Risu wrote this song as a thank you letter to Hololive and to her new fans. Before she got accepted to hololive, her family lived in poverty, there where days she had to skip meals so her siblings could eat. Getting accepted to Hololive really flipped her life on its head for the better. also as an easter egg, theres a hidden message if you read 1st letter of each line in the lyrics.
Yeah she's struggled through a lot of IRL things. A lot of what she earns goes to her family - she's still in a lot of ways a hidden gem outside of the core Holofans
Less on the history aspect, Risu is really big on mental health, and likes to take time in her streams to talk and engage with her Risuners (yes, it is the fan name) about things they can do to keep a healthy and positive outlook. As wild as she can be, the squirrel does like to chill with jazz, lo-fi, and edm bgms and find unique ways to stream that soulful energy. (Bell ASMR anyone?) Also, just a coincidence, today is her birthday(!) and she will be celebrating over the week.
as her Risuners, I can vouch that and that's why, Alice&U [a play word of Ayunda Risu] has its special place on our {Risuners} heart I forgot the detail about talent, but she is self taught since she couldn't afford vocal tutor back then and now, when ID branch management hire a vocal tutor the tutor said to Risu "I can't taught you any new skill, you've learn everything I had to taught you" oh Risu QwQ)...
Among the countless voices, Risu uses two most of the time, the sexy sultry voice she used for almost the entirety of this song she calls "Ayunda", and the cute little baby squirrel voice she calls "Risu" which made an appearance towards the end.
Everyone was blown away with her performance at the Fes in 2022. The Japanese fans were absolutely baffled at the realization that they had had this amazing talent go under their radar.
Best part is after Suisei saw her sing this During holoLive 3rd fest, She kept saying "Who are you? Please teach me!" Also she was singing in English, Japanese and Indonesian.
Risu is a riot. One of her funniest streams was a coin counting stream. Context: ID Gen 1, Moona, Risu, and Iofi, had been living together for a while by that point. She decided to swipe Moona's Piggy bank and count the coins... behind the safety of a locked door, of course. Moona hadn't noticed and was streaming herself, at the time. Chat snitched. Moona immediately ends the stream and starts banging on Risu's door. And there is the cheeky squirrel just sitting there, giggling as she continues to count coins. There's a good clip of it.
During the last FES she sang this but used her more deeper voice for the entire song, and my god, the live performance was even more powerful than the studio version, you could really feel how much it meant for her to be there
I swear after Risu released this song, every time she sings it live it gets better and better. The 3rd Fes version Put her on the radar on the JP side that even the JP talents had no idea she could sing like that. Then there's her RUclips music weekend(May 7) which was full of all really hard to sing songs and she nailed all of them. The last live she did of this song was on Towa's 2022 Birthday concert(Aug 8) and they sung it together. The other girl who has comparable range is Kanata. She even has covers where she Duets with herself. Risu has also done this with a few songs.
@@caretakerITA Snow Halation was the song I was referencing, but I honestly want to know where/how people hear 4 different voices in that song lol. I've listened to it hundreds of times and compared the voices and I've only ever hear Risu and Ayunda.
@@Kaldrim72 It's probably due to its age. She didn't split very often between her normal and lower voice when that came out, and most who were there to hear her sing at the time were likely exposed to the clip that tried identifying how many voices she did on her King Gnu karaoke, when viewers first found out she had such a huge vocal range.
Risu is literally the Japanese word for Squirrel. Her character backstory is that a witch named Ayunda, escaped witch hunters trying to kill her by fusing with her familiar, a Squirrel(Risu) resulting in Ayunda Risu. Risu is the higher pitched one and Ayunda is the lower one and she sometimes does self duets by going back and forth between the two voices. Check out her cover of Snow Halation to see what I mean. Edit: I forgot to mention that now you’ve listened to 2 out of 3 members of Hololive ID Gen 1, or Area 15 as their also called. So now you need to hear Q&A=E by Airani Iofifteen to complete the original song trio of this group. Then comes there group song HI-15 to finish it off.
Finally Risu gets her time to shine on this channel. You should look into Pavolia Reine one of her fellow ID Hololive members. Also, yes Risu she's a Cheeky Squirrel. This song is to her fans like how Moona Hoshinova's "Ai no chiisana uta" is a love song to her fans.
I bit of context to her range and "it feeling like two singers" Risu usually talks in a very high pitched voice but sometimes talks in a mature voice that the fans dubbed "Ayunda/The DLC voice" which is what happened at the end there were she went higher, that was her Risu voice while the majority of it was the Ayunda voice. And yes you guessed correctly that this song was basically a love letter to her fans (with literal fan messages in the video portrayed as the letters) And yes Risu is a very very VERY cheeky girl that usually catches people off guard. She "hides her powerlevel" as people say 😆 You know the drill, I'm going to keep recommending the Goddess, the OG herself, Tokino Sora 🙂👍
Sora is another outstanding singer: originally trained as a classical singer and musician she switched to pop music as singing in the classical style was too harsh on her. But to the trained ear, she shows her classical training just by singing a few bars, and there is a good case to state that she is the best at having total control when singing at the highest part of the scale, while keeping that lush sweetness of voice.
Thank you for the reaction to our favorite nutcracker squirrel! Risu's like a hidden overpowered anime character that lives far inside the forest in terms of singing in Hololive. She rarely sings, but when she does, she does something amazing like this song. Even Suisei praised Risu so much in the last Holofes Concert when Risu was first debuted in that 3d concert.
