elsewhere, having done like four amazing karakoe streams already. The way she's able to perform some really big songs is amazing. I think one of the nore popular clips from her karaoke is her take on Skyfall. Gigi has a cute voice and a fair bit of potential, though admittedly of the four she's the one with the least of a hook purely from a music standpoint. I did love the creativity of her music video though. She seems to gravitate toward interesting visual styles and mixed media, which i like. Cecilia has in my opinion a beautiful voice. I love her tone and i get a sense of confidence when she sings even if she's evidently not a trained singer. What she is though is a musician (she played violin live during her debut and also included some pre recorded piano playing), who clearly has an ear for music, so i feel like she could easily wind up (pun intended) being a star in Holo. Finally, im in love with Raora's tone. It feels like somehow adjacent to both Towa and Lui but also distinct. I see huge potential, especially if she sticks with rock songs mostly. Like Cecilia (and Gigi, i think?) i believe she suggested she wasn't an experienced singer and its something she wants to improve on, but if this is her starting point, im hyped to see where she goes.

One thing I love about Raora that I absolutely enjoyed about her MV Hibana is all that art for it, SHE drew it all. Next time you watch it take a look at the credits. She's an amazing artist and I'm definitely happy for her.

For Liz... for now I have only one thing to say... be prepared for her debut. Love the cover, on a side note, besides Marine, Towa + Holoro (ID Gen 2) covered Otonablue as well.
For Gigi, the MV is so creative, I love it, her voice fits the song well and she did a great job.
Cecilia's cover is probably my favourite of the debut covers, I really like the instrumental and musically it fits her well. Also it was her first time singing in Japanese, I like how her accent shines through.
Hibana is a great song and Raora did a good job at it, you can hear she's still somewhat inexperienced in singing, but that just makes it more interesting to see how she grows.
Above Below is a banger, I really like the distribution of their vocal parts, everyone got their time to shine and no one got overshadowed, fantastically done.
Recommendation as always, Matsuri's cover of プロポーズ / Propose and Watame's original song Revival.
Elizabeth and Raora are the two I'm really looking forward to for more music streams and such. Also they have very fun personalities.

Liz is my favorite so far. Amazing voice, singing, laugh, amazing ability to parody anyone's expresions, humor and nice design. And she literally had THREE karaoke streams at first week of streaming, this woman is cooking!

One of the craziest things about Raora's MV is that ALL of the artwork was done by her! She's an incredibly talented artist and singer! Also, Raora has recently said that English actually wasn't her first language (same with Kiara from EN Myth and, I think, Cecelia from this group too). She only started learning English about 4 years ago and now is fairly fluent, doing her streams in mostly English (with a bit of Italian here and there). Her singing gives me HEAVY Towa vibes and I really hope one day we can get a duet between the two of them. (If you couldn't tell, Raora is my favorite from this generation, but all of them are fantastic).

Nah, she's really good but she's got some issues that she needs to curb a bit. I'm excited to see how Cover's vocal trainers can kinda tame that voice a bit and really make it shine. Like I'm expecting the real test to come when she has to sing with others and whether she can match tones or just overpowers people, which would not be good.
Irys has a better chameleon voice, and we've not seen everything from Nerissa yet. I would also posit that Bae is extremely underrated vocally and her Zodiac album is a testament to that fact. I would say that Mumei's got some undiscovered depths and would consider her a better technical singer than ERB.
ERB's vocals are completely bonkers, she's had like 5+ karaoke streams already it feels like, and every song she touches is a fucking banger, if you think she sounds good on a recording... this lady... she's a live singer, that's for sure, I think easily the best live singer in Hololive now, which says a lot with the talents already in Hololive.
Listening to Raora sing with her italien accent I really hope we will get her to sing a cover of the italian Card Captor Sakura opening by Christina d'Avena! It is so good!

Raora's name is pronounced like Laura except ya know with an R in the front. Holo Justice have been a very fun bundle of joy and Chaos can't wait to see them grow, off singing skills alone though I'm excited to see both Rose and Raora's growth as singers, Gigi and Ceci will need some morebtime to grow as singers but Elizabeth is an absolute powerhouse snd Raora has a lot of obvious potential, alot of people have even been calling her Italian Towa and honestly that's not entirely wrong if we're purely going off of their voices alone.

If you were interested by Gigi's interesting and slightly threatening energy (I know it's been a month, so you might've already seen it), she put out an instrumental-only lore video at the same time as her debut which...at first you wouldn't think matches her vibe, but then rapidly does. And raises more questions than it answers, in a really compelling way. She's rapidly become tied with Subaru as my favorite in Hololive.

I want to let you know that, when you assumed English was their first language, you are actually incorrect. There are now 4 ESL talents in Hololive English: Kiara (Austrian native, speaks German), IRyS (Japanese native, speaks Japanese), Cecilia (German native, speaks German) and Raora (Italian native, speaks Italian)
Several other members are from North America or Australia but speak other languages almost as much as English, namely Fuwawa & Mococo (Japanese), Ina (Korean) and Baelz (Chinese) but aren't really ESL
PS: Holostars English has four ESL members too.. Hakka and Goldbullet's first language is Spanish & Jurard and Octavio's first language is Tagalog

Currently my two favorites are Liz and Raora, liz' voice is insane, but i'll personally keep an eye on the pink panther, as a kenzoku i can't ignore the fact that she sounds like towa.

The song's beats and vocals are great wonderful but we also need to compliment how playful and smart they wrote lyrics. At first listen it's just yeah it's song made for justice tied to thier lore to catch advent and the lyrics always stay true to the tile Above Below. Imagine you're standing on a clear Lake and your reflection is under your feet, the higher you rise from the surface down further your reflection will dive. But my favorite part is the second verse when they are talking about the diseases, I'm like what's the connection to justice, but the term that is hidden on it was OUTBREAK they won't allow an outbreak to happen. And what would they allow? Just flip the word OUTBREAK to BREAKOUT which is another term prison escape, and I was like... Oh it still connects to the lore very fitting for a debut song. As above so below.

Liz is my favorite. It took a while to get an actual British member of Hololive EN, but the one they found is an incredible talent. I do agree that Otonablue does feel like a bit of a tease pick for her cover, but she's been anything but reluctant to show off her full vocal abilities elsewhere, having done like four amazing karakoe streams already. The way she's able to perform some really big songs is amazing. I think one of the nore popular clips from her karaoke is her take on Skyfall.
Gigi has a cute voice and a fair bit of potential, though admittedly of the four she's the one with the least of a hook purely from a music standpoint. I did love the creativity of her music video though. She seems to gravitate toward interesting visual styles and mixed media, which i like.
Cecilia has in my opinion a beautiful voice. I love her tone and i get a sense of confidence when she sings even if she's evidently not a trained singer. What she is though is a musician (she played violin live during her debut and also included some pre recorded piano playing), who clearly has an ear for music, so i feel like she could easily wind up (pun intended) being a star in Holo.
Finally, im in love with Raora's tone. It feels like somehow adjacent to both Towa and Lui but also distinct. I see huge potential, especially if she sticks with rock songs mostly. Like Cecilia (and Gigi, i think?) i believe she suggested she wasn't an experienced singer and its something she wants to improve on, but if this is her starting point, im hyped to see where she goes.
