I live on a ‘narrow boat’ in Manchester UK… and have fallen asleep so many nights as the rain taps away on my roof and the waters around me… my cosy bedroom glowing that hint of blue. I have a big studio in the city, and in wintertime (like now) I moor the boat in the centre of the city and cycle to the studio each day. But in summer, when the weather is nice, I take the boat and cruise the English countryside on the canals. When I do that, I take my OP-1 field and my Make Noise Modular onto the boat. I also have a small, portable reel to reel tape recorder to record sounds to sample. It’s a good life 🙏🏼

It reminds me perhaps rather oddly, of the opening bars of 'Cry Wolf' by A-ha. Just the vibe if nothing else. A different key entirely. No sign of Tycho down there padding about the rooftops!

It's a great intermediary destination between the Union blinkgate and the rest of the Tabula Rasa system. Whether you're a freighter pilot looking to pick up crop crates from Egleris, or a migrant looking for harvesting work, Crystal Bounty is worth the visit.
I hadnt even seen the art when I was listening earlier and I was envisioning being in the world of blade runner looking out Deckards window where he was found in LA. Gazing into the sunlight, but out into an active world. Like this one. Floating at peace.
I have seen things you people wouldn’t believe - floating cities made of glass and light, a billion of artificial stars, stretching to the horizon in the morning myst of the Sea of Tranquility. I heard the sweet calls of sirens and was uplifted by seraphim choirs - I died of a broken heart and was reborn only to understand that nothing lasts and that time has to pass to be precious. All these things will be lost… like tears in rain.

I never dreamed my audiophile path would have eventually led me here after 50 years. The shear dynamics of many State Azure recordings are frightening while being truly exciting to the Nth degree. I truly enjoy your performances/thanx.
lol guess im not the only lol old man here enjoying this. We didnt have all these fancy synths, EQs and keyboards and had to create our own unique ways of creating sounds

This is really great. The visuals go really well and expand upon the iconic lighted keyboard look you already have. It's good to have diversity even if I really love the shots of your equipment you've frequently used.

Showing the keyboards, synths and other devices, I was seeing or feeling as if you were composing as you recorded the videos. Heck you probably were. Right now I'm strictly listening to you, as its a very stressful time and I dont sleep, eat, socialize or interact with anyone lately. Sadly, it's not my doing having no social interactions though. Some traumatic experience happened here in 2018 at a neighbor's to my child and finally justice will be served in the next couple weeks

Growing up with the world of psychedelic music electronic sounds that came from LP records by Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and so many others, that in the days of old, used other methods to create sounds, I have come to like this musical format. There are so many youtubers who make attempts claiming the use of theta waves, delta waves, binaural, ASMR 4K, 8K etc; but this has them all beat for music to destress. I recently installed music premium from youtube looking specifically at Tangerine Dream. I subscribed ASAP then chose the radio option. State Azure, you just lol kept dropping into that spectrum of sound and that's got to be an honor for you to be included in that world of sounds and now sight. This is what I often heard also on NPR radio with Steven Hill's Hearts of Space. Many of the artists there like Steve Roach, Constance Demby, Llewellyn, were newcomers and too became well known. Keep up the great compositions friend. The thunder just adds that right touch for me, as I can smell the rain outside my window here in Wisconsin, tonight

Everyone says you have a similar sound to vangelis but you have an amazing original sound imo.