At 7:45 she switches to her "streaming voice" (Risu), which is a little more high pitched. When she sings her voice changes so much (goes lower) that people make the joke that she is another person (Ayunda)
Fun fact: Risu had not taken any singing lessons before recording this song. After she kind-of blew up with this song, she started taking them though. She is a natural of some insane proportions. This song just shows off two of her voices, but believe she has more of those. Also: You may want to listen to her live performances of this song. They are even better.
Risu is amazing and arguably the best pure singer in hololive. Ya, her range is something else. You should watch a quick example of her voices and range.
I watched the VOD of your hololive new years concert watch along. One of the song you said you liked a lot was "Daddy Daddy Do" well i would like to let you know that Risu has done an official cover of that song with Oga (the one horned male performer from the concert). It is an absolute AMAZING cover and Risu goes full DIVA mode with her voice and Oga hit notes so low you wouldn't believe it. I absolutely recommend it for a reaction
Ayunda Risu is a force of nature when comes to singing, she's a natural born genius. What puts Suisei above her isn't talent, or range, it's hard-work and consistency. If Risu worked as hard as Suisei, she'd be even more amazing. This song is a master class on singing, the poor instruments and arrangement can't keep up.
honestly its been a long time coming. risu is such an amazing singer that honestly while this version is still amazing shes actually improved even more in her lives to the point that you can hear the improvement in my opinion.(heres probably the most recent one from her 3d live showcase 3 months ago ruclips.net/video/VxnwBm49egM/видео.html while shes kinda out of breath during parts she had just been singing/talking straight for around the past hour ) as for this song there is actually a hidden message in the first letter of each line of lyrics totaling up to say AYUNDA RISU HOLOLIVE INDONESIA(and even more impressive when translated to Indonesian it still says that).
Luke if you want to see even more of her range, I highly recommend you listen to her cover of King by Kanaria. Imo that is the best cover of the song by a hololive artist.
Thank you sir. I wanted you to react to this song for so long and did not disappoint! 😄 She essentially has two primary voices: “Ayunda” is lower and “Risu” is higher pitched. The creative ways she uses her voice (trilingual) and her personality make her an incredibly entertaining talent. One of Hololive’s best.
Many people have already told you about her life. I’m happy you found the Lost Song in this rabbit hole and another side fact about her is she only went to a vocal coach once and was told there isn’t anything more they could teach her. Through all the hardships you see through the comments she is always so cheerful and real. Support the nut and the little troublemaking squirrel.
You have impeccable timing, because you released this on the day of Risu's birthday in Indonesia! Risu has 2 distinctive voices, her cool voice which she uses through most of the song is her Ayunda voice, which can get significantly deeper than she sings with and can be considered masculine, and she can even mimic Nekomata Okayu. Her cute voice which she uses from the Indonesian part of the song onwards is her Risu voice. She stole the show when she sang this on the 2nd day of the concert at the 3rd Hololive Festival last year (Link Your Wish), even all her Japanese seniors said she had a Celine Dion voice. If it interests you, the 4th Hololive Festival is being held in March this year, it will have the 2nd generation of Hololive English and Indonesia performing in 3D for the first time, and has 3 stage performances (one on Saturday night, one on Sunday and one on Sunday night). You can buy tickets to watch the concerts on SPWN (the site does have an English page), and I highly recommend it because watching it online displays some of the best augmented reality I've ever seen. Watching it in person, it's on a massive screen. Also, you're pronouncing her name right. Well done! I'm going to recommend Blooming in the Mud by Hakos Baelz and Tokoyami Towa next (on Hakos' channel).
You finally reacted to Risu! I'm glad you liked it! I am waiting for the Stellar Stellar video. As for where to go next, I'd like you to see Omaru Polka. Her cover of Empress, or her song Everblue. There's also a memey song in popopo, but I think that might be something that could come up in Vtuber tuesday instead of a whole video on it, after you've heard some of her other work. Probably the second or third most listened to hololive member for my playlists.
I love that your reactions feel so genuine, obviously you are performing to an extend yourself, being aware that you have an audience. I also must say the comments under your videos are absolute gold mines to find little gold nuggets one might have missed, you're not the only one on that spiderweb! So thanks for creating this amazing platform to celebrate great artists!
Yes, Risu have a very wide range of vocal. She usually stream and talk with her high voice that you heard from this song, but every now and then she'd talked with her deeper voice that she called Ayunda voice as her 2nd persona while her high pitch voice called Risu, her main persona. It's amazing really, you can also hear Ayunda and Risu sing together at the end of the song. Suisei even praised her as the "celine dion of the hololive" if i remember correctly
I am so INCREDIBLY surprised no one's commented about the secret hidden in the lyrics in this song. This mad squirrel managed to hide the phrase "AYUNDA RISU HOLOLIVE INDONESIA" using the first letter of each line. But yes, Ayunda Risu has an incredible range, to the point where her higher voice is named "Risu" and her deeper one "Ayunda" as a joke in her community.
