You're beautiful man. Anyone like myself who was fortunate enough to live in the '80s not only remembers the movie, but the soundtrack as well. A lot of us were waiting for a beautiful rendition of this to show up somewhere, in the arena of ambient music. And you posted this on YT where most of us can get access. Thank you for this beautiful creation and sharing it with the rest of the world 🌎
Just when I thought you topped it with your "To Live and Die in LA" soundscape, you go one better with this. One of the most underrated films of the 80s. This is awesome
This is real vaporwave. I really like Thomas Newman's OST on this film and it's the reason why I got drawn to it time and time again. I wasn't alive in the 80s but I love 80s movies and music. When I first watched this film, I only did it because of RDJ being young and hip and also 80s! But the OST really drew me to watch it again this year. When I listen to this song, it really makes me imagine 80s aesthetics, like the ones you see on vaporwave, and just anything 80s, like for example 80s magazines, 80s posters, 80s fashion. It wreaks 80s vaporwave, not the shit that has gone viral today. I am really extremely grateful that Thomas Newman made this OST in 87. I hope there are a lot more "hidden" gems like this from that era.
Lmao remember this movie remember when he told him that. 80s man told the definition of how it was that decade man. Good movie very underrated, it’s a drug movie but I would give this kid a Oscar for how his performance eas
In the 80's, I worked in a theater when this movie was out. It was a one screen theater that showed second run movies after they premiered at the bigger venues. So this movie showed twice a night for a week. I saw it, or parts of it probably 10 times. I think of all the things like D.A.R.E., and don't do drugs, Nancy Reagan, etc., this was the single most important factor in me NOT going down that road when a lot of kids did. They should show it today in school since they show just about everything else. It might do some good to see what happens when you fall so low, less than zero low to be exact.
Does anyone know what app I can watch the video again 😮 I'm such a fan of the 80s movies and music ‼️‼️✝️💗❤️ But I really want to watch this movie again but all the movie apps I have downloaded don't seem to have this movie ‼️‼️‼️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️Thank you for sharing this information with me if possible ❤❤❤

This music is my favorite - thanks so much for such a long version!
This film still affects me like the night at the theater, 😢
I feel the same exact way! Nice to know that I am not alone out there.
One of my all-time favorite films. Indeed, one of the best movie scores ever made.

Glad I’m not the only one who can sit for hours listening to Thomas Newmans score from this film 👌
You and me both!
Great selection. This is one of the greatest movie scores ever.
When I make it to Heaven, I pray this is on the spin table.
This soundscape is absolutely mesmerizing! Perfect for studying and unwinding. Thank you for creating such a peaceful atmosphere. 🌌🎶
You are the Best! Once again, you read my mind...
Chapter n 3 and 9 deserves an Oscar like The English Patient.

Brilliant sound on the last moment of Julian as he dies in the red Corvette. That movie and soundtracks impressed me ever since it was released.
Always found that part hilarious lmao
