Reason why she said "You are ME" is because even with that warning, each one of the Amelias always chose to bet on a choice where there might be a happy ending and save her friends, no matter the cost. The amount of bodies testify to her choice.

Undying hope in the face of impossible odds. And we know that they eventually succeed, since we are living in the good ending.
@@ShadeSlayer1911 My theory is that it was Ame's "Never give up" attitude that gave rise to hope (IRyS) who changed the next cycle and allowed us to live in the "good" timeline where Myth joined Hololive and AO-chan was therefore contained by YAGOO. (Gura's "Shark'd" video did show IRyS nudge her towards auditioning for Hololive).
@@lareolanKFP and that nudge is what allowed gura to meet the rest of myth much sooner than in the bad time lines. This meant that their bonds were strong enough to resist the ancient ones' influence. Ina in our timeline is still influenced by AO (notice her ear flaps, tentacle hair, and pointy ears), but she has it in check, with help from both her fellow myths and her takodachis.

I believe the “Good Ending” is our current timeline. Ame’s actions in “Bad Ending” were a success! Myth is laughing and having fun streaming.
The good timeline is probably the one with CouncilRyS. They only showed up in symbols.
@@faenethlorhalien My guess is that CouncilRys got tired of watching so many Ames fail again and again and thats why theyre here. Them finally showing up makes this the Good Ending.

The fun part is that we don't know how many times Ame had to try to reach the good ending. It could be ten, a thousand, a million, or more.
Ina doesn't have her own powers. When she picked up the book that was posessed by the Ancient Ones(AO chan) she became a priestess of the Ancient Ones. It's AO chan completely posessing ina, thats why they say "She lost control". When AO chan abandons ina you can see that he hair turns back to human hair and her flaps disappear too, when she gets hit by that laser she is a normal powerless human.
Also the current timeline is considered the "Good ending" and this was hinted at by Mazu, the creator as well. You can see Irys descending (hope) when ame turns back time.
You can see Irys send Gura towards hololive in her animation video, so its a popular theory that irys sends them all to hololive effectively creating the current good timeline

@@velocityofcl AFAIK There is no "Crew". Mazu drew & animated everything by himself, and probably synced the BGM/SFX as well. I forgot who created the SFX but I think the orchestra versions of Myth's BGM was commisioned by Mazu. Don't quote me on that. I think I saw somebody talk about the production of this masterpiece from other reactors.
Edit: It was on the description who made the BGM lol. But man Mazu's insane.

16:20 I’m fairly certain Ina trapped them inside the ominous black ball. To make it more tragic, the ink demon uses Kiara’s attack to kill Ina and Gura. You can hear Kiara’s bird cry during their deaths. I’m guessing that she was trying to escape, and the ink demon simply let an attack escape, killing Ina and Gura in the process.
Using Kiara's attack against Gura and Ina like that is so gut-wrenching 😭 GONNA CRY EVEN MORE

When the orchestral version of Ame's bgm started playing, I found myself in tears, not just because the end was sad, but because I realized how much I love this comunity, both Vtubers and fans. I expect greater things to come in the next years, I expect that Vtubers become a permanent mark in the content creation world!

The fact that a community could literally bring together so many talented artists into the limelight is insane. Hololive is the best thing that's happened to the world.
When it showed council's icons, Sanas one flickered and my god it HURT. Not to mention Ina realising the end and desperately trying to apologise to Gura before she got killed but just got obliterated half way through- it hurt.

It's cool how Astral Projection was used here, they literally made it into a projector. Also the part where Sana was glitching, cool reference to her graduation. You can also see Irys falling down the new timeline, giving meaning to the good ending's hope.

We are 100% living the Good Ending right now. The end of the video says "September 13th 2022" and the video released on October 31st.. Meaning September 13th has come, gone and the universe is still going. The sacrifice of the multiple Ames across time has come to fruition and the world continues with Holo Myth in their happiest lives.
The power and emotion captured in this animation is insane. The dedication and love of Hololive fans and the creations they're able to make is astonishing.
I'm so glad we're living the good version of the timeline where they can laugh and smile together and they're here making our days just a little brighter.
It would be SO cool if Mazumaro and the team did something like this for CouncilRyS too.