She definitely deserves respect and love. She could really use it right now too. Her ceiling collapsed and her grandmother passed away both right after the new year.
its past time you listened to Risu glad you finally were able to get around to it Hololive really has so many very talented people it's tough to keep up with all of them
Risu definitely has crazy vocal range. Off the top of my head the only person who I think might contend with her is Amane Kanata. Would highly suggest 獣ゆく細道 by her where she duets herself and sings both the female and male parts of the song
I might get some details wrong here, but there's an interesting backstory to her vocal range and it's kinda canon now, and it kinda came into existence through her interactions with her community (the thing that I love the most of vtubers, how much of the content is generated in a natural way; probably Korone is the queen of this). She usually spoke in her squirrely, high pitched voice early on. One day, she did a challenge and ate really spicy food. It was so damn spicy, even for Indonesian standards, that she almost threw up and she had to drop character because her throat couldn't handle the spice. The chat was "who are you!? Give us back our Risu!" in a joking way, and they somehow lied to themselves and made themselves believe that it wasn't Risu, but Ayunda, a different personality inside of her. And eventually, with the release of her wizard costume, it became canon that she's actually Ayunda, a wizard who is inhabiting Risu's body for reasons that I can't remember, but you can google it. And she does streams as Ayunda, and streams as Risu depending on what she feels like doing.
Here more detail for canon lore for Ayunda Risu that kinda tragic. Ayunda the Witch and her familiar, Risu the Squirel live together in Magical forest. Ayunda kinda avoiding Civilization and Risu the familiar interested on human culture (thats why risu known many memes) But one day, people did a witch hunt, attacking Ayunda Hut, Burn it down to the ground. Ayunda being cornered, decided to fuse with Risu to escape the pursuit. Thats what Risu said about his Lore
I would say Risu definitely has the best vocal range in Holo, that's my sincere opinion And this song is so beautiful A little easter egg of sorts, if you read the lyrics, you can find it says "Ayunda Risu Hololive Indonesia" joining together the first letters of the first verses
She can sing in different voices, yes. The voices in the background (IDK what it's called) are her voices too. Great reaction, sir! Thank you for reacting to one of my favourite holo members! "Joy wish be upon anyone who found this lost song"
for more Hololive i would recommend "Suspect" sung by Aki Rosenthal, Roboco-san and Nakiri Ayame (ruclips.net/video/5lFmjbdOTyc/видео.html). And "Kiseki Musubi" a song from Hololive JP 4th Generation the Original can be found on Amane Kanatas Channel (ruclips.net/video/k7cpjmkc1Rw/видео.html). (Or a very emotional live version on Kiryu Cocos Channel)
This song is amazing, Risu is an amazing very talented Idol in every sense of the word. To hear the high pitched range Risu's voice I'd recommend "Harapan PanPanPan" (it is kind of a cute/joke song she sang with the japanesse HoloStar Aragami). She's truly a remarkable Vtuber, I love her sense of humor (particularly *that* time of the year... NNN) and her "story" is incredibly wholesome, she has gone through many hardships on her life and she pretty much flipped the script when she joined hololive. Every milestone she reaches in her career is very well deserved, imo she is very underrated pillar of the Holo-ID community. About how she is... She is an absolute memelord and the biggest/borderline-creepy (but only as a joke) fan of Inugami Korone (you might identify her as the dog Okayu's BFF) but still, somehow finds a lot of time to be incredibly sincere, cute and wholesome in her stream. So yeah, the Squirrel absolutely can be an Idol! As an example of her range you can watch the clip titled: "Ayunda silky voice caught Ina off guard..."
risu range is crazy and the 3rd fest really become black horse in the festival at least for me, I got goosebumps try moona gekkou, this song show how moona can give us how she can sing with an emotional feel
You should also watch her clip where she sing Hakujitsu. That's where her vocal range shines get acknowledged by the outside people for the first time.
Finally the reaction I've been waiting for LEZGOOOO . Also, would like to mention, Risu's original song "Alice&u" always sounds better when she sung it live . One more thing I'd like to mention, this video came out the same day as her birthday, a coincidence?! 🤯 . . . P.S.: oh sorry, forgot to say: *THANK YOU FOR DISCOVERING RISU AND REACTING TO HER SINGING*
She joined RUclips Music Weekend like 8 months ago. You must give it a watch even if you don't want to react to a 31min video. It's very much a Karaoke session that she sung 6 songs from Suisei, Moona, Akirose and Hololive ID without cut. It's a great show of skill for those who missed her performance in Hololive 3rd concert. (There is a highlight on Hololive ID office channel)
Yeah, she's really well known even by the other Hololive members as one of the best vocalists in the group. Her range is GODLY, and you're only hearing half of it in this song. If you want to hear what her fans lovingly call her "Ayunda voice", her lower range, more aggressive vocal style, definitely check out the cover she and Pavolia Reine did of Kakumei Dualism. There's two version of that song, one with Reine doing the higher part and Risu doing the lower part, and then vice versa. The one with Risu doing the lower part is my favorite, as Risu really lets loose and gets really aggressive vocally, it's fantastic! Risu is incredible. As you hit on, and others here will other confirm, yes. This song was, indeed, her love letter to Risuners (a play on her name and the word "listeners" that the JP members use to refer to their stream viewers, which when said in the Japanese accent sounds like "risuners") and the Hololive fan community in general. As many other Hololive members have also said, Hololive is a life-changing dream job, and for Risu was no different. This song was her way to give back to her fans who made it possible get to pursue her passion for music and have so much fun in Hololive. Also yes, she's the "Nonstop Nut November" squirrel. She is arguably the cheekiest member of Hololive Indonesia, as she is usually the one trying to teach newer members dirty words or jokes, or getting them to say naughty things on stream. She's a hell of a lot of fun to watch! Thanks for an awesome reaction, dude. I knew you'd like this one a lot. Risu is so good! Can't wait for the eventual Stellar Stellar reaction as well, as I think it'll be a bit similar to this in terms of just absolutely blowing your mind at how good Suisei is. Other recommendations would be to check out Takanashi Kiara from Holo EN (she's actually working on releasing an EP of her own at some point with her collection of original songs she's done over the past two years), as well as Hakos Baelz who (sadly) only has one original song at the moment ("Play Dice") but it's an absolute banger!
I don't want to state the obvious but finally. Was worth the wait for Risu to floor you with her incredible voice. She is a squirrel of many talents. If you thought this was good, you should check out live version of her sing it. Since you love first takes. Also let's just give a shout-out to the lyrics of this song, and her multilinguality. Singing in English, Japanese, and her native languard Bahasa-Indonesia
I highly recommend Nagzz Discovers as a channel. He's a streamer who got into VTubers because his community really likes them, and he has a huge series on the Nagzz Discovers channel where he and a friend go through one by one on the different hololive members and he learns more about them.
One really impressive watch would be her RUclips Music Weekend performance were she sung a few popular songs from her genmates and other hololive members. Its around 30min
i found you through mouseys reaction and iam now watching a 3rd video. Your reactions are brilliant and full of energy. Hope yall have a nice day/night BTW: is it just only me or when he gets excited he sounds like ladybeard?
Risu has incredible range, there's a clip of her doing multiple voices while playing a VN Game called Coffee Talk and she uses like 6 distinct voices, and she has a song where she duets herself with two different voices. It's hard to pick between her and Amane Kanata for range though... my favorite meme has a graph of where Hololive members fall on a quadrant graph in terms of pitch and tone and when you look at it, you can't see Kanata at first.... until you realize they made her the background for the entire graph lol. Kanata recently had a 3D show where she sang Unravel again and it was amazing.... she held that note for nearly 30 seconds, I swear
Kanata has also duetted herself in The Narrow Way.... and did it with a masculine and feminine voice lol. She also sang Uma to Shika by Kenchi Yonezu and holy crap, that's still one of my favorites in all of Hololive... and she does all this half deaf
Yes!!!! I’m so excited!! Haven’t even watched yet, but I already know you’re going to love it. Edit: I was not disappointed lol. One thing that I have heard, and I may be wrong, but from rumors she doesn’t even have vocal training. I read somewhere that after joining hololive she went to get vocal training and her trainer said that there wasn’t much she could teach her lol. So she is just naturally that good of a singer. She is the squirrel. And I think Azki, Suisei, IRyS, Kanata, and Risu have the best range. So glad you finally got to this song. My jaw DROPPED after hearing this. I really enjoy all the songs from hololive, but this one blew me away. Edit number 2: Hakos Baelz A Million Miles Away. There’s a bunch of other hololive girls in it as well, but it’s another jaw dropping one.
Lesgoooo!!! I'm actually wondering if you watched the RUclips Music Weekend version of this coz of the thumbnail... also... ehem ehem, Suisei's Stellar Stellar when? or maybe Bye Bye Rainy by Suisei?
Risu is a bundle of surprise, she's cute as hell but also has her mature form (Ayunda) which is majestic. Her humor is just amazing and she will cheer you up no matter how bad you are doing.
Risu has one of the best vocals if not the best in Hololive. She is damn talented. I guess she can't get a better compliment especially since there are so many great talents in Hololive. I would like to recommend Nanashi Mumei with her song A New Start. We know you adore Gura, and Mumei is called Gura's sister or twin because of her very similar voice (which even they get confused, I recommend clips of it) and having a similar sense of humor, and it is sometimes said that they share the same brain cell. On top of that, Mumei is also very talented when it comes to singing. And the song itself, A New Start, is brilliant both musically and animation-wise. Other quick recommendations: - Hakos Baelz & Nanashi Mumei - Animal - Nanashi Mumei & Hakos Baelz - QUEEN - Nanashi Mumei - Dilemma - Nakiri Ayame - Goodbye Declaration - Nakiri Ayame & Ookami Mio & Shirakami Fubuki - Iroha ni Hoheto Ayafubumi
We, ID viewer had Nick for Our lovely Sqrl like "Abunda Tisu" "Ayunda Ridu" "meme queen" "meme/shitpost pages admin" or etc. But her voice is really incredible
Ok, so if you think this sounded like a duet at the end... She actually did a solo cover of Snow Halation where she used different voices for various parts of the song to make it sound like more than 1 person was singing it, and it's SO good.
Fun fact: No one in hololive can sing this song by themselves. If they want to sing this song, they'll need two people. That just attests to how flexible risu's range is.
Also, whenever Risu streams her usual voice is high, fitting of her squirrel origins. But sometimes, she let's out her Ayunda side, which is just so good. She once did a karaoke where she duets with herself using her other voice, in real time. I rarely recommend any karaoke clips, but her Hello, How Are You (I think that's the title) clip from one of her karaoke streams is a must see.
I really want to recommend that you listen to Reimei by Sayuri/My First Story it's Golden Kamuy's second OP, and I really like it because it's a duet with both a female vocalist and a male vocalist, and they're both pretty evenly balanced, but if I had to pinpoint who was leading, I'd say it's her. the voices blend really well, and it's just a really cool song... especially the bridge at around 3 minutes in. it's very worth listening to the full song, I've been doing that lately, which led to this recommendation in specific.