Hello, random wandering Sanallite here! Just thought I'd drop a few tidbits.
- The Ancient One having so much trouble with Gura that the only time it had the distinctive upper-hand was after Gawr disappeared and Gura reappeared, goes back into the mythos of H.P. Lovecraft, in which Atlantis has a distinctive connection to the eldritch horrors that exist in dark space. Look it up sometime; very interesting read. Now, mind you, Gura had no real chance as she is a berserker rather than a sage, but the battle forced TAO to reveal its true self for a moment, in order to reform Ina (its puppet/vessel).
- Conversely, Kiara and Calli knew that their inherent immortality would work against them because TAO would take them seriously from the very moment they engaged Ina.
- Someone else mentioned this, but the various themes that play during the battle are references to the girls' various original songs, from Calli's "Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?" to "Reflect." A nice touch, IMO.
- Ironically, it's believed that the Takodachis are a sort of limiter or power-leech for Ina, as they do not exist in this timeline (Hololive does not exist, and thus you see no references to them streaming or anything) to support Ina.
- Amelia is indeed the true threat because of her space-time artifact, which allows her to traverse the different possible timelines. Even TAO exists within space-time despite it being an eldritch being, so abilities beyond that would inherently pose a significant risk. Myth knew it, TAO knew it.
- Sana's symbol flickering is due to her own connection to TAO, as it does exist within her domain, and as an acolyte she would be the method in which TAO survives each attempt of fixing the timeline. It would also be the in-universe reason for Sana needing to leave so early in the good timeline, as she cannot let TAO to gain any more influence than it had accumulated by both hers and Ina's presence.
- The in-universe timestamp of the video playing on screen is how the estimated age of the known universe is displayed in hour-format (comes out to, if memory serves, 13.7 billion years - correct me if I'm wrong).
- By destroying the film, she basically rewinds time all the way to the very beginning, thus resetting the universe. I believe that, although she does experience the various Ames during the time-space jump, that she's not jumping through multiple universes but rather experiencing flashes of moments in history that her previous selves experienced in their own timelines - or else could be her limited, human mind trying to absorb the fantastical things she's seeing and putting them into a context she can actually comprehend (hence why her body reacts so violently after she finally comes to a stop in the Council viewing room.
- At the end, when the camera zooms out from the ground-level, you can see a distinct, white-lit winged shape being formed in the clouds. Some thought it was Kiara reappearing, but the shape is more distinctly IRyS's - the Hope of a brighter future has been birthed from Ame's actions in the Council observation room (NGL, I thought a YT video being projected onto a screen with an old-school projector was absolute GENIUS) and thus, in the reset timeline, she now has enough of a presence to bring Gura's attention to the Hololive talent agency. As a result, she meets Ina and the others, and they form the EN Gen1: Myth group (which happens in Gura's animated opening "Shark'd").
This was a brilliant short-film, and Ame absolutely LOVES it. I would love to see him do something for Council and TEMPUS.

With IRYS's influence, Gura meets the other Myths far sooner than she did in the bad ending timelines, which allows their bonds to grows stronger, strong enough to resist the control of the Ancient One.
I cannot tell you have many times I have watched this animation in the last 3 days. It also hit at least #20 on trending at one point!
Such an amazing feat! It's truly well-deserved, this entire project was incredible 😭
I really HOPE cover will fund that team to make a good ending. And i would love to hear a voice acting from talents themselves but it's too much to ask

Mazumaro tweeted on Sept. 16 "The good ending is happening right now what are y'all talking about" by which he means that the good ending is that we get to see them all streaming and having fun together. So most likely there won't be a good ending animation, but who knows, maybe we'll get lucky

yes story and all art animation done by mazu for year and on last release he work with Daph for SFX and Barnes for music for final release he also said on last ame panel he wanted to make it more sad and brutal but he pulled his punches because workload.

Id like to thing this ties to Gura's sharkd animation where Irys are tbe one showing her to hololive, hope could be seen in the cloud descending
My own personal headcannon to this is that when Ame resets the timeline this time, just enough of her hope is injected into this reset, which brings IRyS to existence (since we do see her symbol show up as the universe is rewinding) and is exactly what we needed to bring our current universe into existence where we have the good ending.
That hope would also be the reason that the Council attained their humanoid forms, which allows them to help maintain the peace and order in this universe.
The movie set was outside the concept of time and space i think.. bcs her body didnt decayed over time.. The End was outside of space time continuum

my interpretation of it is that its Ina's Book Necronomicon thats gone berserk.. the book is a book containing among other things, spells to summon ancient evils... if one of those evils came out of that book and possessed ina. this could happen.

The single entity that destroyed the world wasn't Ina/The Ancient ones, but Ame.
I am late to the party, but I still believe that in the good ending it will be Ame being the differnece. We could see the orb holding Kiara and Cali blink in one scene which can mean that they were close to getting free. I hope that it will be Ame that stops her time jump calculation and decide to believe in her friends insted of prepearing for their failiur and somehow delay the Ctulhu from unleashing the spell that killed Inna and Gura .. maybe just shoot it with pistol or something. That will give anough time for our immortals to get free and all the girls fight together.
Can you please react to Holowen Episode 1 Origin on the Official Hololive English Channel it came out and it is a new project and Fauna wrote it and the voice acting was amazing especially Gura. There is alao episode 2 that just came out with Bae, Calli Irys and Kiara