Ayunda Risu is an amazing person who has 2 "natural voices": Her 'Ayunda' voice, which she uses throughout most of the song, and her 'Risu' voice used in the last part of the song. The distinction between the two is insane. A great display of her voices is her singing "Hello, How are you?" in her debut stream, or the clip of her eating spicy noodles. Another Hololive member with an incredible range is Amane Kanata. She sang a duet with herself, singing both the male and female part in the song "The Narrow Way". And a great example of her lower range is her solo cover of "Call Boy", and her higher range is demonstrated in her cover of "Drain".
I don't know if it's still available to buy, but of you can get a hold of the Hololive 3rd fest Link Your Wish concert, you really won't be disappointed. Risu sings this song in her live performance, and it is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I've listened to it so many times that I've lost count, and it never ceases to blow my mind...
Glad to see you finally reacting to this amazing song, so here's some more info that blew my mind when it was pointed out to me (I didn't see anyone mention this in the comments). Risu wrote the lyrics herself, they are written in THREE different languages (English, Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia), they also have a hidden message if you read out the first letter of each line (they're even conveniently capitalized for you in the CCs), it actually spells out a hidden message. The hidden message is "AYUNDA RISU HOLOLIVE INDONESIA", and the lyrics are written to hide this message and yet still make sense and a coherent song! Even the title of the song is a bit of a chameleon. Alice&u, in Japanese the letter "L" doesn't exist, and neither do any single consonants except for "N", so Alice would be pronounced by a Japanese speaker as "Arisu"... A. Risu... Ayunda Risu. So the title really is Ayunda Risu & YOU, her fan. Even the song title has a hidden love letter to the fans! Also, while this studio recording was amazing, she TOTALLY blew it out of the water during her LIVE performance on Hololive 3rd FES last March. I hope you get a chance to see it someday! They have released a small digest that shows part of the performance on Hololive ID official channel (GmQFZeUkKlI). Recommendations: "A Million Miles Away" by Hakos Baelz (You WILL cry, fair warning, the singing is just too beautiful and angelic, not what you'd expect from a RAT) "Hontou no Oto" by Hakos Baelz (Same as above, bring a box of tissues) "The Narrow Way" by Amane Kanata (You said you liked range, Kanata has an insane range as well, this is a male/female duet she sings with herself) "Uma To Shika" by Amane Kanata (to see just how HIGH her voice can go) "DO U" by Takanashi Kiara ('cause Kiara is amazing and you really should listen to her)
I wish I wasnt so late to this one, Idk how I missed it. but if you DO see this @G.O.T Games..... would you believe it if I said she somehow TOPPED the studio performance that already sounds masterful with the live performance at their concert "Link Your Wish" last March? it was ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING. It was that performance that led to suisei calling her hololive's Celine Dion.. and suisei's first words out of her mouth were "Ayunda Risu... what the heck even ARE you..?"
she one of talented singers in hololive....you will know how good it is when you read the first letter in every lyrics on Alice&U....u mind will blowing
If you are wondering why her voice suddenly changed on the last part, it was because she changed persona. She started the song as Ayunda (the deep voice) and ends the song with a duet of Ayunda and Risu (small voice). A good showcase of her persona change was shown on her cover of hello/how are you by Hatsune Miku. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/FyMVxhKxxHs/видео.html I hope you react to this, this was such a very good cover. Thanks for reacting to alice&u btw.
Risu, in her streams, has a high pitched voice buuut her vocal range is really broad. Yes, she is also quite cheeky when she streams. Just take a look at her NNN joke vids/shorts. Having said that, since you checked the Watame-Calli collab you should totally check Reine and Risu covering the anime OP of the anime Kakumeiki Valvrave called "Kakumei Dualism" each side on each channel. Since we are on this train of thought: - In koyori's channel you have a collab covering Yoasobi-Monster. - In Towa's channel you have a collab covering Hikaru Nara OP from Your Lie in April. - In Aqua's channel a collab covering StartEnd. - Last but not least in Sora's channel the cheeky collab. Highly recommend headphones for that one ppl.
I love your reaction!! Thanks for the reaction to this song, it's my fav song too! 🎉 Risu is so a talented girl, she has amazing two voices and is a funny character. I hope you'll enjoy another of her beautiful songs! 🐿 ---------- I'd like to watch your next reaction of "Stellar stellar" Suisei's original song. ☄ That was so great music and MV. I'm sure that you'll enjoy it too! (Also, the covered by Risu was great!) ---------- Sorry for my broken English, I'm a Japanese Hololive fan who learning EN. I always enjoy your videos! Many thanks for you!
As you can tell, The last verse of the song, the lyrics that reads "Terima kasih untuk semua perhatian yang telah ku terima" literally means "Thank you for all the attention i've got" in Indonesian. So yeah, this is a fan dedicated song, i'm glad you love it.
If you know ayunda risu have more then 1 tone voices, they called ayunda voice for a lower tone and risu voice for higher tone, and you can hear the differen on last line on that alice&u song that she doubled the sound whit different voice
There's something really moving about the "incomplete melody" lyrics to me. Like, I didn't know how to finish writing this but I needed you to hear it and know how I feel so I'm sending it anyway.
Copying over a comment from her video here, originally by @sitizahrafadillah6037 "ALiCE&u sounds like "I listen you", in Japanese pronouns it sounds like "A(yunda)risu and you". And when I read the lyrics it goes like: [A]re my eyes deceiving me? Love you Risu
if you react to suisei stellar stellar, also try the versions of Risu and Miko because they have also sung it and the feel is different. at least that's what i think
The Pemaloe video you saw in Risu's feed was probably a collab with one of the newer Indonesia members, Kaela Kovalskia. Kaela is not a musician, so you probably won't end up reacting to her, but she is an insane endurance streamer with the most focused "gotta grind" mindset of all of vtubing. A _typical_ day of streaming from Kaela might be something like digging in a straight line in Minecraft for 12 hours straight (just because she can), followed by a 1 hour break and then another 10 hour stream of trying to max out her level in a random fangame, followed by another short break and another 10 hours of Minecraft, followed by a short 8 hour chill Phasmophobia stream.
Yep, an absolute masterpiece from our resident nutty squirrel. Glad you got to react to it. But seriously, I think you've been dragging your feet on Suisei's Stellar Stellar for long enough. I mean, you ARE going to get blown away by it, for certain, so WHY haven't you reacted to it yet!?
shit mixing though. awful awful awful mixing like it's not from billion dollar entertainment companies. AWFUL SONG! defend with your life, but the mixing is horrible it dragged down the song to the mud. if you want to know the properly mixed song to atleast let you know why I consider stellar stellar is horrible, check YUI - Goodbye Days.
I really think you should check out some of the introductions or clips that gives you an idea of what all the talents are like outside of their singing.
Risu is actually comprised of 2 personalities, both of which appear in the song, Ayunda (a witch in lore) starts the song and sings most of it, and then she transitions into Risu (a squirrel Ayunda possessed and shares a body with) at the end when her pitch goes up and starts singing in Indonesian. Risu's Alice & U is the only song Hololive has produced that I feel holds a candle to Suisei's Stellar Stellar. Neither are my favorite song of the group, but both are definitely on a different level from the rest of the production's works, and to say that these songs aren't the best songs in Hololive would just be an incorrect opinion.
There's upcoming Hololive 4th. fes that you might want to react, almost all hololive member doing live concert and it's 100% will be a good content resource for you :D

you should watch Hololive Shuffle Medley and Hololive Alternative ( it has 2 clip) they are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
you must
watch the video when Ayunda Risu sings live
(Bell ASMR anyone?)
Also, just a coincidence, today is her birthday(!) and she will be celebrating over the week.
Indeed, one reason why she doesn't release much cover and original song. She doesn't have enough budget.
So so well deserved! She has an incredible voice and talent ❤️
as her Risuners, I can vouch that
and that's why, Alice&U [a play word of Ayunda Risu] has its special place on our {Risuners} heart
I forgot the detail about talent, but she is self taught since she couldn't afford vocal tutor back then
and now, when ID branch management hire a vocal tutor
the tutor said to Risu
"I can't taught you any new skill, you've learn everything I had to taught you"
oh Risu QwQ)...
To quote our beloved Hoshimachi Suisei; "Ayunda Risu is the Celine Dion of Hololive."
By a Diva, From a Diva, To another Diva XD
Moona is Beyonce, Risu is Celine Dion. Who will be the next girl to be compared to a major artist?

Risu is a Singer
Risu is a Comedian
RIsu is a Meme Expert
Risu is a NUTS🌰
Risu usually has a cute voice but when she sings expect to be blown away by her powerful voice.
Among the countless voices, Risu uses two most of the time, the sexy sultry voice she used for almost the entirety of this song she calls "Ayunda", and the cute little baby squirrel voice she calls "Risu" which made an appearance towards the end.
Oh I cannot wait to hear more from her 💯❤️
@@GOTGames if you want, try hear her cover "Hello How Are You", she's using Ayunda and Risu voice in that song

During the last FES she sang this but used her more deeper voice for the entire song, and my god, the live performance was even more powerful than the studio version, you could really feel how much it meant for her to be there
I 100% agrees, her performance of this song during Hololive 3rd FES was on another level!
Oh reading these comments has got me so excited to hear more from her ❤️
I swear after Risu released this song, every time she sings it live it gets better and better.
Risu has done a 4-voices cover, tecnically (in the start a 6-voices cover, the mixed erased 2 of them), it's her cover of "Snow Halation".
Ah I love that 💯
@@GOTGames can't wait for HI-15 song reaction. ❤
Snow Halation usually is sung by 3-5 singers, Risu took it personally and smash it herself
Oh so much more to come 💯💯 loves this 🔥
I bit of context to her range and "it feeling like two singers"
Risu usually talks in a very high pitched voice but sometimes talks in a mature voice that the fans dubbed "Ayunda/The DLC voice" which is what happened at the end there were she went higher, that was her Risu voice while the majority of it was the Ayunda voice.
And yes you guessed correctly that this song was basically a love letter to her fans (with literal fan messages in the video portrayed as the letters)
And yes Risu is a very very VERY cheeky girl that usually catches people off guard. She "hides her powerlevel" as people say 😆
You know the drill, I'm going to keep recommending the Goddess, the OG herself, Tokino Sora 🙂👍

Thank you for all the information Ken! ❤️
The wildest part about Risu is as good as she sounds here she sounds just as good or even better live.
Risu's voice is so good that even Suisei thinks of her as the best (or one of the best) singers in Hololive
Risu has a *very* excellent range. Among the best in Hololive.
Also it's pronounced "neh-neh".
Is this arguement still going on? 😂Just show Luke a clip of Nene
Lol It's NEH-NEH, not NEE-NEE
😂😂😂 the argument continues! And the inside jokes have begun 😂😂
Risu is amazing and arguably the best pure singer in hololive. Ya, her range is something else. You should watch a quick example of her voices and range.
You should listen to her Stellar Stellar cover! (after listening to the original from Suisei, of coure lol)
You upload it when her Birthday. What a perfect timing. Also a great reaction
This song is a master class on singing, the poor instruments and arrangement can't keep up.
honestly its been a long time coming. risu is such an amazing singer that honestly while this version is still amazing shes actually improved even more in her lives to the point that you can hear the improvement in my opinion.(heres probably the most recent one from her 3d live showcase 3 months ago ruclips.net/video/VxnwBm49egM/видео.html while shes kinda out of breath during parts she had just been singing/talking straight for around the past hour )
as for this song there is actually a hidden message in the first letter of each line of lyrics totaling up to say AYUNDA RISU HOLOLIVE INDONESIA(and even more impressive when translated to Indonesian it still says that).
Based on free talk after 3D showcase, she was actually not out of breath, she was holding back from crying.
@@zeroyuki92 right
Luke if you want to see even more of her range, I highly recommend you listen to her cover of King by Kanaria. Imo that is the best cover of the song by a hololive artist.
Sui-chan is up there too.. Depending on the day I flip between either..
Thank you sir. I wanted you to react to this song for so long and did not disappoint! 😄
She essentially has two primary voices: “Ayunda” is lower and “Risu” is higher pitched.
Risu is the best singing voice, especially when making jokes😂
I love that your reactions feel so genuine, obviously you are performing to an extend yourself, being aware that you have an audience. I also must say the comments under your videos are absolute gold mines to find little gold nuggets one might have missed, you're not the only one on that spiderweb! So thanks for creating this amazing platform to celebrate great artists!
リスちゃんのStellarStellarも素晴らしいですよ。
聞いてみて下さい。
Yes, Risu have a very wide range of vocal. She usually stream and talk with her high voice that you heard from this song, but every now and then she'd talked with her deeper voice that she called Ayunda voice as her 2nd persona while her high pitch voice called Risu, her main persona.
It's amazing really, you can also hear Ayunda and Risu sing together at the end of the song. Suisei even praised her as the "celine dion of the hololive" if i remember correctly
Wait...I only know Risu as crazy squirrel from hololive, don't know she's sing like this!?🤯🤯
I am so INCREDIBLY surprised no one's commented about the secret hidden in the lyrics in this song.
To further blow your mind, Risu wrote the lyrics of this song to spell "Ayunda Risu Hololive Indonesia" with the first letter of each line.
YEEEAAAHHHH FINALLY on her birthday, Next Perisai Jitu by Moona Hoshinova
Ayunda kinda avoiding Civilization and Risu the familiar interested on human culture (thats why risu known many memes)
But one day, people did a witch hunt, attacking Ayunda Hut, Burn it down to the ground. Ayunda being cornered, decided to fuse with Risu to escape the pursuit. Thats what Risu said about his Lore
I would say Risu definitely has the best vocal range in Holo, that's my sincere opinion
And this song is so beautiful
A little easter egg of sorts, if you read the lyrics, you can find it says "Ayunda Risu Hololive Indonesia" joining together the first letters of the first verses
FINALLY! FUCKING FINALLY! IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! THIS IS LITERALLY MY TOP 3 IF NOT MY TOP 1 FAVORITE SONGS OF HOLOLIVE!!!! 😭😭
For more of Risu i highly recommend her aperance in RUclips music weekend is 30 mins of heaven
Risu has an amazing vocal range is pitch perfect no matter what Language she sings in, This song gives me chills everytime.
She can sing in different voices, yes. The voices in the background (IDK what it's called) are her voices too.
Great reaction, sir! Thank you for reacting to one of my favourite holo members!
"Joy wish be upon anyone who found this lost song"
8:45 Holy shit indeed.
for more Hololive i would recommend "Suspect" sung by Aki Rosenthal, Roboco-san and Nakiri Ayame (ruclips.net/video/5lFmjbdOTyc/видео.html). And "Kiseki Musubi" a song from Hololive JP 4th Generation the Original can be found on Amane Kanatas Channel (ruclips.net/video/k7cpjmkc1Rw/видео.html). (Or a very emotional live version on Kiryu Cocos Channel)
you should listen to the live version, risu is one of those people that when you hear them sing live, it sounds better than in the studio
She not only has range, but amazing control over the entirety of it. And basically all natural talent.
Ayunda Risu, when in Ayunda mode she turns into an elegant woman and hot Mom, but when in Risu mode she turns into a comedian and meme pro 🤣
As an example of her range you can watch the clip titled:
"Ayunda silky voice caught Ina off guard..."
risu range is crazy and the 3rd fest really become black horse in the festival at least for me, I got goosebumps
try moona gekkou, this song show how moona can give us how she can sing with an emotional feel
You should also watch her clip where she sing Hakujitsu. That's where her vocal range shines get acknowledged by the outside people for the first time.
Finally the reaction I've been waiting for LEZGOOOO
.
Also, would like to mention, Risu's original song "Alice&u" always sounds better when she sung it live
.
One more thing I'd like to mention, this video came out the same day as her birthday, a coincidence?! 🤯
.
.
Hope yall have a nice day/night
BTW: is it just only me or when he gets excited he sounds like ladybeard?
It is always wild that Risu can go from gremlin to melodic to sexy mommy in a heartbeat.
She also sang Uma to Shika by Kenchi Yonezu and holy crap, that's still one of my favorites in all of Hololive... and she does all this half deaf
finally, thank you for the reactionn, next stop is her cover of snow halation, she literally do duet with herself in that song
Somehow her live performance of this during 3rd fes was even more impressive.
Kobo Kanaeru also has pretty good vocal range too. I recommend to listen to her Overdose cover first and then listen to her Happy cover song.
Other quick recommendations:
- Hakos Baelz & Nanashi Mumei - Animal
- Nanashi Mumei & Hakos Baelz - QUEEN
- Nanashi Mumei - Dilemma
- Nakiri Ayame - Goodbye Declaration
- Nakiri Ayame & Ookami Mio & Shirakami Fubuki - Iroha ni Hoheto Ayafubumi
Kanata have tried? She with Risu i think are the ones in hololive with the widest vocal range with Chloe and polka coming close
Kanata probably can do too, but more like in her own range and vibe
she is, u will surprise if u know how she imply that vocal range on her daily streaming with her avatar
Idk if you can get your hands on the hololive 4th fes full version, she sang Tsukuyomi's Reason for Existence live and it's crazy good
Also, whenever Risu streams her usual voice is high, fitting of her squirrel origins. But sometimes, she let's out her Ayunda side, which is just so good. She once did a karaoke where she duets with herself using her other voice, in real time. I rarely recommend any karaoke clips, but her Hello, How Are You (I think that's the title) clip from one of her karaoke streams is a must see.
I really want to recommend that you listen to Reimei by Sayuri/My First Story
it's Golden Kamuy's second OP, and I really like it because it's a duet with both a female vocalist and a male vocalist, and they're both pretty evenly balanced, but if I had to pinpoint who was leading, I'd say it's her. the voices blend really well, and it's just a really cool song... especially the bridge at around 3 minutes in. it's very worth listening to the full song, I've been doing that lately, which led to this recommendation in specific.
Amazing ,two voice in one character
I don't know if it's still available to buy, but of you can get a hold of the Hololive 3rd fest Link Your Wish concert, you really won't be disappointed. Risu sings this song in her live performance, and it is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I've listened to it so many times that I've lost count, and it never ceases to blow my mind...
She's literally done a duet with herself in low and high voices Lol. She's nuts. pun intended
Recommendations:
"A Million Miles Away" by Hakos Baelz (You WILL cry, fair warning, the singing is just too beautiful and angelic, not what you'd expect from a RAT)
"Hontou no Oto" by Hakos Baelz (Same as above, bring a box of tissues)
"The Narrow Way" by Amane Kanata (You said you liked range, Kanata has an insane range as well, this is a male/female duet she sings with herself)
"Uma To Shika" by Amane Kanata (to see just how HIGH her voice can go)
"DO U" by Takanashi Kiara ('cause Kiara is amazing and you really should listen to her)
I wish I wasnt so late to this one, Idk how I missed it.
but if you DO see this @G.O.T Games..... would you believe it if I said she somehow TOPPED the studio performance that already sounds masterful with the live performance at their concert "Link Your Wish" last March? it was ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING.
This song brings tears to my eyes every time. Absolutely beautiful.
Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/FyMVxhKxxHs/видео.html
I hope you react to this, this was such a very good cover.
Since we are on this train of thought:
- In koyori's channel you have a collab covering Yoasobi-Monster.
Risu is so a talented girl, she has amazing two voices and is a funny character.
I hope you'll enjoy another of her beautiful songs! 🐿
----------
I'd like to watch your next reaction of "Stellar stellar" Suisei's original song. ☄
That was so great music and MV. I'm sure that you'll enjoy it too!
(Also, the covered by Risu was great!)
----------
Sorry for my broken English, I'm a Japanese Hololive fan who learning EN.
Can you react to "Aquairo pallete" by Minato Aqua?
Copying over a comment from her video here, originally by @sitizahrafadillah6037
"ALiCE&u sounds like "I listen you", in Japanese pronouns it sounds like "A(yunda)risu and you". And when I read the lyrics it goes like:
[A]re my eyes deceiving me?
[Y]our soul start to fade
[U]nleash your magic to me
[N]ow it's time not to worry
[D]o believe in me
[A] journey we have to see
[R]urira rarira
[I]ncomplete melody
[S]ung with a sweet but yet a sad symphony
[U]nwavering spirit that you told me
[H]ow can I do it when you're not even here
[O]h let me
[L]et out the words I could say to you right now, I can only tell you a bit
[O]verwhelm me with your kindness is a GIFT that I could never ever trade with anything
[L]et the time send this song to your ears
[I] hope one day you will sing it to me
[V]ersatile melody that I tried to write
[E]veryday I would pray in my heart 'cause I'm reaching the sky
[I]n a time full of worries
[N]o light I could see
[DO] you want me to be here
[N]ulling all the emotions you're supposed to feel
[E]ven voice I wanna hear
[S]halala shalila
[I]ncomplete melody
[A]rriving in your ears like it's destiny
= [AYUNDA RISU HOLOLIVE INDONESIA]
what a genius...
Love you Risu
Also, when pronounced in japanese, the title "arisuandyu"(alice&u) is anagram for "ayunda risu".
if you react to suisei stellar stellar, also try the versions of Risu and Miko because they have also sung it and the feel is different. at least that's what i think
What makes her crazy talented is the fact that she is self-taught because she is too poor to afford it
Imagine if she's got a teacher
